It is super quick and easy to print here. They carry all of the supplies I need for work and supplies I get for my teacher friends to prepare for the school year. Needed invitation envelopes for our greeting cards we make. Price was fair but the salesperson was too busy talking with a co-worker to assist us. When I asked where I could find them she said they were in the back by aisle 12. We were one of the only people in the store on 12/24/24 @ 9:30am and elderly. It would have been nice for her to assist us in locating them. read more

COVID-19 Phase: I came here to get fingerprinted for Census job. Masks must be worn. The worker Matt was nice and welcoming. Easy to talk to. He helped me. You call in when you arrive and they send you to the restrooms to wash your hands. Then you go to the printing room and they have it all set up. You provide 2 forms of ID. I showed my license and passport. Then they scan your hands twice and take a picture. No smiling. The store is very clean and well taken care of. The fingerprinting was easy. It's digital. Your fingerprints gets scanned and it gets sent. You are also given a Privacy Act Statement along with knowing what will happen next and Office Max coupons. Woohoo! Great service and store! I went here this afternoon to have some business cards done for my husband. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The gentleman that helped me at the printing desk was super helpful. I was using the mobile app to design the cards, which was a real pain in the behind. Two hours and 5 designs later I finally finished the card and went to the counter. The app was still acting up when I went to complete the transaction. He was very patient and helped walk me through some steps to finally get it complete. read more

I needed a paper printed I sent it over said they didn't get it sent it 5x with the employee verifying the email was correct still didn't get it then suggested to connect to the Wi-Fi sent 3 more times with verification still didn't get my paper printed / don't come here if you need your papers printed . I went into the Clovis, California store for copies and to send some fax. I stood there and stood there and not one person would even look at me much less offer to help. Several people were "working", (by that I mean), walking around behind the counter so I left. Won't recommend or return. read more

Mediocre service. If you're searching for something that you cannot find, GOOD LUCK. No one is around to help. Service is slow when trying to make copies or ship via FED EX. Copies are over priced compared to UPS which is only 10-15¢ VS Office Max's 12-25¢. Employees always seem to be in a mood, and I mean ALWAYS. I come here at least 1-2 times a month and everyone seems like they hate their job. Nonetheless, I still shop here because they have certain things I cannot find at Walmart or Target. read more

I've used the Copymax print center at OfficeMax quite a bit this last year. The staff is helpful and the store is clean and organized. I've used every print center (FedEx Kinkos, Staples) and there are often issues with timing and mistakes made. However, I recently had an order that needed to be reprinted at this location and the manager was very helpful, making sure I was happy with the end product. The experience earned my customer loyalty. In working with the print department, my suggestion is to ask for a proof and get a realistic pick up time, in writing, on the order form. Then call ahead to make sure your order is ready and if there is a problem, speak to the manager. read more

Went there to get ink. Price advertised was $18. So I got one black and one color ink. I got to the register and the lady says you're total is $75. I told her the price of the ink said only $18 and she said no they are about $35 each. So I go and take a picture of the price it is advertised and the inks that are in the slot which are the same model number on the price label. Show the lady and she says no that is wrong. She goes and takes all the ink in that slot and puts it behind the register because it is "not in the right place". When it clearly was because it has the matching model numbers. So she just had to give me the prices as marked. Also nine of the dell inks were near $35 so just pay attention to the prices there or they will try and take advantage. read more

Most unprofessional, unreliable place. Twice we have been here for copies for our company for time sensitive documents. Neither of the times were the copies ready. We went back one day later when these services are usually done within a couple of hours. Both times the manager present did not seem to care. This time manager "cara" just stood there making excuses about glue and binding and 24hr turn around time. We were never notified it would be a 24 hr turn around time. This is ridiculous. Had we been told this we would of gone somewhere else. We will no longer use Office Max for any of our services. We spend a minimum of $500 a week here, and will be taking our services elsewhere. read more

Update! Guy with a beard is NOT nice and helpful anymore! I went in to print some invitations waited for about 20 minutes for him to print one sample the quality wasn't great so I asked if he could use a different printer. He refused and said he could set it up a different way for better quality but didn't have time to do it. Really?!?! You don't have time?!?! I was the only customer there and I understand he probably has other jobs going on but for him to just flat out say he doesn't have time was so rude and unprofessional. He didn't even offer to do it another time or tell me when he could have it done. I will not be returning to this location ever again!!!!! ZERO STARS!!!! read more

Not only did I have to wait for thirty minutes to be helped, by the time I was finally assisted they couldn't find my order number.

I have had issue after issue after issue with this place but we continue to go back because it is near my office. Recently, there is this young girl working there who has a serious issue with me for no apparent reason. I made a return (wearing my company shirt) and didn't have the receipt so they asked for my ID. I didn't have my drivers license on me (I left it in the wrong purse on accident) so I gave them my passport. Well she did not like this and rudely asked IN FRONT OF HER MANAGER "how did you drive here then if you don't have an ID? You know that illegal who do you think you are?" I said excuse me???? After the transaction was over she threw the receipt at me and turned and walked away. I went to a different manager and complained on her and left. I returned about a week later and as I was walking out she saw me, and stood directly in front of me trying to leave laughing and when I tried moving around she moved where I was going...WHILE AT WORK. I have called and complained multiple times and nothing has been done. Won't be going back if they hold no standards for their employees read more

Recently I was in a hurry when I purchased toner cartridges for my home printer. Last night, when I attempted to install them, I discovered I'd picked up the wrong #s. Two packages, one was a combo pkg, and one was an individual cartridge - I was SICK! I felt sure I'd have to eat the (significant) loss as I'd opened the packages and it was my own mistake. I took the cartridges in first thing this morning, was greeted immediately by Cara, who was very pleasant and efficient. I told her I'd made a terrible mistake and she took it from there - She knew exactly what I needed, even got it off the shelf for me, and made the exchange! I was in and out within minutes, with the correct cartridges, and at no extra cost. Cara is AWESOME and I am so pleased! read more
