GameStop has the video game you want and the ones you didn't know you wanted. We came in here looking for Zelda for a 3DS. We found that but were unable to get a Skylander we were looking for. Calvin K. was very nice in offering to call around to see if other Gamestops had it available in their shops. Anthony checked us out and he was super pleasant to the point he laughed at my silly jokes. He was very nice and he tried his best to help me access my rewards points. This store has great customer service. My only problem is not with the establishment but with some patrons. Now we have employees here that go far and beyond to help us find what we need... Please acknowledge them the way they acknowledge us. Don't be gangster. Get off your phone for just a second and say,"Hi, no thanks. I'm good." Literally left game stop bought infinity ware fare 30 mins went back some girl named Elena helped me said she couldn't sell me ww2 because I don't look over age and I didn't have my Id with me I'm married and had my two kids 28 I've never had a problem with buying anything my whole life shopping at game stop she said she doesn't know if I had someone over age to buy me my games with MY account! My son had lost his Visa Debt card, near his bank at Herndon and Marks and the day after it was lost/stolen charges showed up from this store. My son, whom is 20 yrs old had 288.00 in the bank and for some reason they drained that exact amount. The total purchase was 541.00 they used some other form of payment with minus the $288.00 they stole. When my son called the bank they said Gamestop tried to run the card for the full amount of $541.00 but it was denied not once, not twice but THREE times. Per the bank record the transaction was made on Dec 26th, 2013 at 7:02PM. We called the store 30 minutes after the charge and got ahold of manager and she didn't want to help us at all. We also asked if they check ID's when credit cards are used and they insisted they do. Obviously they do NOT! We filed a police report and filed a claim with the bank. Something is real shady here and if I get further information and find this company or an employee was not in the wrong I will update my review on yelp and Facebook. If I could give 0 stars I would! I've never left a business in tears until today!!!! I will NEVER shop at GameStop again! I just left GameStop on Blackstone Avenue in Fresno in tears after being treated with EXTREME disrespect by 2 associates, Ryan and Matt. I bought a pre-owned game a week ago at this location and asked the associate if they check to be sure the game works. He responded with yes and if it doesn't work I can bring it back for store credit. I brought the game home and it did not work, it did not even load. My 5 year old was upset, so I called to confirm that I could in fact return the game and was told yes. I went back today to return this game and was told I could only return it if I had a receipt. I searched the return policy and no where does it state I need a receipt it simply says "you can return any pre-owned game for any reason within 7 days." I asked for an explanation and asked to be shown where it states I needed a receipt. The associate said it states on the receipt, which it does not. I said it's not right that I pay $17 for a game and am told it is tested and that it will work only to find out it won't work and I can't return it. I asked if there was anything they could do, he said he would give me trade in value for $8. I didn't think that was fair or right. I said "I would really appreciate a full store credit for the value I paid" he declined. I said what am I supposed to do with a game that doesn't work? And I'm out $17? And I have a son who is disappointed? And you can't prove to me that I need a receipt? And I was told I could return? Both associates were extremely rude. So I made mention that they were being unreasonable and rude, to which Ryan responded "You know what, you can take your game and leave. Get out of here." I told him "I'm begging you to please exchange this for my son." He said "fine, but you need to apologize to me and this man." By now I'm in tears and I say ,"I apologize" he exchanged it for another game and I left. The customer behind me followed me out and he stopped me, "Excuse me miss. That was very wrong. I'm sorry you were treated that way. You didn't deserve that." He then asked me if I wanted his number so he could be witness to what happened when I file a complaint. Anyway, Go to BRE software or ANYWHERE else. Just DON'T GO HERE!!!!! And if you do have to go here KEEP YOUR RECEIPT or you'll be out your money if anything is wrong!!!! read more

Gamestop is only a good place to shop for their Buy-Two-Get-One free deal. Literally their used games are expensive, and the price of their used games are so close to the price of their new games that it doesn't make sense to buy a used one.
