This has to be the filthiest store I ever had the displeasure of entering. Trash, paper, leaves, and dirt all over the floor and not in one specific area. The whole store! The windows have a layer of dirt I thought at first was "artificial snow" sprayed on the windows for the Christmas season but nope, it's dirt. It looks as if the floors haven't been moped in years. Disgusting!! The cashier was what I would describe as one who is lacking motivation and the ability to change currency without the assistance of the register. This place sucks! Waited in line 30 minutes just to get a label printed. Not a pleasant expierence when standing for too long puts you in pain! Tried self service, couldn't find an email in my email anywhere with a release number. Grrrrrrrrrr! read more

This has got to be one of the dirtiest stores I've ever been in. The floor looks like it hasn't been swept/mopped in years. There was trash laying around in every aisle. During quarantine we where looking to making our upstairs an office due to working from home. Came here for a new office set up. Gentlemen that was stocking shelfs stopped to help gather a desk and a chair. 10 extra points in my book. Paid quickly he even brought it to our vehicle and helped me load it in. This place should not be listed under printer repair and definitely shouldn't be listed first. I walked in with my printer and asked if they did printer repair. The person I asked had to ask someone else on his headset and the answer was "no". They do NOT fix printers. read more

My first experiences here were positive. I have been to various locations of Office Max (mostly NJ--bought my first computer at OM), but not recently because they don't have any where we lived for 10 years in Northern VA. We have been greeted by more than one person on the floor and asked if we were finding what we wanted. Sometimes we needed help, other times we were browsing. In all cases, we felt helped, not pressured. Sales folks were informative. I did get what I thought was a "steal" on a 22-in AOC HD Flat Screen Computer monitor for $40 off ($109.99) and I have yet to find comparable prices elsewhere. This replaces a 17-inch CRT that I have to either give away or pay $5 for environmentally friendly disposal. I definitely will check here when shopping for office supplies. read more

I have recently started using this Office Depot location for all my printing needs for my at-home business. Although I have a great purchasing program through Office Depot and enjoy the quality and discount that I receive, I question the operational aspect of this location. The copy and print center is severely understaffed. My average time spent at the copy and print center is 2 hours and not for lack of care of the lovely lady there. When I arrived today at 2:30, the copy and print center supervisor Cindy was the only one working, answering phones, and assisting customers. I had emailed the files I needed to print to the store prior to arriving. Due to the line of customers and the amount of time it usually takes to assist each customer with designing a print project and helping them complete it, I did not leave until 4:30pm. The young lady Cindy did mention too that she had not even been relieved for a lunch break yet at 4:30pm!!!! Where was the store manager this whole time!? She is an exceptional employee, and this is a prime example of a way to lose one of those! read more

Be weary of their computer system. More often than not, current specials you see on the sales floor are not in the computer system WHEN you check out. After you mention what you are buying has a sales price, it will MIRACULOUSLY appear with some odd excuse from the cashier. read more

I had ordered business cards online and picked up in the Martinsburg, Wv location. First off i had ordered 50 business cards received only 47, told them about it, they told me they couldn't do anything about it cause i walked out the store and simply walked back it. Second, i didn't like how my order was laying on a shelf knowing it was already paid for and anyone can steal anybodies order. Third, if your going to work at a OfficeMax/Officedepot, Please wear your uniform! not your ugg boots and hollister hoodie. Very bad customer service and professionalism. *Hint* If your going to work with the public, make sure you are friendly and actually look like you work at the place you work at! I ordered some banners for a seasonal sensitive campaign from the Martinsburg, WVA location. The entire process took over 2 hours due to the store being so short staffed. That was frustrating that I had to spend that much time simply placing an order but it goes one better. I had an option for expedited service which would have taken a few days. I chose not to use it because I was given a delivery time of 5 days which was the end of the week. I was supposed to be contacted when my order arrived. The following Monday I called the store having not been contacted. I was told that my order would be another 7 days at least taking me through another business week. My order was for a time sensitive topic and I would have selected the expedited service if there were questions as to the delivery date. Now my campaign is no longer topical and I did not get as much as an apology from these folks. I have used there services for the first and last time at that location. Customer service and satisfaction at least for me was horrible. Spend a little less time trying to control your payroll and take care of your customers! read more
