I took phone in for blurry camera on 07/03/25. A polite tech said camera was defective and needed to order the part which would take 5-7 days. I paid the 25% deposit. The tech said they'd call when the part came in and I'd have to bring the phone back for 2 hour installation. On 07/11/25 I called to get an update. I was told the part arrived but THEY HAD NO CERTIFIED TECH TO INSTALL IT! Two phone calls and two returns to the store and got the same response. On 07/23/25 we requested a credit. I was sent here by Samsung for a warranty repair. They said they could repair the phone but they would need to hold it for 2 to 3 weeks to be sure Samsung would reimburse them for the work. I even had the Samsung warranty personnel on the phone to assure them it would be covered. That seems so petty of them to hold a customer's phone as ransom so they wouldn't be out a few bucks - even when the manufacturer told them it would be covered. When your policy is to put the customer 1st (like Costco and Lowes) you survive in good times and bad. When your policy is to ransom the customer equipment until your sure you are covered (like uBreakiFix), you will eventually fail. read more

Very helpful and polite.. they know they're tech stuff that's for sure. Verizon instructed me to use them for the transfer of old phone data to the certified replacement phone they sent. Except I had to still transfer the tiny SIM card my self to the replacement phone and had a real hard time with that. I didn't realize the defective IPhone I had originally received from Verizon new even had a SIM card in it til the Verizon representative on the phone asked me to remove it. Useless. Incredible hassle for repair of my Google Pixel 3a XL (a cheap, less capable phone anyway). Would only be useful if I wanted to replace unit, not repair and only if willing to pay deductible 3x repair deductible!! Much better service and people who actually know what they are doing at Fixit Mobil, downtown Prescott. I was lured by fact that YouBreakIFix is "authorized repair center" for Google. Big mistake. I will go back to Fixit next time I actually need someone who can repair cell phone. read more

First of all I looked up this location on google and it showed temporarily closed so I called the number. They told me that it was just closed for the holidays. Kind of strange because it was the 29th of December ok I'll wait till the 3rd of January. I made a reservation to have my cracked screen fixed. After rearranging my schedule to make the reservation time I got there and they were closed with a note on the door and the same number that I called earlier. I understand things come up, life happens but why was I able to make a reservation for a closed store that knew they would be closed until the 7th of January. Their technology must not offer a way to Block dates. Just got back from my Appointment, STORE CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE was the sign on the door today. I never heard back from them, except for the receipt and appointment time and number. No show. No refund either. What a racket! This is bad, but what is worse is their refusal to refund my money. I'm so impressed with the great service I received today. I finally joined the "bust my cell phone screen" club last night. I on a whim thought I'd stop by and see if I was about to be an owner of a premium and severely busted screened iPhone. With being Saturday and during this "pandemic" era I had never thought about them being possibly closed. To my surprise they were open and since I was there pretty early I was able to get in and to my great surprise n shock I was told my highly costume iPhone was completely and favorite quickly repairable. I mean part of my phones screen was missing to where you could see plastic phone pieces that weren't supposed to show, or so I'm thinking. Any ways I was given a pretty quick time of about 45 mins. I was so great full I just sat in my truck waiting on it's repair. After it's repair and time to pay for the repair, he handed me my phone back and I could swear he handed me a new or different phone. There was no comparison to the last time I saw this same phone. I'm still amazed at the great service, respectful and timely fix. Another of my great likes was the price. It didn't cost me the price of getting a new phone. As you can probably tell, I truly know that I can send all my friends here and not one would be upset about the service they'd receive. Heck I'd even send my enemies. Maybe they'd become friends. this place should not be open they ripped me off 5 times now every time I take my phone in to fix my screen something on my phone stops working my face and Touch ID stops working then took it back they try to charge more even though it worked prior to going then today my volume buttons stopped working after they changed the screen don't get me started on the price they racked up they charged me 144.99 to pay in cash I go to use a card it bumped the price to 163.88 how the hell does that make sense almost 20 more $ for a card not to mention I told them the screen wasn't set in place they said that it was fine as I popped it in place this place is a fucking joke do not go here they suck read more

If I could pick something below 1 star, I would. I went here looking to get my phone screen fixed, and when the employee looked at my phone, he said it was going to be $450 to fix my screen. However, little did he know that I had an insurance plan through Verizon and the actual screen replacement was only $30. As soon as I mention I have an insurance plan, suddenly "my phones frame is bent" and "there's too much damage to just replace the screen!" So, riddle me this, why wasn't there too much damage to replace the screen when it was $450, but as soon as you have to honor an insurance contract you can't do it?? Make it make sense! They then sent me away with a phone number to call and file a claim. What a joke. Bottom line is this organization is full of greedy frauds, and I highly recommend using someplace else to fix your devices. read more

When I went in and made the deposit for a replacement cell phone battery I was told that the battery would arrive within 3-5 days. There was a note on the receipt which said that they would follow up with me in one week. Well, after two weeks I called to check on my battery and was told that according to the battery distributor's paperwork it had been shipped twice although my battery still had not arrived. Colton said that he would reorder the battery from a different vendor. One week later I called again and was told that the battery had just arrived. Understand that a one day holiday occurred during the final week. However, total elapsed time was 3 weeks, not the promised 3-5 days. I can understand that there may have been a supplier problem . However, what I cannot understand that I didn't even get an apology (even though a discount on the price was in order) after I told the sales person that I was disappointed with the service. I needed a new iPhone battery and after calling a couple of other places, we were directed to call uBreakiFix. I called, went there dropped off my iPhone, and within few short hours I was back picking up my iPhone which I'm very happy I can use for another few years. I was so happy that they were located in Prescott and that I did not have to go to an Apple store in some big city. I had a warranty job on a galaxy s10, the shop was listed as opening at 11:00 am on a Sunday but left the store parking lot at 11:30 am and still not open. I called around 1:30 and the female that answered the phone stated that the hours were from noon on Sunday even thought their phone message and sign on the door stated 11:00 am and the lied and said they opened early at 11:15 am. After all was said and done, I got my phone in to be fixed and told it would be done by 6:18 pm. I called at 6:00 pm and the same female answered and told me the phone couldn't be fixed because of some glitch with their communication with Samsung and I could pickup my phone and work with the insurance company for a new phone. I went the the store and picked up my phone which was repaired and the gentleman that fixed it said the glitch in their system only pertained to closing out the work order, he was very professional but the female that was answering the phone is incompetent and very rude and should be fired immediately. read more
