When I secured text evidence from my ex agreeing to 50/50, my attorney was hesitant to use it, stating "it might hold up in court." I ignored their advice, went to court, and the judge awarded 50/50 custody specifically citing the texts my attorney wanted to downplay. Financials: At our Pendente Lite (P&L) hearing, the judge ruled that no alimony was necessary for my ex. Despite this, when the opposing party asked for alimony again during asset division, my attorney pressured me constantly to pay it simply to reach a quick settlement. I had to act as my own advocate to stop this firm from giving away my parenting time and assets. If I had listened to their advice, I would be seeing my children significantly less and paying unnecessary support.

After our discussion, I felt that she was too expensive highest from all I spoke to for just filling two forms in CEAC and felt really ripped off. I requested her to send me data via email which she never did. I just got a email in the evening from her that she cannot process my petition. This law office was too expensive and just pressuring me to change the star rating. Well she can claim any amount she likes to charge but any one with some IQ will not retain her too expensive. When I met with him he was able to give me all my options and told me about all possible outcomes and how he could help. He was able to squash the bench warrant without me having to appear in court and was able to set a new date for me so I could resolve the case. We took it all the way to a jury trial where i was found guilty, but EVEN THEN Mr. Lavine was able to negotiate with the judge and I was given probation before judgment.
