Pretty cool place with just about every type of beer you could want. Unless you are a Hefeweizen beer drinker, such as myself. I believe they had one choice, which I did order. Man, this place is great. The owner knows beer, knows local breweries, and knows everyone that walks in the door. I've never seen so many beer options in one place! They literally have something for everyone. I really enjoy trying new beers here. I love that I can choose something on tap or try just one can to see if I like it. If you like something, you can build your own 6pack. If you wanna stay and try things, order the pretzel or the biscuits. There's no wrong answer- though the hot chicken one is hot- be forewarned! (Think hot wing sauce) they also have some sort of slushee that I meant to try but I forgot because I was distracted by a "sour IPA" and some other interesting things I wanted to try. Cool place to come grab some beer, frozen sangria or wine (quite a selection). While the inside is tight and cozy, the outdoors has a lot of seating. It is dog and kid friendly, and a nice place to just sit and enjoy the weather. On some weekends there is a food truck, so that is nice. Overall the place is clean and very welcoming. There is a lot of bottled beers and ciders to pick from and just a small amount of beers on tap. While I understand that space is probably an issue, I wish they wouldn't carry local beers like Faust on-tap. If I want Faust, I can drive over there. If more taps were available it'd be fine but I'd rather try something else local but not from the same town. read more

Cool spot, great beer selection. Like the decor. Visit whenever in town, which is every couple weeks. Only drawback is the service. Yes...standard greeting. But that's where it ends. Not friendly, consistently, reluctant to answer questions, never engage with us. Like "how's the beer?" "Have you tried the....?". Nothing. And when we do ask questions, get a short or sarcastic, (looking annoyed) or condescending answers. People much friendlier at Krauses. Shame, this place is so much closer to where we stay. read more

I love this spot, dove by so many times but now I can't help but stop in. Incredible beer selection; 12 drafts and a wall of niche finds. My inner beer nerd geeks every time I sit down with a pint. This IS a cool little spot, it IS a great place to try out many different beers since you can make your own six packs, but I do wish there was pricing so you have an idea of what you are about to spend without having to ask someone how much everything is. And I do also wish the pricing was at least somewhat competitive. I totally understand they don't sell at volume like the big box stores, and I don't expect big box pricing. And I'm sure the lease on the building is not cheap, so to some extent, I do understand why the pricing is on the higher end. But without pricing, what happens is you pick out a number beers and you have a rough idea of what it all might cost, then you get rung up and the total is considerably more than you were thinking. It's really an unpleasant experience. At that point you don't want to make a fuss, so you just shell it out. If you are not in a position where you need to stretch your dollars, definitely stop in. You will love it. If you DO need to stretch dollars like me, you'll probably want to stick to the big boxes for now. read more

Awesome spot in New Braunfels that offers tons of craft beers. You can create your own six-packs and the beers are super cheap. The folks who work here are also super helpful. There are cold beers ready to go and also beers that are not refrigerated. Tons and tons to select from. There is also outdoor seating right outside to enjoy the beers. Awesome people. My girlfriend and I absolutely love coming to this place!. The beer selection is out of this world!

This place is great! They have like 250+ different beers in cans and bottles, and 12 on draft. They also have the most banging biscuit sandwiches. I had a great time, even with COVID stipulations. They ask that you wear a mask when not immediately seated, but you can remove to sip a beer when you are walking around, just remember to put it back on, or they will ask you to do so. We stopped in to have a drink since the owner moved and forgot to tell us. Does that sound familiar to anyone else out there? The new place is awesome, there is a large bar area and seating inside and out. They also now have homemade foods and snacks. They have the same great selection of Texas beers and a few more. They also have a huge selection of can and bottle beers you can either drink there or take a six pack home with you. You will have to try the fire sale (I think that's what it was called). The bartender picks out a beer or hard seltzer out of the cooler, it's fun like a spin of the wheel to try something different. They now have Sangria Slush which tasted very good and it is also made in house. I felt very comfortable there, you wear a mask unless you are sitting to drink and eat, they use social distancing, very clean. and the restroom was also very clean. My first impression is the place is super friendly. When We walked in the door people greeted us, and asked us to join them. That is so Texas! I love that. Thursdays is Guest tap night. Austin beerworks was Brewery. We had the stout, and we enjoyed it. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable. I always like places that have couches. We started our New Year's Eve fun here. Nice selection of local beers on tap, and a tons more craft beers sold by the bottle or can. They had complimentary hotdogs and chips and queso. We sat at a table and played a couple of games we brought, but they had a nice selection of their own, too. The owner was personable and welcoming.
