Drinks are always tasty with the unique flavors of their own distilled spirits. They sell snacks and sometimes have food trucks outside. Service is always fantastic. I believe they have live music on the weekends, but we left before the music began. Also, if you are looking for a venue for your celebration, you can rent out the distillery. My co-worker had her retirement party here and they allowed her to bring in her selected caterer. We had such a fun time.

Although the locale is humble/industrial, once inside, Ranger Creek has a brewery/distillery vibe that is welcoming, relaxing, and just works. We had some bourbon flights, and we were all pleasantly surprised at the quality of Ranger Creek bourbon. The Texas Landmark mesquite smoked bourbon was my favorite and well suited to both sipping and high end Old Fashioneds. Is Ranger Creek as good as Garrison? But I am so very glad that I got to experience a beer from Blue Owl. I really enjoyed it a lot! The beer that Steve and I had was called Spirit Animal. This beer was a sour and a pale ale that was kind if blended together it seemed making it very unique and tasty! Nothing in the flavor profile was too sweet about it at all. The sour feature was in full effect and it was great! Flavors to detect and have fun with this beer are sour, tart, hoppy and dryness. I think that part, the dryness I liked best. The beer is nice and light bodied which is a great fit for when Austin cranks up the southwest and summer heat!

Then you put on protective gear and get to see a hive up close, and even get to taste a bit of honey from the hive. Tours are small and capped at 12 people, making them intimate and giving you the chance to get as up close to the hive as you want. The instructors are friendly and very knowledgeable. One aspect that could be improved is the quality of the protective gear. The suits have holes -- some have already been patched, and some still need to be fixed. Noticing some of these unpatched holes in my suit made me feel slightly less protected.
