We came here from Oklahoma for an event. Must say impressive campground, store, food and experience. Everyone was super friendly, helpful and respectful to everyone with no judgements. The store had misc items that you might've forgotten, drinks, snacks and a pool table inside. There is also a place to order burgers, pizzas, etc near the store which was affordable and the burgers are pretty good. The campgrounds have spots for RV with power and water hookups, also primitive RV spots as well. Tent camping spots all have outlets so you can a run a fan, charge your phone etc (no AC). The campgrounds are clean and staff made sure the trash bins stayed empty, the bathrooms and shower facilities are clean and up-kept. Definitely can't wait to return. read more

We just went here this past weekend. It's very clean & the staff here are very friendly. The campsites near the river are way over crowded but if you have friends and family who can go with you. Then it could be cool. I don't think I would want to camp tent to tent though. I don't want to be that close to complete strangers, sorry just not my thing. We knew going on the morning of our camping day would make it hard to find a camp site, but fortunately there was still space available. We found a nice spot under a tree in a corner near everything. The restrooms were clean and that is a big plus!! They also had a few random port-a-potty's on the property. I didn't use those though...lol The campsites did not have barbecue pits but luckily we took our own. So be prepared. They have a little cafe, bar and food truck that sells snow cones and corn. Nice people. The tube shuttle was very good about going and picking up tubers, we never had to wait. The 4 hour float was a bit much but we enjoyed it. The float from up top to MB is way better. It's only a 2-3 hour, with a few more rapids and nicer scenery. They have volleyball nets and horse shoe sandboxes. All in all, we would go again. Not bad at all for $15 a person to camp. read more

Huge campgrounds, friendly staff... and as I talked with an employee just last week... this campground is for adults so keep this in mind when booking your river trip if you have a family (adults as in rules are pretty lenient aka not family friendly although families are welcome)... reading the other reviews, you have to agree. After not coming to New Braunfels aka " The River" for almost 15 years, I was pleasantly surprised that Paul and his crew has continued to provide a great area for camping and enjoying the Guadalupe River and the surrounding areas. I first started coming to Mountain Breeze in 1996, and have had many trips logged, then a break from 2003-2017. This trip in late February 2017 was just as great as the others. Not only will you find a friendly and help full staff, but also a clean camping area, nice cabins, clean and stocked bathhouse/restrooms. They also have a bar/lounge and during peak season, a grille is open provide meals with a seating area over looking the river. ( at this time in late feb 2017, we were the only campers here and the grille was not open so in cannot review the food) With this stay, I opted to stay in a cabin. For a very reasonable rate, there was a a full size bed, a window ac for warmer weather and a small space heater for the colder ones. Outside was a fire pit with a grille and picnic table. Luckily it was still cool during the day. The cabins are set apart from the tent camping areas. This area is open with little shade. I brought an ez-up for shade. As I write this review, they are in the process of building a second bath house which is very convenient. It would be even more beneficial if they added water spigots outside near the cabins ( I had to search for a place to wash cooking utensils, etc) and outside electrical outlets ( tent sites and RV sites have water and electric ). The only thing that concerned me with this trip were the spiders in and around the cabin. In their defense, they are just now starting to prepare for the busier season ( workers are seen repairing, painting, and cleaning the grounds) and may have plans to address the spider issues. And with the slower season, this cabin may not have been used in several weeks/months. I don't have fear of spiders per se, but I believe the spider I saw was a brown recluse (bad). Other than this one issue, I HIGHLY recommend Mountain Breeze. I stayed away way too long, and will be returning soon. Thank you Paul and his crew for an amazing weekend.... again. read more

DISGUSTING RESTROOMS/SHOWERS. 1 star because there is no 0 star option. Never coming back here again. This is a huge campground with only 8 super tiny, dirty, old, moldy, malfunctioning showers. I don't think it would kill the owner to invest a litte $ back into the facility, you walk in the restrooms and it's like a sauna, you shower yet come out drenched in sweat while you change. Would a few windows/vents break the bank? I don't think so. The restrooms are TINY, barely space for you to stand up straight. They haven't remodeled since last time we were here (back in 2009 or so) they raised the prices A LOT yet nothing has improved - except for the mini stage for a small live band or dj, and 4 extra restrooms with SHOWER CURTAINS acting as doors ‍ really?? everyone can see what you're doing as they walk. $3 10lb ice bags, $20 per person to go tubing on the river, $20 per night, we were a party of 17ppl. They make thousands per day, I'm 100% sure they can invest a little for better, cleaner facilities. read more

Used these guys to float with yesterday and they were great. Apparently we were not really connected to them as we were staying at the Grove but they were willing to let half the group use their own tubes while half rented and drop us all off together. Funny and pleasant guys. read more

This place was hands down the most horrifying camping experience ever. It would closer compare to tailgating than actual camping. The campsites are uncomfortably small. But that doesn't stop people from stacking tent upon tent. Whole place is a huge party (which I expected) but it was a really rough crowd. There was vomit and poop all over the bathroom and people were getting in fights at night. The most disturbing thing about this place is that it wasn't a bunch of college kids partying... It was all grown ass adults... Most with horrendous chest tattoos or missing teeth DO NOT BRING YOUR CHIlDREN HERE I paid $45 to stay 3 nights.. Needless to say I left the first. If the camp sites were bigger I would re consider this one star rating but I would still never return. read more

A group of us went over the Memorial Day weekend and "shit show" would be an understatement. The campground is WAY over sold and the sites they give you are about large enough for one tent and a couple chairs. We went in expecting a party but the lack of privacy and the amount of people made it impossible to sleep. They did have a crew cleaning up trash and emptying garbage in the mornings and the landscape was pretty. But that's about all of the positives. If you're looking to join a gang, admire some homemade tattoos and take a dump on the bathroom floor than this is the place for you! read more

We loved this campsite! It's convenient and affordable. Three of my girlfriends and I went for one night on a spontaneous trip & had a blast. We got a nice spot in the overflow lot. John is one of the drivers and his wife works the bar. They're awesome. John drove us & carried our huge cooler all the way down to the river for us. There is a restaurant and bar which had live music too. We went to the restaurant after the float and grubbed on frito pie and cheeseburgers. Highly recommend this site! read more

One star is pushing it. Totally gross, neglected, nasty bathrooms. Typical tent city on the Guad. Pack em in as close as you can! It is now 2:20am and they are still playing some suck Karaoke crap mixed in with decent music which was cool until about 1am. I can only figure they are still playing something I mean anything, trying to keep around 10 people drinking so they can sell more crappy beer. The cabin sucks and the a/c isn't doing shit & it's only in the high 60s, I feel bad for people who try to stay here in the summer and I am a frequent tent camper! This is super sub par for the price. Gypsy River is a nicer place for sure they even have a cool vintage boutique and I'm pretty sure any of the others on further down are too, 2nd crossing campground was very clean, thanks to some new friends we went there to shower! read more

Love Mountain Breeze! I have been coming here for 12 years. They recently made a few upgrades to the facility too including painting the bathrooms, fixing the bathroom latches, putting new soap dispensers, and new shower curtains - which is all very important especially to women like myself who like camping but not overly roughing it! Prices are a little pricey - $20 overnight camp in overflow and $15 to float whether or not you have your own tube. However they have great amenities such as a volleyball court, bar onsite that has a pool table and a DJ outside at night or sometimes live music. You also do not have to pay for using the showers which a few campsites do make you. I've tried others but would recommend the extra 2.5 miles down River Road to stay at Mountain Breeze. read more

Love this place! I go here every year with a group of friends for a long weekend of fun fun and more fun! People who give this place a bad review and complain about it being impossible to sleep must just be a little too uptight. People come here to party, not to sleep! lol There are a lot of tents packed in there, but thats what makes it fun and allows you to meet lots of people. The tubing is awesome and just hanging out in the river in front of the camp is fun too! They usually have a great live band playing on Saturday nights and it is lots of fun with everyone dancing and singing along. I also have to mention that the breakfast tacos are awesome! They pack you pretty tight in at Mountain Breeze, but that seems to be par for the course for all the places along the river. They had lots of entertainment at night, but to be honest none of it was to my taste, but it seemed most of the camp disagreed because there were lots of people having a great time. The campground was clean, and everybody was courteous, but the river access wasn't especially nice, so I will probably try another place next time. read more

I was just highly disappointed in the campgrounds and I was embarrassed that I brought my friends (first time floaters) to this campground that I spoke so highly of. I have been to this campground a few times and have loved the experience every time! Now that being said... I am very disappointed in the campground this last trip we made, and I believe it will make me not want to return. The campground was covered in fuzzy web worms that have killed the trees, they were all over our campsite, crawling on us, falling out of the trees on us. I noticed that there were other campsites that didn't seem to be too affected by the worms. So I asked if we could moved sites due to no shade and the worms. They had plenty of available sites but they would not let us move and wanted to charge us double to get a different site. They do not enforce any kind of curfew rules.. Some how, a large group set up camp at 2am right next to us, blaring music and had a extremely large/bright light that was pointed straight into our tents. The group on the other side of us was smoking weed, it seemed that everywhere we went there was people smoking weed. The only time we really enjoyed the trip was when we were actually on the water. We will not be returning to this campgrounds and I hope that in the future Mountain Breeze can get the campgrounds cleaned up and actually care about their reputation. Positive note: *MOST of the staff were really friendly, positive, and happy. *The campgrounds is a really good location. We got dropped off up river, floated for about 3 hours, made it back to camp, ate lunch, and got back in the water and floated the rest of the float. *The bathrooms/showers were clean *The store was very reasonably priced. We had left few items at home so it was not to not be charged a ridiculous amount for foil/plates/ ect. *The Bar/Food was really good as well read more

I have had multiple great experiences here! The flag atop of trees welcomes you. I reserved a campsite riverside for my fiance bday wkend, the area is clean w electric, fenced off to keep order of campsites. The campground has showers, restrooms ,restaurant and bar. The staff is very welcoming. We had trouble w our tent on first night so we had to get a hotel the first day, then came back the next morning. The staff held our spot and gave us free tubes and a 6 hr float. Very very Helpful. Saturday night had a live band and country dancing. My fiance and I had a fabulous time. After work last Friday, some friends and I drove out from Dallas to New Braunfels for a weekend floating the river. We ended up deciding to come home the following afternoon, cutting our trip short by a day and a half. We arrived at the site just before midnight, but it could as well have been the middle of the day for how busy it was. One group near us kept their radio blaring until about 4am. Another had a bullhorn that they would use to scream and cuss at each other all night. We set up camp and got to sleep, only to be awakened at 7am by someone honking in the parking lot. It felt like we had set up our tents inside of a frat house. The river was fine. The showers were filthy and are in need of more than just an occasional cleaning. The shower and toilet stalls don't have locks. A separate bathroom facility was near our plot that looked like a condemned trailer where curtains were used for doors, and only reached halfway across each stall. Forget about washing hands--the faucet was covered in dead bugs, and no soap or towels were available. Of two toilets in that facility, only one flushed. When we called with questions, the girl who answered was rude and not very well informed. I would suggest booking elsewhere. read more

Please bare with the length of this review, it's definitely need to know. This was our first time at Mountain Breeze going tubing, We checked the website which read that the last shuttle picks up at 7pm, so we had planned to do the 3.5 hour float. There is a large sign directly above the check in desk that reads that they close at 7pm also. We were told that they close at 6pm by the front desk girl and that we would only be able to do the 2.5 hour float. Which we accepted and continued on, no big deal. The guys that got us our tubes, were very nice, the tubes were the black rubber ones, which after being on river for about an hour and burning my legs, I could understand why some of our party brought their own tubes. But none of the above has any reflection of why this tubing place only received ONE STAR. We accidentally missed our landing sight (it was confusing as to where we were supposed to exit)by .5 mile. So we walked back upstream with our tubes so we could get back to our pick up point, along the way we actually passed more MB tubers who said the pick up point was down the river where we actually thought it was, and that's where they were going, but we were making it a point to be courteous to the staff and make it back by 6. We called MB several times, but it just went to VM. We made it up the hill and was picked up by the MB Shuttle bus, where we profusely apologized for being late and thanked them for picking us up. They had 3 other people in the bus that they had also picked up and were shuttling back from another spot, so apparently we weren't the only ones coming back late. The driver seemed irritated and we tried to make the best of the last part of our awesome day. At some point during the ride his 'coworker' became very verbally aggressive, threatening and rude telling us "we didn't have to stop for you and you better tip the driver" this is something we naturally would have done without being RUDELY REMINDED IN A THREATENING MANNER. I made a joke trying to diffuse the situation that this wasn't looking very good for his Yelp Review, as a heads up. And someone else said his Customer Service skills were a little lacking. He BRAZENLY replied he was the MANAGER and didn't give a shit, he also threatened to drop us off at a destination that was not where our cars were parked against our will (isn't that considered KIDNAPPING, taking someone against their will to a not mutually agreed upon spot for no reason?). The cherry on top was when we were told to "SUCK a DICK". So our apologies to the bus driver that did not receive a tip from 4 of us after we were threatened and insulted, please collect it from your Customer Service Manager, he was the one that made us not tip at all. Btw, we made it back in before the officially posted closing time of 7pm, and the guy who received our rafts with long hair was very nice. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but when you made the decision to unprovoked scream in my face "the customer is not always right" you sealed the deal, that I probably was. There are several campgrounds to pitch a tent on River Rd but after finding Mountain Breeze Camp 26 years ago, I found my favorite. The main reason is the employees. The sites are spacious, room for a few tents at a time. The Guadalupe is a quick walk down the hill. You park your car in the field so there's more room for tents. They have cabins you can rent with AC as well as a few RV sites, but they go fast. The restrooms have upgraded from several years ago, the employees clean them as needed still, some people are just gross and don't pick up after themselves. Get a grip girls, you're embarrassing the rest of us. Tubing or rafting is great. You can shuttle up the river and float to or past MB. Or just jump in at MB. There are employees close by to ask questions as well as off duty police officers, I've always felt safe here. The employees are incredibly kind and thoughtful. The owner is the nicest person, if he can't accommodate your requests, he will find someone that can. I've met him and his daughters, sometimes the girls are working. And its definitely a family owned and run business that cares for its guests. When you camp there you become part of their extended family. Now, there is an overflow camping field, you check in and pay at the gate and you drive to a spot and put up a tent, I've always made reservations for the main campsites along the river though. On holiday weekends it can get pretty packed, I don't usually camp those weekends, but I did 25 years ago. And there's a band or DJ on most weekends during the summer, and food at the little grill. You can also purchase beer at the bar and there's a pool table and TV's to watch the sports you may be missing. There's sand volleyball to enjoy too. Overall, it's camping so expect to rough it a little bit. I love this place! read more

Admittedly, I used to be a fan of MBCG when I didn't know any better. Now that I've discovered better facilities in New Braunfels, I'm editing my review. My main beef with MBCG is the shower/restroom facility. It's old, run-down, and quite honestly, it's gross. MBCG makes tons of money during peak season. They're always sold-out on holiday weekends and people are packed in there like sardines. Surely, they have enough money to tear down that old bath shack and build a descent one that doesn't look like something from a third world country. I've been to MBCG four times and the only advantage they have is that they're right on the river. Last year, I discovered that there are several nice RV resorts in New Braunfels that are a short drive from the river. And they have NICE shower and restroom facilities THAT ARE KEPT CLEAN throughout the day. These are places that look like they actually re-invest some of their revenue back into the business instead of pocketing all of it. I have written a review on one of them. They aren't a campground per say. They're an RV resort, but they have nice cabins, a big swimming pool and excellent amenities. If you're desperate to camp right long the river, then MBCG is the place for you. But don't expect much else in the way of accommodations. I give this place two stars, because the employees are very nice and friendly. The owner wasn't a bad guy either. I just think he needs to not be so stingy and put some money into the place. I haven't been to MBCG since 2010, so if they have built new facilities, please let me know (with photographs) and I'll update or delete this review. read more

WOW! I have been commuting from Granbury on down to New Braunfels since I was a kid to float the Guadalupe. At least annually for my birthday. This year I was celebrating my 24th. Every year I try to stay in a different camp site just to keep things interesting. Fortunately, Mountain Breeze sparked my interest this year. I just cannot say enough about this place. We decided to float the Comal the moment we got into town, which then of course led to dinner and drinks in Gruene immediately after. We didn't get in until about 11:30 on a Saturday night, which I had made sure we were able to do so earlier that day. (midnight on Saturdays) Right upon our entrance we were greeted with a large group of people old and young enjoying a live band playing. The music was just the right kind of music that you want to hear out in the nature on the river drinking a cold beer.(Which you could purchase from the bar. Yes, they have a bar. That was the selling point for me.)We were instantly satisfied with our campground decision. There were a lot of people there that night, the camp looked as if it was at full capacity. There were people playing volleyball, guitars, washers, kids playing tag. It was pretty active at midnight, which was what I was hoping for. You might want to take this into consideration if you are seeking peace and quiet on the weekend. After getting wristbands and parking passes we drove down to our site to unload. The residents of the site next to ours had taken over our plot of land with a beer pong table. We were not offended in the least, as long as they would let us play a couple of rounds with them. Always fun to make river buddies. We played a few rounds, walked around the site, hung out and talked until about 1am. At that time, the camp had shut everything, (including the lights) off. I don't want this review to scare families away. It really did quieten down a lot when that happened. You just have to expect and understand the inevitable river rowdiness anywhere. About that time, our crew decided to lay down because we had a long float ahead of us in the morning. We woke up all feeling a little worn out from the previous day of floating, so we walked down to the office/bar/tube area and they were selling breakfast tacos. JACKPOT. No seriously, maybe it was because I was pretty hungover but those tacos were so ridiculously good. The tortillas were fresh and the green sauce that I had ignorantly doubted due to the neon green color was incredible. A perfect cure for the head. I saw they also offered lunch and dinner on the weekends. The tubing set up was pretty standard. I thought $18 a tube was preeeeetty steep since we were staying at the camp already, but it wasn't that big of a deal. The bus driver "Miller" was really sweet. The water was uncomfortably low, but we till managed to have a good time. That night (Sunday) we returned, after getting dinner at Los Cucos, to a virtually deserted park. We enjoyed the quiet time in the nature. I really want to stress, this place was awesome when it was quiet too. If that is what you prefer, perhaps consider staying on week days. Easier said than done, I know. Anyway, I think our yearly search is over. We are devoted to this sweet little family ran business. I highly recommend it! :] read more

We drove in from Dallas this past weekend for a Girl Talk Concert and had a great experience at MB. We booked the small cabin well in advance to ensure we had a place to stay after acquiring the concert tickets. As the weekend of our trip approached I had to make a change to our reservation. The office handled this without issue. We arrived Saturday late in the afternoon and the place was packed. We didn't spend much time there the rest of the day so I can't speak for any pros/cons regarding traffic on the river or noise levels from other campers. The camp grounds were fine and the staff was super helpful. That's all I could take away from that day. My wife and I manged to finally enjoy the camp on Sunday. What was once a packed camp ground with tons of 'party people' and campers had now become a ghost town. THIS WAS MAGICAL. We pretty much had the place to ourselves. It was so peaceful and the views were great. The river was fine for the most part although we had to walk a couple times (expected this). MB will take you to the river whenever you are ready to leave. While situating our cooler for the day, a large group came up and were ready to leave before us. We were told that we would have to wait about 20mins for the van to return since it was already packed (unfortunately this was my fault because weren't prepared to leave right away). The employee that set us up for the river, Aaron, saw us waiting, walked over and offered to take us out so we didn't have to hang around. Before this we were bummed because we were pumped to float and forget about life for a few hours so needless to say we were thrilled to be on our way- thanks, Aaron! Bathrooms/Washroom: The showers were what you would expect for a camp ground. You aren't staying at some hotel or anything so please adjust expectations accordingly and you'll be fine. The bathroom stalls did have doors that locked. Cabin: Our 10x12 cabin was equipped with a window unit, end table, and full size bed. Each cabin had a picnic table, grill, and one plastic chair. There were three electrical outlets provided as well. The cabin was clean, inexpensive, and worked nicely for a couple's getaway for the weekend. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at MB and would definitely recommend it to our family and friends. We had no issues with noise levels or other campers because we were pretty much the only ones there. Honestly, you can never be too sure how all of that will play out once you arrive so you can't really blame MB for a few bad apples. Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don't. If you want to separate yourself from the crowds of people packed in with their tents then look into checking out a cabin or stay at some motel/hotel in the city. read more

I've stayed at other campgrounds along the Guadalupe for years, but I have to say that Mountain Breeze may get my business from now on. The staff was helpful and friendly at check in, even allowing us to go look at a couple of sites before we paid. You have to remember- this isn't the Ritz Carlton and you are not camping in a pristine natural forest. This is "have fun for a weekend" style of camping. Yes it can be loud and there are lots of people partying, but overall its a lot of fun. If you complain about the bathrooms and showers here, I can give you a list of at least 4 other campgrounds on the river that make these look amazing. The campsite layout is great. The sites you can reserve are all near the river and close to the main office/bar/cafe. The cafe is ok, I only ate the breakfast tacos from there, but saw many people getting drinks and other items to eat. The bar/store was nice, ice wasn't too expensive and the beer selection wasn't bad! My biggest complaint was the DJ that played until midnight on Saturday. His music selection was awful. Also, if you are taking the shuttle to the Comal, and there is a big group, be prepared to wait a while. On the day we went, I would estimate there were about 40 or so going, and they had 3 short school buses to shuttle everyone. The tube place on the Comal had to call Mountain Breeze to come get us- I bet we waited almost an hour for them to show up. Leaving the campground was 45 min late, too. Had the potential to maybe be fun but was ghetto instead. We went during a holiday weekend last year thinking it would be a great way to social distance yet still be outside. Nope!!! Tents stacked on top of each other, filled to capacity and ghetto. There was no quiet time observed just loud music ALL day & night and the smell of weed from the people at the tent site above ours and all over the campground. Each night someone got into a fight and you could hear someone breaking glass bottles.... best thing was the concert but then the hoods had to turn their music up to try and drowned out the actual music. The restrooms smelled and were dirty. People treated them like there-own and left their crap all in them, hair on the walls included. Main female toilets by the restaurant were disgusting!!! One toilet was always clogged and full of poo. And the workers seemed bothered you would tell them. Not sure if I would go back except to score some weed if I ever start smoking. read more

The fam & I have been coming here for years. Staff is always friendly. Now that we have children I appreciate that it's a family friendly place as well, with volleyball etc. Wish they allowed dogs as I know our little Yoko would LOVE to come with us on these trips. Was a little surprised on our last visit at how dirty the ladies restroom was (come on ladies, we can clean up after ourselves better than that!) but overall, love this place and will continue choosing mountain breeze for our tubing/camping trips! read more

Really nice campground right along the river. Tent camping was spacious, restrooms were clean, and the crew that runs this place does it right! Very friendly and no waiting on the bus! I wish I could give this 0 stars. Back in 2018 I came to mountain Breeze and had an okay time with a few friends while we tented. This year me and a group of 8 came last weekend to try to give it another chance. We first get there at 8 AM. The place was already PACKED because there was an event going on that I had no idea about. I called 4 times before we got there like the week before to confirm our reservations and what not and no one decided to tell us about this even going on that included over 890 people on this camp site. Me and my friends reserved a spot on one of the sites so we could get electricity. When we got there - trash everywhere in our spot, the trash can in our spot was filled to the top (The never changed it and we were there for 2 full days), another tent had taken one of our plugs already and when i made the reservation, they promised a spot directly on the river but that did not happen. They also do not enforce the rule of curfew. There was loud obnoxious music until 445 in the morning. (Not exaggerating) So no sleep. The bathrooms were so nasty and packed. It was never cleaned because the whole weekend none of the bathrooms had toilet paper. Also on Saturday night a group of girls went into the men's restroom with their boyfriends. My boyfriend had to sadly witness it. He told an employee that worked there and he did nothing. The worst part about our experience was Friday night while we were on the river we get back from the driver picking us up and the lady points us out to everyone and says for us not to grab our tubes because we are in trouble for not paying. When we all came last year we did not have to pay to be picked up on a 5 min bus ride. ($20 each day ) The man held our tubes and screamed at me while I was trying to explain my confusion to him and he said that he has worked here for 13 years and that he did not "give a fuck about what happen last year" my boyfriend walked up to him an got upset because the way he was talking to me and the guy said if you have a problem "yall can pack yalls shit and leave". We had the money to pay it but we were more upset that no one told us anything about having to pay 20 dollars for a 5 min bus ride and the way they were speaking to us. It was so disrespectful and I will never go back. If you are looking for a good time go to Lazy L&L. Cheaper, better workers. read more

I have stayed here several times and have thouroughly enjoyed it each time. I've stayed at other places along the Guadalupe but this one is my favorite. Once there was even a band playing which really added to the experience. The surrounding water, trees, and "mountain" are a beautiful site. I liked the staff, they were friendly and fun. Awesome place! Lots of room for camping, electric hook ups availible, cabins, showers, lighted sand volleyball court, very friendly people and atmosphere. Bring the family fora day of tubing or just playing and hanging out in the river.The owner Paul Rich is a very nice guy. Book all your events now, you will want to book in advance at some times during the year, it gets pretty busy. Lots of fun and great prices! read more

Very happy with the atmosphere at this place. I have been to several campgrounds in the area over the past 20 years, and I am so glad to have found these guys. Weekends are great here for an adult style getaway. I enjoy the fact that they do not drive around shushing people at 10:00. Love the bands on Saturday nights. Would do a family vacation here during the week, but when the weekend comes, it's time to get the kiddos out of there. Friendly staff, decent bathroom facilities. Only complaint would be lack of an rv dumping station. read more

Went there with a big group of friends and I plan to come back.. The staff is very sweet and friendly. On top of that it is a lot of FUN: live music, camping, grilling and floating the Guadalupe River. It doesn't get better than that. read more
