The employees were happy to help me immediately, understanding how important balloons are for celebrating meaningful milestones. While the balloons were being prepared, AMIR, the manager, rudely scolded and disciplined the woman helping us at the balloon desk, telling her she can't take any balloon orders greater than 1-2 without a prolonged wait of hours. A sense of urgency to assist a customer during a meaningful and time-sensitive situation should never be met with harsh discipline on the store floor in front of peers and clients, especially when she was unfairly scolded for doing her best at her customer-facing job.
