My daughter found this poke place because she had cravings. Told me all about it and even brought some back for me to taste. Right on! I had a day off and we visited here with 2 friends. The restaurant is just how I would expect from back home. Local vibe with Maoli music in the background. Did not get to wala'au with them much because they stay busy. Hopefully next time. I got the special of the day: Mochiko Chicken. Man, I haven't had that or made it for a minute! OG poke's mochiko chicken was on point and hit the spot! Any local would rate restaurants based on the mac salad. I say that this one is the only one in Eugene that is 10/10. The poke was good too. We had the shoyu and spicy mayonnaise. I saw they get kimchee crab (none available that day) and limu. That's my favorite. I need to come back and get some next time. For dessert: butter mochi and the lilikoi cheesecake. Food still tasty, service still friendly. They have "nachos" on their menu which are apparently fried wontons, not corn chips, and not gluten-free. They still don't offer water unless bottled, so if you have pills to take with food, heads up on that. You can get various poke's by the lb to go so that's fun if you are having a party or big family meal at home. read more

Stopped in today for the second time to try the special " creamy gochujang" and absolutely blew me away it was the perfect amount of spicy and a tiny bit sweet! The fish was so so fresh (and a great price for the quality) and the environment was super welcoming with good music!! I came here after seeing they opened a location in Eugene and recognizing them from Portland. I got 1/4 pound of the spicy avo poke and a spam musubi. Both came out to 13$. The poke was very soft and had a great flavor. Not too spicy. I wasn't sure where the avocado was though, maybe in the sauce. Employees were very nice and welcoming. Some tables inside. Desserts looked really good I didn't get any though. Overall this is definitely a high quality poke spot that is pricy but worth it if you really like poke. When we heard that there was a new poke place in town, my wife and I knew we had to try it. We tried the Spicy Aioli, the Shoyu Limu (both tuna), and the Hawaiian Tako (octopus). Admittedly, the bowls felt a bit expensive, but we could taste the quality of the fish, and the portion sizes were healthy. We definitely didn't feel like we were ripped off. Upon entering, we were greeted warmly by the staff, and they kindly explained their offerings and gave excellent recommendations. We'll be back! read more

The food was incredible! I got the 20 dollar poke bowl which gets you 2 scoops rice, 2 scoops poke & 1 side. It's only 4 dollars more than the small size and you get 1 scoop of rice & 1 scoop of poke more, so...good deal! I unfortunately cannot remember the names of the poke I got but it was amazing. The BEST poke in Eugene!! (I know. I've tried the others) I came in for their soft opening and was greeted by the friendliest staff and owner. They took the time to chat with me and talk about their poke. I ordered their large bowl with Teri ginger, spicy avo furi, and the spicy aioli with the pickled cucumber and spicy crab and broccoli salad as my sides. ZERO COMPLAINTS. Aloha my braddah's . Loved talking story with you guys before our 3 year road trip across the rest of the 45 states. Poke bowl- picked the following 3 poke types. The Shoyu Limu was my son's absolute favorite. The simplicity of this one was perfect. The fish couldn't have been anymore fresh unless we were back home in HI. Only thing he wished that was with this one was raw onions but that's his preference. The Hawaiian was so Ono and the siracha aioli was super spicy but so good. He gave it a 9/10 (10/10 is only in HI lol). The sweet cucumbers & seaweed salad was delicious . I loved it and so did my son (who doesn't like veggies). Japanese Pot Roast with Curry plate - the pork is so tender it just falls apart in my mouth. The curry was there and no overwhelming. Mac salad I know the butter mochi and POG cheesecake will be winnah! And the Hawaiian Sun juices completes the meals. The service was fantastic . The staff made me feel as if I was back home ordering food from there. The ALOHA spirit in this place reaches all the way home and back! Ambiance - nice clean place. Easy to figure out what the options are (too may good things to choose from). I the paint story about the original sign. But that's us Hawaiian. Nothing goes to waste! This place is legit! Everything we tried was 'ono (delicious). The poke is fresh, the plate lunch specials are good and don't forget to grab a dessert option from Cookies & Goodies! We had the chantilly cake and it's just like home. We're kanaka from Maui and we recommend! I have to say that we tried it when it first opened and was not impressed. When you get there, you are able to sample any of the options to know what you're getting. Prices seemed a lil high at first, but the scoops are generous. I'm normally a "super large" size guy but I got a medium bowl and I'm stuffed. Fish quality was superb, i like how they marinate all of their protein options instead of mixing it with the sauce to order or just pouring sauce on top. Rice was good, not sushi rice though if you're expecting that. Just plain warm white rice. Seaweed salad is perfect, and the crab/broccoli salad is perfect as well. Don't expect the slop bowl like you get at those other poke chains. Instead of loading your bowl with a bunch of sides and sauce, it's a lot less ingredients that are much more quality and satisfying. Guava cheesecake smackin too! The Poké was so ono, I went back in for more after sampling in the car. Fish quality was top notch, and so was the classic Hawaii style O.G. preparations. This is Poké like how you get it in Hawai. This is not the mainland style poké salad. The service was great too. It's hard to choose between so many great poké options, but they were patient with me, explained the options and differences, pointed out which ones contained my allergens, and even shared with me a little bit about their story. I love this place! I've gone there close to closing a few times, and they've still had a good selection of delicious choices, and the staff have been really helpful!
