Granted, I've only rented two apts prior to this, but my current unit is easily better. Firstly, the building/unit is very well kept. It's spacious enough for 1-2 people but still cozy, the amenities (dishwasher, washer/dryer, parking) are great to have, maintenance is rarely needed but very quick, & the rent is very reasonable for what you get. There is a reason the building I'm in has been full for several years now. Additionally, the entire TEJ staff have been nothing but great. There is always a quick response to any inquiries, and everyone I've interacted with has been very kind. Unlike the big rental companies in the area I've actually met the landlord and owner, and it's nice to put a face to a name. I recently was up to renew my lease (with a small but realistically fair rent increase) and there was zero doubt in my mind about staying in my unit. I've been very happy with my experience over the last five years and highly recommend renting through them.

The appliances are 4th rate, like the fans in the kitchen and bathroom don't really work. They refused to put railings on the stairs. The communication with them (when they respond) is very threatening! It's been a horrible experience. He reneged on my yearly lease, using disappearing emails - because he knows he's a liar and a thief. Why else would he use emails that vanish?? He knows he's a liar and a thief. He charges $200 a month for my rent to come through their portal - nothing could be more convenient for them, but they are greedy bullies. I've been an easy tenant, but he's been nothing but rude and greedy. I'm sorry I ignored the other bad reviews - which seem to disappear like his emails haha! TLDR avoid them like the plague! Which they might give you, because they refuse to wear masks in my home, despite my being disabled.

Next, I received the forms that I needed to complete for her to handle my property. After the paperwork was completed, Sue went to work. She contacted my tenants (after I let them know that she would be calling) to arrange for a walk through. Sue made recommendations to me regarding items that should be addressed to make the property more attractive to potential renters. Next she contacted service people for me to get estimates. If she received an estimate that she thought was out of line, she made additional contacts. The most important thing to me is that she found a qualified tenant to rent my property very quickly.
