Got to spend time with the sister because she's on winter break and this is a great way to capture memories with loved ones. There's a dedicated photo session, two regular photo booths, and a high angle photo booth. They also have a bunch of charms which is cool. You do get the photos same day. When we got out of the trial class and walked toward our car, we noticed this cool place that looked designerly and fun, so we poked our head in. Right away, the staff greeted us and had us come in to have a look. My son was immediately attracted to the cute robots and the cool set up in the room. One of the instructors started showing him how to program the robots to move, to aim, to throw a ball - that was so much fun! I was shocked I wasn't aware of this place at all (being a proud South Bay mom who "should" be aware of all kids related places..) The manger Cara said the place had only been opened for a month or so. I guess in a way, it was good it wasn't well advertised, because my son was able to attend the group lesson with just a couple of kids for the price of a group lesson. The class is 90 minutes (younger class is 60 min), perfect length for me to go to a local gym for my workout and back. The manger is also quite accommodating with our schedule and offered us different times for him to catch up after we got back from our vacation. There are a couple of other coding schools in the South Bay, but for little kids, this is a lot more fun. I highly recommend Magikid to parents who want their little ones to get interested in coding and robotics.

They work really hard to provide a soothing, safe space for everyone. Nothing but positive vibes, free use of everyone's pronouns and small businesses selling their wares. There's ample parking and most of the events cost around $5. I attended a paint and sip which was about $35, but we sampled about seven different wines. So worth it. I signed up for the twerking class. It was fun, but be prepared for them to teach a full choreographed routine. I was NOT ready! Don't think I'll be returning to that one. But, there's generally something with cool vibes on Saturday night. I started following one of the performers on IG. I'm pretty sure she's gonna be a big success.
