This place has so many different cheesecake options that you might need a few minutes to pick one and probably get recommendations from the people We ordered the lemon cheesecake which had a classic lemon taste, and really hit the spot. I also got the passionfruit cheesecake which was out of this world. The bakery itself is pretty small and there are only a few places to sit, but the cheesecake slices themselves are circular and just enough for you to get a decent taste without overdoing it. Now, they have 2 locations on Commercial drive and in Port moody. I got several kinds of cheese cakes for Thanksgiving gathering. What we got: Classic Vanilla, Espresso, Earl grey, Mango, Passion fruits, Pumpkin spice, Chocolate, Houjicha, Birthday, Salted caramel, oreo, Peanut butter, It was good deal - buy 5 get 1 free. I could not have all flavor, Most of them went to other guest. I got Houjicha, and a little bit of salted caramel. Texture was as always rich and firm. I felt flavor was a bit weak for houjicha, still it was very delicious. Salted caramel was great, strong caramel flavor. I really enjoyed their cheesecake! I had one that had blueberries on top and it was amazing. I usually am not huge on cheesecake but I found this one to be sooo good. When this cheesecake shop first started a few years ago, I came here and ordered a couple of cheesecakes. They tasted okay. Cheesecakes were cheesecakes. After a few years, I had their cheesecakes again and hoped that their quality would be better or something would have been improved. Looking at the shop, it has more varieties now. It is great! I had their cookies with different flavours this time. They didn't have them when they first started. They tasted excellent but cookies are not their main focus. Cheesecakes are! I tried their mango and matcha cheesecake. The mango cheesecake tasted fine however the matcha one had a weird flavour. If I compared it with really good matcha cheesecakes from different pastry shops in Lower Mainland, this one from Oh Sweet Day was way OFF!! They definitely need improvement on the matcha cheesecake. Its presentation looked good but missing the points on the flavour. This shop also has bigger cheesecakes other than the individual small ones. The pricing is reasonable but nothing has motivated me to order any cakes from them at this point unfortunately. read more

The food was very good, I personally recommend the Oreo and Peanut Butter small personal cheese cakes. The staff was really friendly and welcoming, left the bakery with a smile! This is actually my second or third time coming here but finally decided to leave a review. One of my favourite places for cheesecake in Vancouver and I really enjoy their Asian inspired flavours. I ordered the vegan & gluten-free mini lemon cheesecake, as well as the dark chocolate, via Uber Eats. For just $6.50 each, you get a more than enough sized cheesecake for one person, which can easily be served between two or three people. The texture of both cakes were quite light and more of a mousse than a cheesecake, but what's most pleasant is that it doesn't leave you feeling too heavy after a slice. As for the crust, it reminded me of middle eastern styled desserts with its nutty flavour and more crunchy than soft texture. The lemon cheesecake did have a bit of an odd taste to me initially. There was something I couldn't quite pinpoint about it that just sort of threw me off. Mixing it with the whipped cream atop seemed to balance it out, though. The dark chocolate cheesecake, I did prefer more. The filling had a very subtly sweet taste that went well when combined with the rest of the dessert as a whole. If you're eating this at home, pair it with a side of freshly sliced strawberries! For the price, you're getting a very filling dessert that'll satisfy any lingering cravings for something sweet, and since it's a slightly big piece for one person, you can put it away for a little breakfast treat the next day. We both got the ginger lemon tea, which is probably the best and strongest tea of this combination that I've had. It was pretty pricey, as are all the treats as well. I also chose the earl grey cookie, which was just ok to be honest. I didn't even finish it. The coconut cake was a generous slice and again not too sweet or overloaded with icing. The tarts were yummy too! The standout desserts are the cheesecake and cake. I called in yesterday at 1pm & order a birthday day cake for my grandmother. The lady on the phone said there's 3 cakes left for me to choose from....OREO cake. Red velvet & coconut. I thought I lucked out & ordered the coconut cake. The lady highly recommended the coconut! They asked for my credit card to hold the cake. I asked also for them to write HB grandma on the cake but the lady said they will do the writing with chocolate on the small board. Upon arriving, saw the cake that I ordered was nice but the HB wording truly disappointed me. This cake was not cheap, at $42, you couldn't do a better job. Even Safeway could do better!!!! I asked the guy that served us if we can get the pistachio raspberry cake instead cause it's easier to write HB on & on top of that the lady on the phone said they weren't baking anymore cakes for remainder of the day. The guy flat out said NO!!! I said the wording on the cake can be easily be removed. He said no again & told me to come back next time & order the raspberry cake!! I really don't think so after that display, lack of service with that attitude. Why? You think Your bakery is the only bakery in town?! No customer service & not being able to accommodate a simple switch over?!?! If the wording was on the cake permanently, I can simply understand. You are forcing me to buy something that was done poorly which the cake is highlight of the night's dinner! I had just ate a bunch of pastries at The Bench Bakehouse, so I only got some shortbread as I loved those last time and a chocolate ganache tart, which I've been dying to try. This is a nice little bakery with a few seatings. They are specialized in cake, tarts, cookies and cupcakes. Got 2 mini cheesecake, lemon and peanut. They are a medium soft cheesecake but for my taste, it would be better if they are a tad less sweet, as for the lemon, more taste of lemon and a bit more sour would be nice, the peanut one was quiet good even though it is a bit too sweet.
