I went to the Starbucks around 11:00 this morning. Unfortunately I can't remember her name but she made the best soy latte that I've had in a long time from starbucks. And she was pretty funny and too. The barista @ register (I don't remember her name either, unfortunately, was very helpful in helping me choose the food to go with my drink. I ended up with the tall soy latte, extra shot, extra hot and Matcha Strawberry Pound Cake. Which was delicious. The baristas are always kind, patient, and efficient. The store is clean both inside and out, and the drive-thru is impressively fast. This Starbucks looks extra tiny from the outside, it is small inside, but not too bad. The wifi is not the best here, which is surprising because I do not have much problem at their other locations with their internet connection. The employees are not all that friendly/welcoming either. I usually either get the Iced Matcha Tea Latte or the Matcha Green Tea Frappuccino. This place is hit and miss . I have ordered from here with success but also a high rate of failure compared to other Starbucks. The reason why we all love Starbucks is because of the consistency and quality. This time I had a simple strawberry frap and they didn't try very hard and it was super icy. This is the only Starbucks between Lodi and Stockton where I get my cup-a joe. Most of the other ones are out of this and out of that. Really grinds my beans, especially in the morning (don't even talk to me before I've had my coffee). If I need to stay up then I go here at night and there's kind of a ditsy blonde at the drive though that is SO kind and every time she's there the coffee is splendid. Not only that but when you ask for extra cold foam in the pumpkin cold brew she really packs it full! My wife likes the oat milk shaken expresso from them but I stay away when she orders extra cinnamon. The cinnamon can be so spicy it cleans my clock! This Starbucks consistently favors speed/sales over quality service/drinks. Which, actually, is ironic as it makes the service so much slower. Ordered a venti cinnamon dolce latte, the whip cream (what little there was) sank almost immediately and left about 4 inches of the cup empty BEFORE I drank anything. This is a neat Starbucks. It's a special store setup by Corporate to see how awful that can make the experience before people stop coming. I love experiments in food service and it was an absolute delight to experience the lowest possible effort and service from an international brand. My only complaint is the lack of gift shop where I could of bought an "I've been to the worst Starbucks" t-shirt, oh well, I'm sure they'll be plenty more buxtastrophes down the road. read more

I don't know what happened but this Starbucks has gone downhill. Service has been terrible the last few times I have visited. I have stood at the cashier (no one in front of me or in back of me) for 10 minutes waiting for someone to take my order. I understand how service may be slower if they are limited staff and the drive through line may be long, but with over 6 people behind the counter, it is ridiculous having to wait so long just to order. With that being said the service has not only become slower but also less friendly. Once I was finally acknowledgedly, the barista impatiently took my order with barely even a smile. The first time this happened, I thought that I had just come on a bad day but this has consistently happened for the last 3 visits. I remember, pre-pandemic, this Starbucks used to be nice and pleasant. Post-pandemic, it really worsened. My friend and I like to meet there once a week for a one hour conversation, but lately, it has become difficult to do that. You walk into the store and the music is playing so loudly that you think you've walked into a night club. I politely asked the barista, who attended me, if she could lower the volume of the music. She had a distraught look on her face when I asked her. So, I told her if she could lower the volume a bit. A bit she lowered the volume...just a bit. The music was still playing loudly. When she lowered the volume, another barista turned around and shouted at the first barista, "Why did you lower it!!!???" Obviously, the second barista got upset about the volume being lowered. So, my friend and I were conversing and trying to hear what we were saying to each other. My friend, who is eighty years old couldn't tolerate the loudness of the music anymore so she went to the first barista and politely asked her if she could lower the volume of the music. The barista replied that she had already done it. My friend asked if she could lower it more because we couldn't hear our conversation. While this was happening, the second barista stopped in her tracks to listen to what my friend was saying. She reacted by having this look of discuss and disappointment as she nodded her head side to side. As I mentioned, my friend is eighty years old, and it's just harder for her to hear and shout. We just requested that the volume be turned down for one hour. Apparently, it seemed like a huge sacrifice and inconvenience to the baristas, especially the second one with her upset look on her face. They should know that they work at a café, not a night club or an Abercrombie and Fitch! People do go there for socializing and conversation. That's why there are tables and chairs in their store. It was just one hour of music playing at a lower volume, then they could put it back to rock concert level. read more

I usually go through the drive-thru but today I did a mobile order while I was at Chase next door. I went into Starbucks and used the restroom, to find out there wasn't anymore toilet paper! :( I tend to find that Starbucks usually has clean restrooms compared to other fast food/restaurants. Not true for this location. I ordered the new unicorn frappuccino through the mobile app. My order went through and money taken out of my card. When I went to the counter and asked for my mobile order, the barista told me they ran out of the ingredients for the drink. She asked if I would like something else. I said no, I'd like a refund. What a waste of my time, what if I had gone out of my way to stop by Starbucks? Luckily I was just next door. I did get a refund back on my card, but was not offered anything else. Baristas should be able to somehow update the app on which drinks are unavailable at their location. Yes, I understand it was the first day of the unicorn frappuccino. This week starbucks released their limited edition holiday cups to all starbucks locations. Everyone knows that when this happens all cups sell out and become hard to find. With that being said i had most cold cups but was missing only one. I called most starbucks in my area and i was either lied to or given wrong information on purpose. I get it these holiday releases are crazy and i started to notice some employees lie so that you don't go to their location to get the cups or they just act like they will "see if they have it" but simply don't even look and will tell you they don't have anything so that you dont go. Today while on my hunt for the last cup for my collection i called this starbucks location to see if they had the cup that i needed & i spoke to "nina or neena" and she was kind enough to look and see if this starbucks had it and sure enough she said yes it was there. Thank you Nina for being honest & seeing if you had it i really appreciate it! You represent starbucks well & are great with customer service! You made my day with helping me complete my collection of the starbucks holiday cups!
