*DON'T DO IT - YOU'VE BEEN WARNED* Michael was hired to "professionally clean" our 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and shampoo/vacuum/steam our carpet on 12/3/2019 at 9am but he came about 15 mins late. Whatever, it was fine. He initially quoted me $375-$425 on yelp but after our initial walk through he changed the quote to $492.15 because he didn't know our living room and hall way had carpet. Ok whatever, that's fine too. I just needed the place cleaned out. At the final walk through, he did his little calculation on his phone and quoted me $497.xx Kitchen: Micheal strategically cleaned out specific drawers/cupboards in my kitchen so that when we did the final walk through, he knew exactly which drawers to open to make like he actually cleaned. He told me he cleaned behind my fridge to which he did not do. He did not sweep or mop my kitchen floor and he left stains on my counter top (see picture). He states there was "roach infestation" and wasn't able to clean certain areas of the Kitchen but per the Terminators that we hired, there wasn't any activities (unnecessary money we spent believing Michael and his lies). Bathroom: This dude left under our bathroom sink untouched, left the bathtub faucet with soap scums, the toilet still had the toilet ring. The toilet itself was just wiped on the top but he left the sides and bottom untouched. Also left the bathroom floor as is, no sweeping and/or mopping. He strategically stood in the middle of the bathroom (our bathroom isn't that big) and explained everything so I was not able to get in and get a good look on everything he claimed he "cleaned" (see pictures). Carpet: This one pissed me off. This guy literally just put water on my carpet and ran his vacuum over it. He did not steam, shampoo or put any stain solution on it. I know this because we had to get another guy come in and do what Michael was suppose to do. *GO SEE EXCELLENCE CARPET - YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED* And he told us Michael did not do any of the above. When I did my walk through with Michael, I asked him about some stains on the carpet and he said "Yeah, I tried to get it off but it just wouldn't" - so funny he said that because when he left my husband scrubbed it off with a bottle cap and the stain came right off. Also, my two closets in the unit had carpet in them and this guy did not have the decency to at least vacuum the insides. Overall this guy and company is a SCAM!! Please please please don't hire these guys. I saw 2 previous bad reviews but I went with him anyway because he quoted me the least (ha!). I initially begged Michael to give us a refund back on our carpet or at least come back and re-do it but he said he asked his service manager and they are unable to do carpet refunds. It is funny he said because on yelp it says he is the owner. LOL Michael reached out to me after my Husband posted a review. All of the sudden he can do carpet refunds now, he requested that my Husband take off his review and he will refund us back $120 from our $497. He said he will only give me half of this $120 back AFTER I sign 'removal waiver with yelp' so no further can be posted. I told Michael he can keep my $120 and I'll write my review so that hopefully no one else can fall for his scamming ways. It was definitely a hard lesson to learn especially since it is the holidays and I have little kids to buy presents for. P.s Michael - Wish you and your family a Merry Christmas. Hope you buy them something nice with my $497 dollars. UPDATE: These pictures are my pictures and they are not meant for "black mailing" but to simply prove that Michael did such a bad job. I don't care about how much Mike quoted me. It is the service that you provided that I am dissatisfied with. And yes, please have Yelp review my account. STAY AWAY. Should have checked yelp before jumping. Hired them for move out cleaning. The owner threatened to call the police over a $80 dispute. Why? Because my mother and I questioned why we were charged an extra $80 for accepting help with two small boxes movers had left behind. The worker offered and she accepted, thinking it was part of the "aloha" spirit the company apparently has. Nope. Turns out it was for the upcharge and suddenly they're saying my mother asked for help and that the price was agreed to? Sketchy gaslighting, check. They took the charge off the bill but still leaves a bad taste in my mouth considering how they threatened to call the police, the apartment manager, and my rental manager and also did such a poor job with the windows that my mother had to ask them to wipe down the window sill during the walkthrough. I'm grateful that that request didn't result in a $50 surcharge. Update for clarity and accuracy. You'd think for $80, they took the box to our new place, her car, or even a few feet. Nope again. The worker moved the box from a countertop to my mother's trolley right below the counter. During the walkthrough she also pointed out that the cabinet doors had not been wiped down. The cleaners said that it was hard to get off, like it was grease or something. My mother could wipe off the stain with a wet finger. The cleaners then wiped the cabinet doors with a clorox wipe no problem. During walkthrough with the landlord and "did you pay for someone to clean? Can you get a refund?" Question came up multiple times (definitely a question I want to hear after paying someone $550 to clean) because the widows and screens weren't cleaned or even touched. Sure was billed for it though and the invoice says I paid for window cleaning. My mother and I had to go back and clean the windows, screens, counters, and floors to get our deposit. read more

Overall amateurs. At first glance my unit looked clean. When you start opening cabinets and looking at surfaces you start seeing the inattention to detail. Still found stains on countertops and debris and dust in cabinets. Glad we didn't leave a bigger tip. read more

Very grateful he felt it was "the honorable thing to do" to refund us after seeing the picture and video evidence of job (not) done. This guy is full of shit.. he charged us $497 for a shitty job. We hired him to "professionally" cleaned our place before we moved but overall really bad. Only wiped down inside cabinets and walls. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! I hired this company for an apartment clean out on 4/25. The owner wasn't able to do a walk-through when the guys finished but the few things I found they addressed before leaving. The next day, 4/26, the property manager found several areas that were missed. We both reached out to the owner and when I did hear back from Michael, he advised he would reach out to the property manager. $250 was withheld from my security deposit because of this. I spoke with the property manager on Friday May 31st (3 weeks since speaking to the owner) and was advised that he has not heard from the owner despite numerous attempts at contacting him so he will have to arrange his own cleaning. I am no longer in Hawaii or I would file a small claims suit. I don't recommend them. read more

I really didn't want to give this review but Michael Newmeyer really has given me the run around. I called & talked to him about 6 weeks ago for some stores I needed PM & handyman work done on. He assured me he could do the work, sounded excited and was going to knock them out. Since, I have called repetitively & he tells me most of them are done, he's had people out sick, they just need to get photos, he'll send everything to me as soon as he gets to the office lastly he doesn't answer his phone anymore and his voicemail is full. I don't care if you don't want my work but don't lie to me. I had to hire someone else to do the work, I won't deal with this company again. Great service!! I asked for a move-out cleaning service for a four bedroom two bath home that was over 1,000 sq ft, upstairs unit, has a lot of windows, and mostly carpet. I got a great deal compared to other estimates and a guaranteed warranty that if my property management wasn't satisfied they would come back! I don't think they will have a problem though because the house looked great during the walk through! Hard working guys with a funny/friendly sense of humor. Extremely trust worthy and had clear easy communication the entire process! I was very pleased with the employees and the owner of Ohana Ground Operations... they came to our prior home yesterday to do a deep clean for our move out inspection. They did a really wonderful job cleaning the place up and taking it to the next level. I'm feeling very confident we are going to get our full rental deposit back. I've hired Mike twice now, to clean my apt. He charged a reasonable price and did a great job! My shower stall times collect a rust stain in the corner and he was able to get it out. He polished the stainless and made the granite countertops glisten! He even moved some of the furniture to sweep under it and then put it back, bc I had just taken down my Christmas Tree and there were tree needles everywhere and furniture had to be moved back into place, which he helped me with. I needed move out cleaning on a Sunday. Mike and his crew did a fabulous job. They removed limescale and even brought the stove top to pristine condition. Hesitate to give five stars just because there were spots on the floor in the downstairs half bath. I missed it during the walk through and it was an easy fix.
