This is really more like a 3.5 star review. I booked these guys based on these reviews and i didn't have a stellar experience. Firstly I think I accurately quoted our box count and the stuff we had to the manager, he said 6 hours "hopefully not longer" it was 9, and it was only 9 because we complained and they brought in 3 (three!!!) more guys to help. We moved 900 sq fr 2 beds 2 bath to a 3 story townhouse. They all worked hard, the super young guy really worked super hard. I'm still unsure why the move took so long, but it did. It took us 4 hours to move into that apartment and almost 10 with drive time to move out. Overall not a terrible Experience but I wouldn't book them again. Side note: they didn't break anything and beyond one guy getting sick and defecating in our bathroom (Guess people gotta go) they were all nice. read more

Not a good experience at all. Couldn't get the movers to talk to me when I chatted with them- they just kept giving me weird looks. That part doesn't matter though. I only had them move a couple items mid August. My bed/frame, coffee table, couch, and a recently purchased 81" cat tree. They broke my cat tree in 2 spots by trying to fold it into my U Haul for some reason and also ripped a section off. This cat tree is not meant to fold. They could've unscrewed the parts sticking out instead of shoving it in. There was also plenty of space in my U Haul so I have no idea why they shoved it in. They also ripped my bed frame. Instead of telling me about what happened, they just left as soon as they were done with no acknowledgment on what they did. read more

Chris Yee stood me up. I lived in a condo building in the Pearl District that had strict regulations on moves. I was required to hire a move specialist to monitor the move so that no walls, floors, elevators were damaged. $350 non-refundable without at least 24 hours notice. I called Chris 3 days before the move and told him a snow storm was projected for the day of our move and asked if we needed to reschedule. This was winter of 2021. He assured me "no rain, sleet or snow stops his guys". The morning of, he calls and canceled because of "rain, sleet and snow". I had to vacate that day for the buyer and feverously had to find a new mover for the same day that could operate in "rain, sleet and snow". He is extremely unprofessional and unreliable. We hired them when the original team was unavailable and called others companies who were either closed or not available until Mid-August. Chris called me back promptly after I left a message. Once he knew the details of our unload, he went to work on getting a crew together for us. He called me again and was all set. Monday came and the team showed up on time, as promised and dove right in. My wife directed where things went, and my daughter and I pitched in as well. We had a 26' truck unloaded in a little over two hours! What impressed me about the team of Matt, Derrick and Ryan is they were all hard working, friendly, courteous and professional. They broke nothing and never complained about moving the heavy items. I found Chris through Yelp and he was the BEST local mover with whom I've ever worked. Having used large inter-state companies for complete long distance moves and several local company for in-city moves, Chris' company exceeded all previous experiences. All the other local moving companies seemed to employ guys off the street with no moving experience, which was obvious with the lack of care provided. Chris hires some pretty strong guys, all athletic and all well-trained. They are fast. Wow! I was exhausted just watching them work, and we had two very steep flights of stairs. Not a single complaint. I've since referred Chris to my sister who had a very good experience as well.
