I called both companies and Eric, the owner/operator of this company, gave me a quick quote over the phone that easily beat the competition. I'm usually skeptical about someone bidding low on a job but Eric was professional and assuring over the phone. On delivery day, he and his partner were on time, pleasant to work with and took great care with my home and the pieces. They put everything together and hauled all the trash away. It was difficult getting it up the stairs and around a u-turn into our bedroom, but the guys solved the problem quickly, confirmed with us that the rug was in the right position, and took away all the packaging. I would rate this company 6 stars if I could. Alex and his team were INCREDIBLE!! We were doing a small move from a one-bedroom apartment to a duplex just 10 minutes away. After sending out multiple requests on Yelp to several different moving companies, Erick (the owner) contacted me personally within 5 minutes and gave me precise price estimates and rates with a couple options. We decided to go with a team of 3 movers for 2 hours. What makes this company different is they are so personable! I am currently 7 months pregnant and ended up in the hospital the day we had scheduled their help. Just as my husband was about to call, they called to check in with us! He told them about the situation and they immediately rescheduled with us for early the next morning. The owner sent me an email with our payment receipt and added he hoped I was feeling better, and one of the guys asked me how I was doing when they showed up. When they came for our stuff, they arrived early and we were able to track their location via text that was sent with an estimated arrival window. They first listened carefully, protected our front door with blankets, and got to work! They wrapped all of the furniture well with blankets to protect it. They asked us when they were unsure of something, and double checked they had gotten everything. When they got to our new place, they protected the flooring where it was unfinished with cardboard and blankets to cushion the edges so they wouldn't get chipped up. They unloaded quickly and it was done EXACTLY on time! All 3 guys interacted with us in a professional, friendly, and diligent manner. Amazing service!! I worked with Andres to set up a furniture delivery. He was very pleasant and accommodating. The night before, I received a call with a 3-hour delivery window. The day of delivery, I received a call letting me know that the driver was ahead of schedule and that I could expect delivery 30 minutes before the delivery window, if that would be ok. Twenty minutes before the driver got here I received a text message letting me know the driver's name and his ETA. Ten minutes later, another update. One last update when he arrived. Steven, the driver, was very nice and professional. He and his partner moved the furniture in place, took my payment, and left. They are good in moving boxes, nothing more. took nearly 9 hrs to move 2bed/bath house within a distance of 1.5 miles. Planning was poor,took nearly two hours to unbolt and fix cots and other one hour rearranging the goods in the truck ,since they go by hourly basis, it turned too expensive, along the line they did damage couple of furniture's. Two efficient and friendly men delivered my new mattress last week and took away my old one. When scheduling the delivery, they accommodated my schedule and came just when they said they would. They wore the requisite masks and took great care not to bang up my doors and walls with the mattress. The whole thing was over and done within about 15 minutes, but in that short time we had a few good laughs. They delivered a mattress.....and smiles. I recently had the great luck to work with a team from MTF for a furniture delivery in Portland, OR. After shopping at a local furniture store our salesperson set us up for delivery by MTF the following morning. When we arrived at the house at the scheduled time, the MTF crew was already there and instead of standing around waiting for us had begun furniture assembly outside! Every piece of furniture was expertly moved to the third floor where any additional assembly was completed. My experiences with Eric and his company have been so positive, and the costs so reasonable that I recommend MTF wholeheartedly for any moving and/or delivery. My challenge was one of having a sofa and desk removed, taken down two flights of stairs, and delivered to Habitat for Humanity's ReStore. Not an easy thing to get someone to do, for some reason, at least not without an exorbitant fee. Eric was a lucky find for me; his charge was much less, and he was willing to work with me on a day and time which were within two days of my contacting him. I have used these guys on three separate occasions now! The first time was a couple of years back and it was for a move. They just moved the heavy items- and the big items. They did an awesome job.. I remember being totally impressed with their communication - from the owner calling the night before to give me a four hour window and take payment, to the guys calling AND texting me as they were two hours out and then just 20 minutes away. Super nice, super clean guys. Very happy, helpful and humble. I just appreciated the fact they were on my level, they were nice and they treated my things like they belonged to them. Everything was padded, they had all the right tools for the job, and they make sure you are there and watch them do a thorough inspection of each item, then take a picture before they leave with it... and they the same thing when you receive it at the new location. Really Nice Guys. But then, I used them to pick up a bed AND deliver it AND put it together. Professional, and good humored. And the bed was perfect! So, this last time I called them for another move, with just two big pieces- huge things, one very valuable - they were awesome just like the two times before. And, I tossed a last item chair that would not fit in my car, and they were able to add it on with a minimal cost and while they can't always do that kind of thing, it was worth mentioning that they will try to help extra in any way they can. I really think they are very fair with pricing, and super nice to work with. They are intuitive too because I remember a couple of times forgetting to give them ALL the directions to my new place and they know Portland really well- they didn't need any more help from me- lol. I guess those are the qualities you want when moving something you care about. You want professional, down to earth, honest, good sense of humor for de-stressing and your things are treated like they should be- with good care. This is the company the furniture store I support uses to deliver(Furniture Shack). They were great! They call the night before to tell you a delivery window for the next day, your delivery day, which I selected with the furniture store. They send text alerts 20 and 10 minutes before arriving and upon arrival. You can also track them online. They gave me a window of 8am-11am and were here right at 8am. I am not a morning person yet was happy that my morning wasn't wasted waiting for them to arrive. They were friendly and efficient and made sure to safely get my new sleeper sofa up to my third floor apartment(door cover for my apartment door to avoid any damages). They made sure I was satisfied before asking for payment and were very polite. They are an independent delivery service and will also do set up(think Ikea furniture). Their rate was reasonable, especially since they had to come up 36 stairs with a sleeper sofa! I would highly recommend them if you need anything delivered and/or set up! read more

They delivered my furniture and quoted 1 price, they called and said they were on their way at one time and arrived late. When they came to put my table together they told me that I hate to pay for the delivery, the set up, and for them to dispose of the boxes that the table and chairs came in. Cost of table $300. Cost of delivery, setup and disposal of boxes $179. Save yourself the trouble don't use their services. I know I won't!!! read more
