It was a little bit of a rude reply, but it didn't bother me. I waited for him to go through two more customers when he finally asked me how he could help me. I told him I needed a fingerprint scan for a specific license. He said he didn't know what form to give me and he couldn't help me. That conversation took about 10 seconds and it could've happened when I walked in the door, not after waiting there for over 15 minutes. That really pissed me off. I do wish they would have let me seen my photo prior and asked if I wanted to retake as I absolutely hated the one photo they took. And when I had my photo taken at Staples before they took a bunch and let me choose and then even redid them for me. The place is kind of tricky to get to just because of its location off of Balboa before it turns into garnett. And I don't think they have their own designated parking lot. I think we parked just in a public parking lot or it might have been the old Bank parking lot. I'm not sure but we were fine there for 15 minutes. The price was pretty good as well. I think I paid around $25 for the two photos. I recommend this place if you want quick and efficient.

I have always found that the fastest to respond typically equates to great organization, care for new customers, and a strong work ethic to have successful and impactful business. There is a lot of competition out there. Kristen responded almost immediately after sending out inquiries to about 5 different notary services that indicate they offer apostille services. I received a voice mail, text message, and email with an acknowledgment of being able to provide the apostille service and an invitation and appreciation for finding and considering her business. Very professional and very impressive! Kristen was able to further assist my request with a confirmed time to meet the next day (mobile notary = she comes to you...a big plus). I felt very comfortable and really did not need any more response from other businesses, as her attention to detail, professionalism, responsiveness, and price point were all top notch. We confirmed all the details and items needed for the apostille process the night before via email. Kristen sent a notification via text on her ETA within our set time window. The first time I called, the phone was picked up but no one said hello -- there was a muffled fumbling with the phone and then they hung up before I could speak. The 2nd time I called, I got an answering machine that cut off before the outgoing message finished playing. The 3rd time I called, the answering machine picked up but this time the entire outgoing message played and said they closed at 3:00 pm on Saturday. As a small biz owner myself, I know it's hard to keep listings up to date, etc. but this seems excessive and almost as if they don't want any customers.

At the beginning of the review, they checked our IDs and also showed us their stamps. Other good notes - we have a dog and they were very friendly with her. They had no problem with that, even though we offered to keep our dog in the kennel / separate room. Jeremey also had a very simple billing - it was a flat rate so we didn't have to worry about each individual signature and adding up travel costs. This kept everything very straight forward. Other notary's charge per signature which feels a bit variable since the documents can be complex. In the end, they did 3 review passes of our document. In the first pass, they spotted a miss. It was caught and two more in depth reviews were conducted. In the end, it was 100% signed. Along with that, when a stamp's ink didn't appear full, they knew to apply an updated stamp.
