After years of struggling to breathe, I finally saw Dr. Bapna--and I'm so grateful I did. He performed a phenomenal surgery that has completely changed my quality of life. I can breathe clearly for the first time in years - and I'm happy to say that I've been running again, which was impossible with the breathing issues. What really sets him apart, though, is his honesty and compassion. He has never pushed unnecessary aesthetic procedures and has even advised me not to pursue surgeries he didn't feel were needed. That level of integrity is rare and so appreciated. His bedside manner is warm, kind, and reassuring, and his postoperative care has been even more impressive than the surgery itself, which I wouldn't believe possible since the surgery was flawless. I have seen facial plastic surgeons in pretty much every city, from Las Vegas to Portland to Phoenix, you name it. No one compares to Dr. Sumit Bapna. I was gearing up to the big 5-0 and I said let's do a facelift. He said, yeah, no. You don't need one. Ok. Eyebrow lift? Nope. You don't need that. He did say that's because my hair was thinning. But I will leave that alone. I was stunned. In Las Vegas, the doctor would have said sounds good enough for me. Let's get her scheduled for surgery. Eye lift, facelift, scrub me in. Not Dr. Bapna. The patience, the bedside manner, and just his kindness is off the charts. This doctor has the credentials, he has worked for the best of the best. But Dr. Bapna has a unique gift that simply says, just because another doctor says you need this, doesn't mean you do.. I'm sorry, what? I will likely kick myself for writing this because I will have to book two years in advance. This doctor walks the walk. He talks the talk. But in my opinion, there is no one better. I was referred here by my derm for an eyelid bump and was scheduled with Sarah Sivinski, PA. I was a bit hesitant to trust someone with a laser close to my eye who was not the overarching doctor but Sarah was PHENOMENAL. She was informative and wonderful throughout the entire process. My first impression of Dr. Bapna is that he is an absolute class act. Candidly, I saw six (!) doctors for consultations on my acne scars before choosing Dr. Bapna. The other physicians did not seem as knowledgeable or ethical in my opinion. They tried recommending acne scar revision procedures that I knew would be high-risk for me, since I am a woman of color, and there was always a hard sell for unnecessary procedures. Additionally, they made me feel really uncomfortable and embarrassed when pointing out my flaws. As another reviewer said, Dr. Bapna is so compassionate at consults--you will never meet another doctor that makes you feel as relaxed as he does when discussing your biggest insecurities. Dr. Bapna also dissuaded me from unnecessary procedures. As a veteran to cosmetic "stuff" I can tell you that doctors with principles like his are few and far between. As for the procedure itself--I went ahead and had an invasive treatment done for my acne scars. I currently look like I motorboated a cactus, but I am sure it will be worth it. I will have to repeat this procedure several times to see the best results and I will continue to see Dr. Bapna as a patient because I totally trust him with my face! read more

Dr. Bapna makes every experience 100% comfortable! I'm not sure if it's his technique or calm demeanor but there is no other office I would visit in the area! I don't think I would have considered doing anything to my face if I couldn't have found someone who does ONLY faces. Dr. Bapna is just so gentle - and I'm talking about more than his surgical technique. I feel so comfortable actually pointing out my flaws. And not feeling like a goober, for discussing something that maybe only I see. I took baby steps at first but I finally had him do my nose job and never looked back. When I've wanted to do something he thought was unnecessary, he has dissuaded me. I would NOT go anywhere else. Forgive the rave but its my FACE we're talking about. I had a septoplasty and rhinoplasty performed by Dr. Bapna. After the surgery, I slowly noticed that there were many hidden costs that I was not told to expect. I had asked several times the estimated cost and what all I would be needing to pay. I paid roughly $5,000 more than what Dr. Bapna had led me to expect. The worse part is that my nose is now noticeably crooked, facing to my left. This is VERY noticible! Also, Bapna did not make some of the requested changes such as raising the bottom part of nose tip. With the septoplasty, I am less deviated than before but not by much. I am still very deviated. When I spoke to Bapna about these issues he gave me the option to have another surgery in which I would need to pay the outside costs such as the surgery center cost, medications, etc. First of all, I shouldn't have to have another surgery for this. Something this expensive and delicate should be performed properly the first time. On top of that, why should I have to pay to fix what Bapna had caused (the crookedness) and what Bapna had not corrected (deviation and nose tip). That is ridiculous. I spoke to Bapna several times about this but he would not cover the outside expenses. I had then stated that I would accept even partial costs returned to me but this was also denied. Usually, when a service is performed which does not fix the issue(s) and/or causes more issues, the service cost is refunded. I could not even get a partial refund from Bapna but am now stuck with a severely crooked nose. I do not recommend this surgeon. read more
