After my original review was left in anger, the management reached out to me very quickly. After a bit of phone tag and texting I finally was able to meet with the manager, Tony, of both locations (NB as well as CB). He was quite apologetic and eager to get to the bottom of the problem, apologize, and extend a free carwash offer to repay what I had been overcharged for. Everything has worked out and I do appreciate all their efforts to resolve the matter and swift attention to seeing to customer satisfaction. That is worth something! read more

Upsell, upsell, upsell! Upfront, I made it clear to the attendant that all I wanted was a basic coil change. He replied " We do now carry a higher quality oil filter for your car, which catches smaller particles ... for only $19.99 more ..." "No thank you, I just want a basic oil change." " I see you haven't been to see us for a while. We recommend that every 10,000 miles we do a crank case flush along with the oil change, for only $19.95." "No thank you, I just want a basic oil change." I pulled forward, and while the first staffer was in the middle of getting my email address from me, another guy came out from under the hood to show me the dipstick and said "it looks like your oils is pretty dirty, and we recommend putting in a high mileage additive for only..." I interrupted him to tell him that a little over 3000 miles ago I had had my 50,000 mile service at my mechanics, and I didn't think of 50,000 miles as high mileage. Send the original staffer came back and observed, "Looks like your windshield wipers are about due for replacement!" I had replaced the wipers less than a month ago and told him so. Was $57.99 a good value for a basic oil change? Was going through all the sales pitches worth the trouble? Maybe. I might've been having a bad day. Staff #1 hadn't been able to finish entering my email address and had just put in @gmail.com, so staff #2 was able to correct that. And if that's the worst thing in my day, then I've had a pretty good day overall! read more

Dropped in for new wiper blades. They were fast, friendly and reasonably priced. Will be returning for an oil change.

Dropped in to have oil changed as it was due. Pros: They were prompt at getting me in and having parts in stock. They were thorough in checking all fluids. Cons: Tech needs to learn which way to loosen and which way to tighten, I watched him wrenching to remove oil filter by turning to right. Finally he changed and it came right off. Twice as he was wrenching on it he slipped and lost socket into engine and had to fish it out. He also wrenched very hard tightening down the filter. Maybe give these guys a torque wrench. He then proceeded to put wrong oil in engine. At least another tech caught mistake so it was drained out and refilled with proper oil. In all it could be good if the techs were better trained. read more

Just moved to the area and wasn't sure where to go so I stopped in at oil changers they did a fantastic job changed my oil checked all the other fluids and tire pressure washed my windshield all from the comfort of my truck. The guys were all super friendly and I never had to get put of my truck 10 out of 5. read more

Went to "Moes" to get the wife's oil changed. I learned the business has sold. The manager told me that the company "went corporate " and the prices have gone way up. I told him to go ahead and change the oil as I didn't know anywhere else to go without an appointment. One of the service techs (with gang tattoos on his neck) shows me the dipstick and said "the oil is black. This engine needs flushed." I told him it's been 3000 miles since the oil change to just change the oil. The guy with tattoos tells the manager to enter the black oil into the computer so they don't have the liability when the engine is trashed. It was an obvious shakedown. Told them to close the hood and left. Won't be back. read more

We stopped by for the first time this afternoon, to have the oil changed in our new-to-us 2021 Nissan Fronier. I was a little miffed at the price, which is about 50% higher than I used to pay down in California. But they had us in and out quickly, including washing the windshield, making sure all the lights worked, and checking tire pressure, things that our old shop didn't bother with. And they have a good practice of signalling each other as to what they're doing, loud and clear. We'll keep going back. read more

The technicians were quick and friendly. However, I have my reservations that they actually changed my oil and the filter - as the oil still smells foul of gasoline and is darker than newer oil. For $60.95, one would think they'd at least vacuum the interior of the vehicle and wash the windshield. Moreover, they no longer provide a complimentary car wash or discount, as they have a new washing system. At this price, and lack of detail, you can find better within the community at a cheaper price. read more

Zero stars. We don't do oil changes on newer VW, Mercedes, or BMW. Their reason is that some models have oil pressure sending unit close to filter and they might break it. You're an oil change business, if you can't change oil without breaking something just because it's European, maybe you shouldn't be changing oil on any car in the first place. This was for my mothers VW Tiguan, rest assured I will no longer have my 3 American cars serviced at your inept shop in the future. On average I was spending $400-500/yr for oil changes at Moe's Super Lube, not anymore. read more

I wouldn't go anywhere else for an oil change on the South Coast. They get the job done efficiently and without any appointment. They never try to "sell up" on other products and I usually have to push for new windshield wipers. They do oil changes and filters and nothing else and do it right. i was referred to Moe's by a friend in Gold Beach OR, my first visit. Ivan, Paul, Tony & Trevor working that day. Watching them work together the very few minutes I was in line...it was like watching a choreographed process. They work together like a well oiled machine, forgive the pun. They had excellent camaraderie, ...and yes, that makes a difference for the customer's confidence going in. I was tired, and wasn't stellar in lining my Jeep up with the ramp...all taken with sincere good nature. They were patient. Kind. Personable. Good natured. They also were exceptionally careful with, and respectful of, my vehicle. I'm protective of my Jeep, the paint job, etc. Watching them just a few minutes in, I relaxed. They were skilled, knowledgeable, confident and incredibly fast yet thorough. An amazing first experience that truly made a difference. I went in on my way out of town to travel cross country Back in May. I'm slightly belated in my review, but it's important to me to acknowledge excellence In customer service and stellar work. My biggest complaint with these type of businesses is all the extra services they try to push on you. Moe's did nothing of the sort, it was great. It's $33 for a basic oil change and it took less than 10 minutes on a Saturday. They do offer a supreme oil change for $39 but I didn't ask what that entails. read more

Moe's Super Lube was by far the best, most inexpensive oil change I have ever had, and the customer service was above and beyond. I am incredibly pleased and will return here for all of my oil changes in the future. read more

My complaint is that the employees added water to my antifreeze with out asking me. After they did it they told me go right down the street to another vendor and have them do a radiator flush. I had to spend an extra $40.00 to get my antifreeze corrected. I feel they are in collusion with the company down the street. I contacted the owner and he told me never to return to his business again. read more

I have had my oil changed by Moe's and other local businesses over the years without issue. I took my vehicle to Moe's in May for an oil change and then decided to change the oil myself in July when it was time again. I discovered that Moe's put the drain pan screw on so "gorilla" tight that the edges of the screw stripped off using a 6 point socket. I had to resort to buying Irwin "grip off" sockets ($27) for removing stripped fittings and completed the oil change. I returned to Moe's this month thinking they would try to make it right somehow. They told me it was my fault for using a open ended wrench which is something I didn't do. They told me they would have happily removed the screw if I would have brought the vehicle in back in July. I thought of this option but didn't want to wait in line just for the screw removal and anticipated potential charge. I wasn't expecting a free oil change but all they offered was a $2 discount on a future oil change. I politely told him this wasn't sufficient to keep my business. I'll gladly go elsewhere for my vehicle needs in the future. read more
