Stopped in for oil change, been 5000 miles since my last one. Malachi came out and said it would be about a ten minute wait, said no problem. Watched him and Andrew work diligently on two cars in the bay, changing air filter on one and light on another. When I got in, they discovered I had two rear brake lights out, had them replaced one. Checked my air filter, said it was ok but would probably need changing next time, plus informed me about considering changing my fuel and transmission filter. No high pressure sales, Malichi was very polite and informative, will get those filters changed next time as my car is a 16 yr old Subaru that runs great and want to keep it running that way. He also recommended an engine service since I didn't change the oil that often, will think about that. He appeared to be the leader, but Andrew and Adrien (who checked me out) were also very personable. Probably one of the cleanest oil change places you'll find and reasonably priced. I had my car serviced today - transmission fluid, power steering fluid and oil changed. Josh and his crew were great. He explained everything clearly, offered a 10% discount even though I didn't have a coupon because I was doing so much and didn't act condescending or judgey because I had let things go longer than was ideal. He pointed out a minor repair I might want to address later, which was above and beyond and really helpful for someone like me who really knows nothing about mechanics. I live in Junction City but drove to this place for service and I've been coming to them pretty consistently for several years. Management/branding has changed over the years, but I always get very good service, I feel like the employees are trying to provide what the customer actually wants or needs without giving you a hard sell. I also have called around for pricing at different places and they're always about the cheapest, at least from my admittedly cursory research. I really dislike doing vehicle maintenance, but I feel good about the experience when I go here. read more

Wow, is the proper word for the service I received for having my oil changed. I have done Rescue work in three States, Manager Utility Business, I'm a Mechanic. I was so impressed with my service today at Springfield Express Lube in Oregon. It was late in the day and hot, when I arrived everyone there was polite, good a attitude, and very professional. I pulled into the service bay, they had six things checked before I knew it, communication with employees was great, just on top of things. Very impressed, I don't care if I move 40 miles away, when my 2016 Dodge Diesel Dually needs a oil change or other service this place provides I will go there. That says a lot. 1st time customer at Springfield Express Lube. Went today Wednesday around 4p. I called ahead to see how busy they were, was told only had 1 car at the time. I arrived about 30 mins later after I got off work and drove right up. No wait! I was thrilled! I've been going to the dealership for years with 1-2 hr wait time, so I had been dreading going. But this experience was great!! I was greeted by a friendly technician. Sorry didn't catch his name but he was great! Never before experienced waiting in the car during the process. Was actually kinda fun because I got to see the whole thing! Entertainment while I wait lol! He explained everything as he went along and showed me the oil color and air filter. These guys are just amazing... They inform you about everything they are checking, show you the air and cabin (if you have one) filter, just to let you know if it needs to be replaced... They don't pressure you into getting more than just your oil changed and that is what I appreciated the most, although I did get more done... They all possess great customer service skills, they are polite, knowledgeable, and patient... What will have me coming back to them from now on is, they will check your oil for free and they will even top it off (up to a quart) for free as well... Amazing service, honest, quick, good team work and should be #1 in Lane County. My oil plug had stripped the oil pan by another big box store that didn't know what they were doing. They told us they couldn't do an oil change, just plain and simple, I needed an oil pan! When we went in there and they were super good about showing us the problem, with the oil plug and pan, they did what they could do to keep us running without leaking and referred us to someone that could actually rethread my oil pan instead of replacing it. Just knew I needed to get an oil change. I had had COVID back in January and lost my sense of smell. I had NO IDEA that the oil cap has blown off the oil reservoir and ALL my oil was all over my engine and not in the engine. I hadn't smelled it burning and it was such a slow leak that it didn't smoke enough to notice. A couple times I couldn't tell if it was steam because of the warm engine or what. I'm an idiot... but these guys are so great and so fast! They took care of everything and even made sure the rest of the car was looking good and safe. They went above and beyond!! read more

Jason & Baron were the ones who have helped me the last time I got an oil change, but I have been going there since I've been able to drive. My whole family has always gone there because they give you the best service for the best price! They also always tell you what you need vs. what can wait. Which, for being a broke college student, is something I very much appreciate. Fast, friendly, polite and efficient! In the past two weeks Adrien and Kyle have provided great service on my two vehicles. This is one of the best oil change businesses that I have visited. I am someone who usually has my guard up around mechanics and deeply dreads when my car is due for service. The guys were friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone that I interacted with was approachable and straightforward. Best part was how inexpensive my total was! They are friendly, detail oriented, and helpful . They checked my halogen light and explained how easy it is to ruin them , and coming to the conclusion that it wasn't bad it was probably an electrical issue , they put it back in. I didnt feel like they were trying to sell me something I didnt need, but making sure they checked things out, and offered everything I did . I had an 04 Audi they put 5w30 in my car and yes it is rated only if it's specifically 502 vw. I know it's not 502 because valvoline doesn't carry 502 5w30 oil. So now my car is ticking and they didn't understand what I was talking about because they're like well it's 5w30 and vw says 5w30 is okay, yes and no because it's not 502. Only valvoline oil that is rated for my car is the 5w40. I showed a photo of what they put and how on valvoline website they shouldn't have put it. read more

This is nowhere near where I live but when I can I save up my oil change until I can get over to this part of Springfield just so I can bring my car here. They are efficient, friendly, and always have top notch service. Everything is clearly communicated and options are explained with costs. For not having to step out of my car and usually being in and out in under 30 minutes, for half the cost of a dealership oil change, it's 100% worth heading over there. read more

Called to see if I needed to make an appointment, but found out it was first come, first serve basis. Didn't have to wait at all when I got there and the men working immediately began working on the car. I was in and out in 10 minutes. They were so thorough and detailed and there was very little pressure to replace and add things on, like I always feel to when I get my oil changed. I went in for an oil change and Adrien, Alex, and Chris helped me out the second I pulled in. They were very quick but also nice and reassuring. As well as an oil change, they changed both of my brake lights that were blew out for only $7. I asked them to help me re-fix a part of my taillight and they were more than willing to help me out.
