I live in San Diego because I prefer to walk more than I drive. But one of the reasons I hate driving beyond environmental impact is the predatory energy around car maintenance. Especially as a woman I just know they're more likely to take advantage. I got my last oil change here six months ago. I set a challenge for myself to try to only use one tank of gas in six months. So obviously, I have not driven very often. But Google, ChatGPT, and the few men in my life told me that I needed to go get an oil change since it had been 6 months. So I went back to oil changers. To my absolute delight they showed me oil that looked freshly changed. No need to change what's already good. They gave me all the tips I need to know for when I need to actually come back and what I can be doing to maintain my car in the meantime. It would have been so easy for them to just take my money and lie to me. It would have been just a normal errand I'd forget about in a few days. But now I will refer everybody to this location because I am so thrilled with that experience on top of already having a positive experience when I DID need an oil change last time. You don't really expect too much from these limited service shops. But the energy here is good. The people here seem to work well together and after today I will continue to come here as long as I live in San Diego. read more

Service needed - Oil Change Service provided - Oil Change, Tire pressure check, Air Filter check and Lights and signal lights checked. Transmission fluid needs change in the future before the summer. Overall, it went quicker than normal. I passed by this place often and there is always a long line of cars, they give discounts to ride share drivers, call them or see the sign on the side of the bldg. But on this Sat morning, got lucky as the only 2nd car in the place (they have 2 platforms). They didn't have the air filter for my car but I probably could take care of that myself later. The assistant manager Jorge took care of me, and provided great service as well as doing an excellent job explaining the services he thought my car needed or didn't need. He actually talked me out of doing a couple things that I was asking about because everything looked good, which I appreciated a lot. Sometimes I feel like people are trying to constantly upsell me in these businesses, and that definitely wasn't the case here. He did identify a service I hadn't been thinking about, and my car has been running noticeably better since. Highly recommend this place. read more

We came in for our first oil change in our new car and didn't realize that we actually shouldn't change the oil until we reach 7,500 miles. Found these guys just driving by and I was super impressed with the service. Would definitely recommend. The wait time will always vary since it's a drive thru. I typically wait 40min to an hour and I think it's worth it. I watch Netflix while I wait lol I've now gotten 6+ oil changes here, a coolant service, and a fuel system service. My car is running great. I think they have great prices plus they do so much more in the service than just an oil change! They check tire pressure, refill washer fluid, check the engine filter, clean ur windshield if it's dirty, and there's free top offs. You don't have to wait in the line to get a top off which is really convenient All the guys are smart and have answered every question I've had. I'm confident in them and will continue to come here. They have a nice "power program" where you get $20 when you have a 2nd service, $40 with a 3rd, $60 w a 4th, and $80 w a fifth (It excludes oil changes sadly lol) but I've saved money getting additional services here! read more

Been coming here for years and am always happy with the service. It's quick and easy and you can always find at least a $10 coupon online that they accept. Today, I ended up getting my transmission fluid changed. The extra cost made me back out of an air filter replacement but the manager, who was also the tech helping me out, helped me out with a $25 discount. Sorry I forgot his name. Cool guy though. Even the guy doing the work under the car popped out and helped me reset my oil change timer. Both nice and friendly guys. Receipt says hood tech. 10727 and lube tech. 16776. Overall with this location, my cars haven't had any issues since bringing them here. The work is good and the people working there are cool. Highly recommend. Came here for the first time with my husband based off the great Yelp rating. Small location right off El Cajon Blvd and Arizona with 2 drive-thru lanes. Once you pull up, you wait your turn for someone to check you in. If you're new, like we were, they'll grab all your essential info and confirm that they have all the items they'll need for your car, as well as give you a quote before servicing you! Keep in mind that with this type of quick, fast paced type of business, prices will be more expensive, but it was worth it for us since we needed the oil change ASAP. The wait wasn't too bad, but based off what Google noted, there doesn't seem to be a crazy long wait at any particular part of the day. I did did not have a good experience at the Oil Changers on El Cajon Blvd. When I got there, I was told to roll up my windows because the car in the work area was about to blow smoke. Oh my did it. They kept having the car revving and pouring out billows and billows of poisonous pollution. It was awful. Even with my windows up, the air was toxic. I felt sorry for the workers outside and I can't understand why they kept letting that happen. The car was a mess and needed to go to a dealership or a junkyard. When I drove in to the bay, the worker was very sweet but of course, they want to sell you everything and tell you all the things you need. When I was quoted the price, I asked if they had any coupons and he said no. Then I look on yelp and it says $20 off so I am steamed about that. I would not go back. read more

I gave this place a call today since the dealer system went down and they couldn't even write up a work order. I started looking around for oil change places and this was one of the first places that popped up on yelp. Instead of using there oil and filter I would just buy the parts myself. I gave this place a call to see if they would be okay with that and they said yes, I would only be paying for labor of course. Got the parts and headed over there. There was an about 5 cars ahead of me but patience pays off. I rolled into the bay... (before I forget they quoted me 50 bucks labor) anyways.... I rolled into the bay and I rolled out in about 20 mins or so. Quick and easy and just like what they quoted me on the phone, that's the price I paid. I may give there other location a try just because it looks bigger with 3 bays according to yelp. But overall experience was excellent. read more

I needed an oil change on a weekend and didn't make an appointment earlier in the week as a total goof. Luckily, I found oil changers and was able to do a drive up oil change! I will say depending on the day/crew the time varies - the first time I went I was in and out within 45 minutes (and that was with waiting for a car ahead of me), the next time it was almost 1 hr 15 minutes and I was put in a bay instantly. I used to think this was the place to get my oil changed. But each time I come I keep seeing new faces. This last time was not great. My bumper is broken and I'm well aware. In the process of getting it replaced. As soon as I pulled in I saw what was not subtle, the employees looking at my bumper and talking about it. Then one gentleman who checked me in was completely condescending and tried to sell me upgrades I didn't need right off the bat. The other two employees who helped me out were cool people, but didn't forget they were judging my car. Putting two stars only for the convenience of being in and out in less than 30 mins.
