I am so happy I chose to work with the team at MBS Automotive. The reason I say that is their excellent reviews (I can see why) and their focus on german vehicles. I was a first time customer and had a couple other shops in mind for a major repair on my '98 Mercedes E320. When I went in their shop - if there wasn't a BMW, Mercedes or Audi in the bay...it's because they were full ! I met with Xiao (Zha-ow) and explained that the AC was not working and the car would just quit running intermittently. We discussed scheduling and getting the car in. I knew it would be a big job as they had to pull the dashboard out to get access to the AC evaporator, heater core and related parts. Xiao always kept me informed as to what was going on with the car - which I really appreciated. I stopped to visit a couple times as they are in the neighborhood - and each time Xiao was on the computer researching technical updates and information on the cars in the shop. Needless to say - I had the AC compressor, evaporator, condenser, heater core replaced, along with a crankshaft sensor. A big job, but their pricing is competitive and they took really good care of me. My E320 is running great with an AC system that had not worked for over 10 years. I like to give my money to local businesses whenever possible and MBS did not disappoint. The team at MBS likes german machinery, is enthusiastic and cares about their customers. Our 2014 Ford Focus' battery died on a Sunday in the middle of a Pandemic. We were able to purchase a battery from Autozone, but not Autozone, Advanced Auto Parts, or Valvoline could instal the battery for us due to 'company policy' as the battery is in a tight spot. I messaged them first and they immediately replied me back. That's the first amazing thing I got. After I got enough information, I decided to drive to the place, get an estimate and schedule the pick up time. I just wanted my car be maintained like changing oils and fluids and check tires etc. but after they checked everything, they found something should be fixed and replaced. They let me know immediately and give an estimate for additional fixing without pushing or convincing me to do all of those. I decided to have them do everything (it's kind of important) and the cost of that is reasonable. They can finish my can on time that they schedule for me (only a day). Even though they have a lot of customers. It's amazing. I had car issues and didn't know what was the problem. I looked online for an auto shop to take my car to and I stumbled across this hidden gem. I called to see if they had availability, luckily they had a little spot open late afternoon. I took my car in and a diagnostic was done. The problem was something with my brake actuator. The gentleman I spoke with (I think he was the manager or something) was very thorough with explaining to me what the problem with my car was and gave me options as to what I can do. I told him I'll talk it over with my husband and we can go from there. Then I left. I called back a couple days later to make an appointment. I took my car in. It took a couple of days to complete. So I waited a few days after having my car fixed to see if the car was truly fixed and It was! I have since then driven from San Diego to upland twice, there and back, with no issues! and I would say my car runs much smoother now. Listen, These guys brought my Audi A4 2014 back to life! These guy are the real deal! my dumb a** put to much oil in the engine and it pretty much shut down my car. My engine was shaking violently, I couldn't accelerate and an insane amount of white smoke was coming out of my tail pipe to the point where I though my car was going to catch fire. There were no other shops open on a Sunday except theirs; boy was I lucky. They were very insightful, intelligent and understanding. I though my car was done for; but apparently the oil got into my intake manifold and turbo. they were able to clean this all out, fix my sensors, change my filter and my oil for an extremely reasonable price. Vatt, owner of MBS, was asked to install a low mileage replacement engine after they resealed it and installed a new timing belt, water pump, etc. His guys also installed a new power steering pump, new a/c system including compressor, steering rack and drive shafts, and rebuilt the transmission/transfer case on my 2006 Toyota Highlander. This was done 6 months ago. The SUV has had zero problems since, no call backs, and everything works as if new. Lots of work with excellent results and pretty quick to complete (a couple weeks.) Plus the overall cost was much less then buying a used car that would have much higher miles. I will be using MBS again, this time to rebuilt a 1971 Buick drive train. read more

Don't go anywhere else! They are the guys. I made the mistake of going to a friend's recommendation and I got a half ass Job. The other place put out of market breaks on my car that had me sounding like I still needed breaks on top of that they broke a part of my car and taped it down. I came back to my mechanics at MBS they updated the computer for my oil change instead of putting a tacky sticker like the other place. So my check engine light came on yesterday and it stalled today so I called and Vatt was the most responsive. He picked up right away so I'm not stranded till next day or even next week. He was very honest and told me it's nothing more than just getting my transmission fluid changed. I also asked about my driver window because it's slightly open and the motor went out. Very friendly over the phone and told me bring it in anytime before closing (10:00PM) But I ended up waited for a tow truck through my insurance for over 4 1/2 hours! I eventually called off my tow truck due to how long I was waiting and let MBS know I would like to reschedule, they called me back offering to send a tow truck to where I am free of charge! Their tow truck came in less than an hour and was able to get my car serviced before closing! The shop was clean and I honestly haven't met a staff as friendly as theirs!
