I've been there a few times with my 911 Porsche given that they can actually take low riding cars. For the Porsche they were reasonable. The problem is: many times there are a bunch of teenage girls that really don't know anything about cars and I had to leave and come back given that they were clueless on how to service it for the basics. Here is where they really messed up: they failed to tell me that my Honda Civic Hybrid uses a special tranny fluid that if NOT USED voids the warranty from Honda. Basically I had thousands of dollars in damages in my transmission and Honda service was able to void my warranty and pointed at the viscosity and coloring that the tranny fluid had: non-approved Honda transmission fluid voids the warranty and Oil Experts didn't tell me that. They just put regular fluid into a CVT with special requirements. You'd think that their database prescribes what a car needs. I believe a shop like this should KNOW these things from their database and tell customers before they go ahead an reap havoc on engines and tranny's. Never again for me, rather get nailed by the dealership and keep my warranty clean. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! THEY ALMOST SET MY CAR ON FIRE! I went there to have a headlight replaced and the left the cold air intake on my exhaust manifold. Driving to work the next day it melted on the exhaust manifold and filled the passenger compartment with smoke. They refuse to replace the part they damaged. The corp. number they give you is an answering service that only lets you leave your name and number and they never call you back. I even complained to the BBB and they lied to them! read more

The last two times I've gone here the employees have been extremely nice and helpful! They've taken away my nerves about dealing with car stuff myself and they've walked me through everything they're doing with my car. They have answered any questions I've had about their procedure and explained to me in a way I'd understand. This is the first time I have been charged over $80 for an oil change anywhere. Ridiculous!!! Reading the other reviews, I am not the only one who is shocked by this amount. I also noticed the responses are defensive and not customer service friendly, and more of a 'sucks to be you, you chose us' response. Lesson learned. I work in Portage and will warn my friends. The kid behind the counter told me my bill was $80.00 and I told him I didn't pay that last time and why was it so high? I asked to see my last bill so he called in his so called manager. She immediately got snippy with me and started stating all the things involved with an oil change. I once again asked to see my reciept for my last visit because I am in the system and have been coming there for over a year. She said," I cant help it that he started to ring you up so I cant bring up your last bill." I said, "I am not stupid and after I pay I want to see my last reciept." She told me I had to find my reciept myself----rude, rude, rude. So I told her I was going to my van and I would find my reciept. I sat in my van in front of the store for about 10 minutes going through all my past reciepts as well as my bank statements. All of a sudden the rude so called manager produces a reciept and begins to explain it which I didnt need her to do because all I asked her to do is find the reciept so I could look at it and see why I am paying almost$20 more even though I have a $15 coupon. Going elsewhere next time because this woman was extremely rude and unappreciative of consumers keeping this store in business. read more

0 stars. The customer service guy tried to be nice and helpful, but he just came off really pushy and manipulative. I am always weary going in any where to get my car checked out and can sense when someone tries to upsell me, although this time i knew I my car needed some TLC, so I went ahead and got some of my fluids flushed. He said it would only take 15 min, which turn into an hour. 2 customers came in AFTER me and they serviced them first! THEN, when I went to cash out the same pushy salesman tried to overcharge me $100. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOU BILLS PEOPLE!! I gave him $100 cash and wanted the rest on my card, but he charged me the full amount on my card! I then waited another 15 min for him to call the "owner" to void the payment. I would not recommend coming here, mind you the "specials" on oil changes are totally false and would only suit a smart car, if that!! read more

Terrible experience! I arrived at 6:44 to a completely empty service area. They opened the bay door as soon as I pulled up and began changing the oil on my 2011 Chevy Traverse. 15 minutes later, a new customer pulls into the bay next to mine and they also begin servicing his vehicle. My car was finished but sat there for 15 minutes while they finished up the other customer and pulled both vehicles out at once. When the servicemen came inside to cash us out, I mentioned that it was poor customer service to make me wait the extra time. The "manager", Max, (whom I only know his name because I took his photo and sent it to a friend that used to work there) responded with "Do you know where your filter is?". I asked him if this was a test and what that had to do with the length of time I had waited. I explained that I had never had to wait that long before. This is the point that I took his picture. He then informed me that he was calling the police and that I needed to pay my bill, leave and never come back. He picked up the phone and called "Brian". I assume Brian is his boss but Max assured me he was the manager, refused to give me any information for anyone else I could speak to about the lack of customer service. He ran my credit card and when I asked him for a copy of the receipt before signing my cc receipt, he balked at the request. I left the store but did place a call to the corporate number at the bottom of my receipt. We'll see if they return my call. 2/12/15 No return call from corporate office. read more

Do not fall for their coupon 70.00 brake pads, it's a joke!! they also charge me 45.00 for labor for just removing one tire to look and take picture of the brake rotor to send to the brake mechanic. I told them never mind on the brake service because they were going to charge me 345.00 for just front brakes. they do not have the equipment to turn your rotors. I just got taken by one of the scams in the area. They do not give out the manager's name. Who owns that place or manages it. They don't even have a web site it takes you to a facebook page. read more

When I took my car back because they put the wrong type of oil in, they were extremely rude and did not take responsibility for their mistake. This place is more exspensive then the dealer...i had my old changed on a toyota sienna and they charged me $82 ..found out later the dealer only charges $70. Then on top of that my reciept shows that they checked my tire pressure...i guess the tech did not see the tire pressure light on...duhh....i checked it and sure enough one tire was down like 8 psi ..i will never go back.. read more

Went in to get an oil change. First time here. They said it'd be $31.99 for an oil change. Waited about 30 mins for it to be complete, and at check out my total was $65.00!!!! Because they had to add an extra quart of oil, so now that doubles my charge!? I can say with confidence A. I'm calling to talk to the manager tomorrow and B. We took our car to Oil Xperts last July. They ended up charging more than they quoted but we just paid the price and decided we wouldn't go back there again. Well last Saturday we took our car to Wal Mart to get an oil change but Wal Mart said they couldn't do an oil change on our car because the oil filter cap wouldn't come off due to the person who did our last oil change at Oil Xperts tightened the cap to tight and stripped the cap. So this morning we took the car to a mechanic to see if they could help us. But we had to go to the Toyota dealer and buy a new cap which cost us $49.97. We went to Oil Xperts Saturday after WalMart. The lady manager said because we took it to Wal Mart that there was nothing she could do. Be very careful where you take your cars. We will never go back to Oil Xpress again. I have tried to call the corporate office to see what excuse they are going to tell me, but they don't answer their phones. You have to leave a detailed message and I did. Rating a big 0. read more
