This place is a cut to the chase, give it to me RAW kinda spot. I know the owner is an older Filipino man, whom every time I go there I call him parre which means friend in Tagalog. His son works there with him too, so it must be a family business. They are very friendly and ask you what service options would you like to receive. After filling out and signing the appropriate paperwork, and finalizing payment (because you have to pay the ledger $$ first before they start working on your car) they let you know exactly what services will be performed. The wait is usually minimal, but there were several times I didn't even wait to get an oil change. I just pulled up and they were ready to go. So I didn't even have to wait, my car was just immediately pulled into the working bay. They even go out of their way and tell me what their recommendations are for my car, like what services need to be performed in the future and what problems they saw and diagnosed when they were underneath my car. Usually in about 15-25 minutes the oil change is completed and I'm off on my way. 1 star down bc I prefer to pay later, after work is completed. And usually I like to pay cash $$ and getting a hook-up. But overall a clean, friendly cool experience, with fast service. One that you'll be seeming to appreciate. read more

Come here if you would like to be upcharged for everything. Called and got a quote over the phone and then when I came in the price kept increasing for the simple oil change. After, they suggested I change my transmission fluid because it was "very dirty" and would ruin my car. They also tried to change my air filters when I always do it myself and had just changed them. Then went to O'Rielly's auto parts next door to buy oil and filter to change my own oil, plus check their job. They overfilled my oil by 1 quart(guess they wanted to blow my gaskets and seals). Also broke my air filter housing clip. Horrible experience so come here at your own risk. I've rebuilt 3 engines myself in my garage so I have a bit of experience. Very very disappointed in this location, I have been bringing my Toyota Tacoma 2020 for oil change here, never had any issues , I had noticed a leak of oil when my truck is parked , when opening my hood I noticed a lot of oil around the filter. I asked a mechanic to check it out , he said I recommend you to take your car where you got it serviced because they didn't put the filter on right and that's why it's leaking , my husband went and explained what happened the guys at the oilmen blamed the mechanic that checked out my truck , I got the oil change in June 21, 2021 not even 2 months yet . The guy was very disrespectful about the whole situation. If I'm paying for something I expect it to be done right I pay $115 have all my receipts. They were not professional about the situation, the guy told some other worker to just water down the oil that's leaking. Never coming back again !!! So please be careful when doing oil changes here. I usually say no, however they showed me my cabin air filter and it needed changing. I heard him say 30$ and I agreed. $23 oil change in 15 minutes? Sure! I came here on my lunch break and no one was in front of me, although two customers came right after me. I was greeted with a friendly welcome and was in and out of there in under 20 minutes. They wiped down my windows and did an overall check on my car. I admit, I have limited knowledge about cars and I have no idea whether or not they did a decent job changing my oil. Very bad experience i came here for an oil change yesterday they charge me $78 because they said it was synthetic oil so when it's done they were also the ones who noticed that it was leaking they told me they broke the housing or oil cap something i don't know what it's called when they try to open it's so tight & so it broked so it was leaking and i have no choice but to pay for the damaged part oh well i took my car there for an oil change then you force to open that prolly you used a wrong tool! i'm definitely not coming back to them very bad experience! it was a 2016 toyota rav 4 i should have just brought it to the dealership! i usually go to this place strictly for oil changes. They once haggled me into getting a fuel injection procedure done on my car which was $70. I took my car to my car to another shop which told me I didn't need one. They also did this to my girlfriend as well. In my opinion I feel like this place could cheat you. Just go here for the oil changes and get a second opinion on any other type of work they "recommend". Every time I go to get an oil change they keep telling me tell me something is wrong with my car. I've been coming to these guys for YEARS!!! For about as long as I've owned my car. The price is good very reasonable and the service is always excellent. They always take the time to talk to me if they find anything that needs to be checked out. I'm no mechanic and about the only maintenance thing I know how to do is get a regular oil change so I totally appreciate when they bring things to my attention. I usually come here during lunch and they get the job done nice and quick. On a side note: I think the guys that work there get along well with each other and the vibe I get is that there's a good work atmosphere. That counts for something in my book. read more

Been coming to this place ever since the dealership screwed me over. I have a Honda Civic SI and I get full synthetic for my engine oil. I watch them drain out the old oil, put the new oil filter and the new oil in. They're legit, and they're customer service is second to none. Came here to get an oil change in early January and although they were fast and somewhat friendly they didn't do very good. They charged me a lot because they said my car needs synthetic oil and it needed a new AC filter. Unfortunately I don't know much about exactly what the car needs since I usually go to the dealership but I came here for faster service. Early March my car told me it needed an oil change again!! I went to the dealer and they said it was low. I explained I had gotten an oil change in January and they said the place where I took it probably didn't put as much oil as it actually needed!!! In exchange for an enclosed air conditioned waiting room with a TV that you would find at Firestone or perhaps at some Jiffy Lube locations, unless you have a coupon at those centers, you get a cheaper bill for an oil change at The Oilmen. Their price is extremely fair which hovers around $23 using conventional dinosaur oil. That's because if you did the oil change yourself, you would have already spent $17-$18 on supplies alone (using the most economical budget scenario: dinosaur oil+filter+cost of trouble to get your used oil to the recycling center). Add 5 bucks for labor, and you've got the price that The Oilmen are charging. 5 bucks for labor! Imagine that! That's a steal if you ask me. Upon entering this what seems to be a Filipino family-owned facility, don't let the akward stares and speechless demeanor from the technicians mislead you as many Filipino men are inherently reserved, yet curious people. Once you are verbally greeted by one of the service reps, you will quickly discover that beneath their rough exterior, they are actually very nice. While you wait for your car, have a seat outside on the humble plastic patio furniture or perhaps stand and wait under a nearby tree for shade on a hot summer day. Don't let the owner's kids bother you as they play around you during the summer months and be sure to lift your feet up when while auntee sweeps under the chairs to keep things tidy. In no time, your car will be all set and ready to go. Off topic, remember that YOU and ONLY YOU are responsible for getting your oil changes done. Regardless what anyone tells you, (including these guys at The Oilmen) follow the recommendations from YOUR CAR MANUAL. Modern cars commonly have oil change intervals of 5K-7K or 5-7 months (which ever comes first) using standard dinosaur oil, and for older cars, 3K or 3 months (which ever comes first). Here's an interesting note: "... research conducted by the California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB) shows that nearly three-quarters of Californian drivers change their motor oil more often than automaker recommendations. Following the 3,000 mile myth generates millions of gallons of waste oil every year that can pollute California's natural resources." -California's Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery If the service rep recommends other stuff to replace, question them and ask them to show you. Air filters needs replacing if you cant see light shining through them and transmission flushes should be, again, scheduled according to what your car manual says. If they can't justify their reccomendations, tell them NO. Simple as that. Bottom line: If have time to read this stuff on Yelp, pretty sure there's a 99% chance you have time to pick up your car manual and read the darn thing. It's not that difficult! Then you will have the knowledge and confidence of having your car serviced without getting ripped off, regardless where you go. Anyway, back to the review. To make a long story short, their price is great and the service is quick. They do their job. It's an oil change, and they change oil. It's not rocket science. read more

Do NOT bring your car here if you JUST had your windows tinted!! I brought my car here for an oil change on a Sun morning last month! I specifically told All the employees including the manager on duty to NOT roll my 2 front windows down because I just had them tinted prior to bringing it to The Oilmen for an oil change! One of the employees drives my car around the back after the oil change with the Driver side window nearly all the way down! Long story short! I had to pay $40 to have the driver side tint removed and replaced out of my own pocket!! Mr Rommel one of the owners said he would "take care of it!" Meaning pay me the $40 his employee messed up my window tint! Up to this point I have filed a complaint from the BBB! Im still waiting for a phn call from Mr Rommel to schedule a pickup of my $40 owed to me! He is Dodging my phn calls! Update: Today 11/9/2017..
