As I type this, I am the only customer in here for lunch around 12:30 and I don't really know why. It took about 15-20 minutes to put together a Bento box for me and it was really good! Been there for lunch many times. Struck by the fact that there is almost no other customers. The sign out front touts all you can eat sushi that they don't do that anymore and the prices in the menu are wrong BUT it's a great value, good presentation and depending on the server (who seem to wear many hats) service ranges from friendly to matter of fact. I have driven past this restaurant numerous times, and the All You Can Eat sushi definitely caught my eye. I went in with a friend of mine today for lunch, and was shocked that there was absolutely no diners in the restaurant. The one employee greeted us right away and sat us down at a table. Being empty, the restaurant was very quiet and was enjoyable, but that was the only thing that was. When our server came back, she told us that they do not serve, all you can eat sushi, even though it is on the sign in the front, and proceeded to point out most of the items on the menu, that we wanted to order that they did not have available. Seriously, most of the items on the sushi menu were not available. So the fact that they do not have all you can eat sushi, for whatever price it didn't really matter, and then had very very few items available on their menu was enough for my guest, and I to get up and leave. We did get two sodas, and literally had no more than one or two sips out of them, but the person waiting on us insisted that we pay full price for them. Terrible terrible crappy service, terrible, terrible crappy restaurant.I am sure I will find a restaurant that will provide me a value, great food, great ambience of which I will gladly pay for. Went and had the all you can eat sushi. It sounds like a goofy thing or too much. But realistically by the time you get the soup and 4 or five rolls you are having what you would anyway and it just saves a few bucks. We had the ninja roll. The spicy California roll. Mango roll. Loads if different appetizers at one and two of each. Nice because you get a little of lots of different things. So hot and fresh!!! Awesome. And the spicy seafood soup was FABULOUS!!! And the place is to die for gorgeous!! Very edgy and very clean!! Techno music and neon but it's a cool experience. This is my 5th time doing takeout. I Iove Thai and this is only one of two places in town, The other place is on summer vacation. I usually go on Saturdays for lunch and it's generally decent, I got the dinosaur roll (shrimp tempura and tuna with special sauce) and chicken pad Thai. The roll was good but half of what you get at the other place but not as good. The pad Thai was weird. Overcooked linguini in an uninspired sauce with jalapenos, mushrooms and tofu. Odd. Some cilantro and powdered peanuts thrown on the side as an afterthought. Not great. Actually not good. For my money I'll wait for The other place to open back up. Might go again for lunch. I am astonished they got any stars at all from anyone ....let me say.we like Oishii in Newtown, pa....but the one in Ewing which by the way because we were at a hotel in the area for three months due to a home flood should actually close it's doors .....you rarely see anyone in there and we did three takeouts so I feel we got a fairly reasonable opportunity to critique this restaurant ....the first one was not bad.... But one of the sushi items...the fish was bad ....everyone there tasted it and agreed that it was bad so I called them and they said next time I came in to give them my phone number and they would give me a credit so this time when I went in I mentioned this and they said "we will only replace it with exactly what you had a problem with the first time!!!!!! Whaaat??! I didn't know whether to smack her or just laugh out loud but I explained to her that credit is the dollar amount and --I'm sorry but I'm not going to order something I had a problem with before !!! So I ordered..,,. I waited almost an hour for the takeout ....I had actually gone to do an errand and came back and they didn't have my order ....they told me it wasn't ready so I sat there for 10 minutes and a man came in Irate because he had gotten home and opened up his takeout and it was ours ....if she had only told us in the beginning and remade it since ours was very small and called this gentleman because she knew what she had done by then everyone would've been fairly happy...I might add that there were only three of us doing takeout at that time because it was around four in the afternoon and I have never picked up from an Asian restaurant that they didn't check the take-out order before they handed it to you .....from the food to the service..... this place is a disaster !!!! By the way they are not doing the Newtown location any favors because if I had gone here first I would never go to another location ....there was never an apology....there was never an offer of a spring roll or anything to be even close to good customer service ....they seem completely frazzled and confused and three visits I think is a fair amount of time to get them back on track but they just can't seem to do it read more

Loved, loved the sushi buffet and especially the spicy seaweed salad. Beautiful establishment, cozy, warm and stylish. The sushi "chef" were very eager to serve and explain dishes and the waitress very nice and hospitable. I thought East Sushi was my fav place but this rest topped it as for sushi goes. The sushi is ok at best I gave this place two separate chances to impress me. I did all you could eat buffet. I will say most frustrating thing ever when a place serves lunch till 3 and they charge you dinner price at 3:04. Also when they neglect to tell you and your party that Sunday doesn't have a lunch price because it's not listed on any sign or menu you are given in the restaurant. So in that regard their frugal attitude towards their customers and rudeness in response to the company's at that fact is just one reason I will not be returning here ever again. The next reason is the sushi, it's lacking greatly from them using three times the amount of rice that should be used on their nigiri. To everything just not tasting as fresh as masa or yummy or sushi palace. Lastly is the INCREDIBLY SLOW pace thru bring everything out at. The two tubes I tried the pace the restaurant was completely empty once and had a table of three the second time and that was it. It took them so.long to make such small quantities of everything it was amazing. Moral of the story if you want all you can eat sushi avoid this place like the plague take the trip to masa or sushi palace and you will be much happier. read more

For roughly the past year, I have been getting delivery from here on a nearly weekly basis. I must say I have never been disappointed. Delivery is very quick and they are always very careful in bagging the cold and hot items separately. Even when delivery does take longer than the usual 30 minutes or so, the drivers are apologetic. There really is no need, as I was ordering during lunch rush, but it's much better than someone with a pissed off look on their face and having your food thrown at you. But the food though, oh the food!!! Everything I have sampled so far has been fantastic or pretty close to it. The spicy crab jalapeno, wasabi shumai and tempura are all excellent choices as appetizers, though all the gyoza and shumai types I have tried have been tasty. As for the sushi, it has all been great. The spicy crunchy and spicy rolls (any variety of either really), eel avocado, shrimp tempura, and dancing dragon are some of my favorites. The rolls are normal sized, not too big or small, and have a good proportion of fish and vegetables to rice. Eating a pound of rice when ordering sushi is not my cup of tea. The hibachi meals are all very good too. The generous portions of meat/fish, veggies, and hibachi rice are outstanding. I really wish I could order the rice on its own as it is well seasoned and outstanding. Lastly, the fried ice cream is to die for. It has a very light tempura coating, much less fried than Mexican fried ice cream and a wonderful filling of ice cream and cheesecake. I really never noticed the cheesecake as it is definitely more ice cream but either way it's delicious. read more

The Shaky Dog Roll was creative with the coconut shrimp, but the flavor didn't standout against the crabmeat. Really no complaints just preference on the overall flavor of the rolls. The exterior of the building does not do the interior justice, but he club-like interior, soothing music, and phenomenal service was a wonderful surprise. Then, it came time to order.
