The service was always great. We visit this restaurant often when we are in the area. The food was delicious especially the duck dishes. The menu was not the one with most choices but sufficed. It's not a big restaurant but we never had problems getting seated. And it's a cute place. Chicken tamarind was fried chicken strips, not our favorite dish.

While visiting lambervile a small town in NJ we were getting hungry and I had a vegetarian company so we decided for Thai. Pru Thai was light there on the Main Street and we were pleased to get good service and food.

So YUMMY! The mango salad with tofu feast was such a different flavor - tangy, sour, sweet - a flavor bomb. The massaman curry had strong flavor. Chili noodles were also great - would recommend getting without egg. The ambiance was exquisite, it definitely sticks out amidst its quaint surroundings. Service was good as staff were constantly checking in on us.

Excellent service and very good food at Pru Thai! I enjoyed my Massaman Curry, but my husband's noodle dish was outstanding. He normally orders Drunken Noodles, but the waitress suggested a different noodle dish, also spicy and with beef. It was excellent and I'm sure he will order again the next time we're there. The restaurant is BYOB, so bring a bottle of wine for your next visit.

I had the spring rolls, chicken drunken noodles, and Thai ice tea for lunch. The atmosphere was quite pleasant, the waitress was very attentive but not over-bearing and the food was delicious. A wonderful find!

Great ambiance, service, and food! Food came out quickly and everyone was very attentive. The pad thai was on the sweet side, but not too sweet by any means - a good sweet! The drunken noodle tasted more like what I would have expected the pad see ew to taste like, but still enjoyed it. The chicken satay could have come with a little more peanut sauce in a larger saucer (which also would help with trying to dip the large skewer in a less awkward manner). Recommend!

Such friendly service! I love the beautiful and simple decor. Happy to see the royal family of Thailand photos. The food was absolutely delicious. I loved my papaya salad. The soup was a big hit, and the eggrolls were divine , the Jasmine tea was so fragrant and so delicious !! and the shrimp roll. Also fantastic. ! Comfortable seating and such a wonderful being so friendly with each other. Such a warm community !

I recently had dinner at Pru Thai in Lambertville, NJ, and it completely lived up to the hype. The service was excellent, attentive without being overbearing, and the prices were not bad at all considering the quality of the food and the atmosphere. The restaurant itself feels upscale and stylish, yet you do not get hit with the kind of over-the-top prices you might expect from a place with this kind of vibe. To start, I ordered the Pru Thai Combo appetizer, which was on the pricier side but absolutely worth it. It came with a wide variety of bites, each one packed with flavor, and it was a great way to sample different things before the main meal. For entrees, the chicken tamarind was incredible--light, crispy chicken covered in a mild sweet sauce that had just the right balance of flavors. It was so good I would recommend it to anyone on their first visit. I also tried the drunken man noodles with seafood, and that dish was just bursting with flavor. The portion was generous, and every bite had a perfect mix of noodles, spice, and fresh seafood. Based on flavor alone, this was honestly the best Thai food I have ever had. If you are anywhere near Lambertville and craving Thai, Pru Thai is a must try.

Great addition to the restaurant scene in chill Lambertville, NJ, across the Mighty Delaware River from over-wrought New Hope, PA. Pru Thai is the third in this local chain of now 3 kitchens in western Jersey (Pennington and Clinton being the earlier locations). Right on Bridge Street, a block from the blue steel truss spanning the ice crusted flow, it has the right colors, accoutrements, black & white tile floor and excellent service that gives warm ambiance to Thai culture. All that and real good food, too. We arrived early enough to avoid the crush of popularity, and had our choice of tables in the deep narrow dining room. Warmly greeted, we sat for a few reviewing the standard and Restaurant Week menus; deciding to go with the deeper list of daily dishes. Son went with Green Curry w Chicken, while this old man opted for Drunken Man Noodles w Beef (Pad Kee Mao), moderate heat and Tom Kha Soup w Veggies and Tofu. Everything was delicious. The curry was rich and creamy with nice texture from the chicken and greens. The soup strongly reported of galangal root and less of coconut, but an enjoyable interpretation of the breed. The Drunkens were hot and tasty from the fresh ingredients, tender beef and chili/lemongrass sauce. All the while, service was offered by all the servers with smiles and grace. We hung around long enough for sweet dessert as the house filled with customers. These folks need are larger space to attend their popularity. 5 Happy Buddha Stars for a job very well done.

I found…read moreSupa Thai listed on Yelp and in the mood for spicy noodles, and a little lemongrass in coconut soup, I jumped in the chariot for an upcountry drive. Beautiful cruise for early December, with peekaboo rain clouds dotting the horizon. I arrived about 3:00 in the afternoon when the large outdoor flea market was mostly concluded. I saw the red Supa Thai sign on the biggest wood building as I drove in and parked in the median across from the entry door. Walking in the restaurant was to the right crammed in the south end, with a small Thai grocery, clothing and furniture displays to the left. There was a lot going on there. For the moment I was the only customer, so there was time for conversation with Supa, the beautiful creative dynamo at the stove and her lovely sou chef. Captivated, I ordered Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles), Tom Kha Gai (Coconut Soup w Chicken), and Chili Puffs (chicken/mashed potato mix). I had to stop from getting more, as I watched the food being prepared and was tempted by everything on the menu. I took it all home with the seductive aroma lilting from the bag all the way down Aquatong, Taylorsville, and Washington Crossing Roads. Everything was plentiful and delicious. The Tom Kha Gai was full of fresh cut mushrooms, strips of chicken, onion, carrot, galangal, hint of lemongrass heat and sweet coconut milk. Loved it. The Pad Kee Mao was likewise loaded with fresh veggies, chicken and stove stop Thai sauce coating everything. Terrific, although it could have been hotter (I requested 'Thai Spicy'). Finally, the Chili Puffs were excellent with light thin pastry dough wrapped around tasty mashed potato/chicken mix and subtle spices. My family loved it all, too. Supa Thai is only open when Rice's Market is open (Tuesday\Saturday), with limited hours, so check before you come. She caters private parties, too. Aside from these business restrictions, it behooves anyone who joneses for Thai cuisine to get to Supa Thai at their earliest opportunity. She is the best Thai chef you will find in Bucks County and likely far beyond.

So we drove there but were not sure it was open. It was. Just dark. And some things on the menu were not available. But everyone was super nice and they brought us a menu that had what they offer in a blackout. With the flashlights we looked over the menu. They had probably about 8 customers not including the 2 of us. So they were trying to accommodate. I got the watermelon tomato gazpacho and the chick pea caesar salad. Both were very good. On the gazpacho I wish there was a bit more watermelon flavor and chunks. The salad was good. Very hearty. My friend got the mushroom po boy. She liked it as well. The server was very nice and attentive. The lights eventually came back on about 3/4 the way through our meal. So now we could see. The place is cute and the fans were welcome on a humid evening. You have to pay to park. And the restaurant is all the way down on the right. The area is very cute and kinda touristy. The only down side besides paying to park are the prices. Just because it's vegan doesn't mean it's cheap. It's not. Prices are higher. Just for my soup and salad my dinner was $28. I guess that could be standard but I got soup and a salad. But it was good. I would go back, just not often. Overall good experience in a challenging evening with the blackout.
