I heated my left overs up last night.... and with a nice home made salad, it was quite a treat. There is parking in the back of the restaurant that is free. Should it be full there is a parking lot across the street that requires a license plate number and a credit/debit card and the fee is only $1 per hour. I plan to put this restaurant on my list of favorites. One side had a king bed, and the other had a pull-out couch with a table and chairs. Both rooms had their own bathrooms, which was actually a huge win. Ladies... you know how nice it is to have your own bathroom while traveling. He used one, I used the other. Zero sharing. The absolute best part? They are SO dog friendly. They provide bowls and dog beds, and they even give your pup treats. It made traveling with our dog feel easy and welcome. Location-wise, you really can't beat it. It's right across from the Village and the closest lift is the Tram, which is a huge plus when you're clunking around in ski boots. Being that close makes ski mornings (and afternoons) so much easier. We had a mini fridge in the room, and you can rent a microwave for $25 for the stay -- totally worth it for us. The front desk staff was amazing. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. They gave great recommendations for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and even offered road safety tips when we were heading out. The hotel also has a restaurant/bar on-site that's open Thursday through Monday. We were able to eat there one night and it was delicious. My only complaint? I wish it were open seven days a week! Another great perk for skiers: they'll hold your skis behind the front desk, which is such a convenient touch. We can't wait to come back. Perfect spot for a ski trip -- especially if you're bringing your dog along.
