    a menu for rice bowl

Great food, but stupid machine. If you're unlucky, you won't get any food. This is a vending machine. At lunch time, the family before me placed 2 orders, none came out. The machine was also stuck and wouldn't allow any more orders. They were calling the "questions & assistance" phone number on the machine, but I didn't see any progress and decided to leave. At dinner time, the machine looked better because more food was sold out. I tried to place the orders one at a time to avoid the same issue at lunch time. But the 3rd order failed after it charged my credit card, and the machine was again stuck in the same state that doesn't allow any more orders. (See the error message in the attached photo.) I tried calling the "questions & assistance" number twice, but both got redirect to voicemail after 2 minutes' wait. I was lucky enough to find the manager at KT Base Bar. According to him, the machine isn't owned by KT Base Bar; they got a new machine every year for 3 years straight, but it still had a lot of issues like what I encountered; if I could leave a message at the the "questions & assistance" number, I should at least get a refund. So I tried to call the number the 3rd time, which actually got responded by a human. He probably fixed the machine remotely and gave me a promotion code, so I finally got my 3rd order. The food we got is great. (We ordered Taiwan Beef Noodle, Beef Pho and Chicken Teriyaki Rice.) But the entire process took more than 20 minutes. So YMMV.

Seemed like it would be great, but alas. Scrolled through nine pages of noodle soups and zero were in stock. Super disappointing.

Surprisingly tasty. If you can overlook the super unsafe heated plastic full of cancer.

This was a nice surprise at squaw. I had the pho, and it was really tasty. I want to get one of these machines at my home resort.

Toasty noodles, flavorful soup, and portioned just right. The poke bowl was just OK, and they forgot to put eggs in two out of three of our bowls. However, they were quick to remedy when asked so appreciated that. Service is just alright too. It took a minute for the staff to acknowledge and seat our group, and they didn't check on our table very much. Overall, I recommend this spot!

The restaurant was not busy when we walked in (about 2-3 tables) but it got busier afterwards. Due to the restaurant not being super busy, they only had one employee waiting on us and the initial wait for our food was about 15-20 minutes. Later on, it appeared more staff came in and additional ordered items appeared faster. Items ordered: Green tea- great nutty flavor and perfect for fellow green tea lovers! Free refills Spicy cucumber - they used Persian cucumbers and this was a small dish. Taste was fine but I prefer the Northern Chinese style spicy cucumber over this one (if you compare these two dishes) Garnet Ramen - Good dish and delicious broth! Hubby enjoyed this. Pearl Ramen - I really enjoyed the clear broth and subtle but good mix of flavors. I preferred these noodles over the Garnet as these are thinner. Quartz Ramen - The creamy broth was my second favorite and the amount of chicken, fried onions, and broccolini were a nice touch. Kid's chicken karaage x2 - kids enjoyed this a lot Kids' Ramen- this came with just noodles, corn, and broth (your selection). Kiddo enjoyed the Quartz broth, so we selected Quartz. Even though tea had free refills, I had to ask our waiter for a refill. I know he was busy, so it wasn't a big deal.

I like the menu a lot, short a seasonallly driven by chef's creativity. We decided to order a 2023 Chateauneuf-du-Pape bottle which paired perfectly with duck, lamb, pork, oxtail, deer, and beets. We shared some appetizers. Their bread is so good that we asked for another loaf. The Ahi Tuna Crudo was fresh and balanced. The cold cut platter was delicious. We were full but wanted to share 2 desserts because the sweet ending menu was so attractive. Great food and wine with a spectacular view of Lake Tahoe and live music. Service was excellent and detailed attention with 2 minute checkbacjs, silverware replacement after each course, water refilling, and before desserts arrived, the table was clear out. Proper wine service by the Matre D who happened to know UCF and Orlando well. Our family had a great dining experience.

Our server, who was from Brazil, was so bubbly, friendly and made the experience more fun. She seemed to be taking care of almost the entire place and still made everyone feel seen. We ordered the lobster roll and the duck bánh mì, and both were good. My only note is that the lobster roll seemed to be mostly shrimp, so at $33 it felt a little overpriced. You are really paying for the view! One of our orders did take a while to come out, but our server was super apologetic and comped the dish, which we really appreciated. Overall, good food, warm service, and an unbeatable view.

We made a pit stop, and ordered their Kimchi Spam Rice Bowl, along with Pork Rib Soybean Paste Soup. The order also came with banchan, side dishes with cucumber, radish, and kimchi. The Kimchi Spam Rice Bowl had a good mix of ingredients and was delicious. The Pork Rib Soybean Paste Soup was flavorful and has a good kick to it. There are other dishes on the menu that look interesting, but perhaps next time. The Miscellaneous The Moon's Korean Kitchen is along US-50, about midway between Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe. You can miss it if you zoom through the highway. The restaurant is not super big per say, but there's a decent amount of seating for its size. During the time we went, it seemed like the owner was soloing the entire place. But the food came at a reasonable time. The restaurant doesn't have an extensive menu, but it's straightforward with variety. There are appetizers with barbeque, stews, noodles, amongst others. Though it is not a place one would visit often, they do have yummy food. Would recommend making the pit stop if you are around the area.

Clean and comfortable, with a lot of eclectic and funny signs throughout. Feels more like a quick meal spot than somewhere you'd stay a while. Service was good. Everyone was friendly and things ran smoothly. We had the tuna summer roll, fried gyoza, shoyu ramen, and tonkatsu ramen. The summer roll was fresh but pretty standard. The gyoza had a nice crisp, but the filling was just okay. The shoyu ramen was light but a little flat, and the tonkatsu ramen was richer but didn't really stand out. I am a business woman so I show lots of patience especially when there was a new server definitely doing her best. We were seated off to a corner again no worries gave some privacy. Food delicious loved the ramen husband and I tried two different ones and we both very much enjoyed them. I loved the cucumber salad surprisingly my husband did too usually he doesn't like that sort of thing like vinegar cucumber etc but he definitely appreciated this one sweet and tangy. Tried two rolls Togo the mango one my husband was very hesitant due to past experience but family enjoyed including my husband. Husband and I both go Thai tea Boba and that was the best way to end the night. Definitely recommend, they also gave us complementary mochi ice cream and edamame due to the mix up and wait which we appreciated.
