Where do I Begin with my one star? Let's start with walking in the door, we were yelled at to take a seat at the bar, which I found wildly inappropriate and should've turned around and left at that point. I have ordered sushi to be delivered from here a few times And recalled it being just OK. As it was my birthday, I was out with my daughter and decided to actually sit down and eat. Next we walked over to the bar seating, and as we were walking, our feet were sticking to the dirty floor. Making loud sticky noises every time we stopped. Following that a waitress walked up and introduced herself, asked us for our drink order, and I asked her what one of the trays was and she told me, it was crunchy crawfish. Having not heard of that before and a simple sushi lunch I asked her crawfish? Not shrimp? And she said crawfish. There was nothing pleasant about this waitress at all. It was one of the most cringe moments I think I've had in a long time. She was snippy, and clearly not wanting to be there. When she walked away, my daughter asked if we should leave and I said no because I knew she was hungry. We got our different dishes from the sushi bowls, one plate I decided not to eat at all, it was so fishy, the other place we did eat and try a few different things. Every thing we tried had a fishy taste to it which lets me know that they are not using clean surfaces or clean knives in between the roll prep. At this point, I started watching them prepare the food. I was horrified. Not only was there no rag nearby to even clean their food prep surface, they were doing roll after roll after roll and laying raw fish on the cutting boards and then cutting them and putting them in rolls. Additionally, they took boxes and other containers and sat that directly on the food prep surface where the fresh food had just been, took what they needed out of the containers and put the box and containers away. The cross-contamination, the bacteria, and God knows what that were on the bottoms of those boxes and containers that was wiped all over where they are laying our food was horrendous. The miso soup was very good. The mochi was very good. The sushi was awful. It was below average and nothing should've had a fishy taste. Fish shouldn't have a fishy taste like that. Subsequently, the other waitress walked by and I asked her to please keep the other waitress from waiting on us, and we would like to have her please get our tabs so we could wrap up. The waitress I was talking to, at this point was very kind and attentive. as we walked over to the cashier, our shoes were sticking to the floor enough that people noticed. This is a dirty restaurant, completely breaking health and safety regulations, and I will never go there again. I hope that they read this and do some thing about their health code violations. I imagine if that's what I saw and they are doing that in front of people, what's going on where we can't see? Two out of 10 I do not recommend. I was driving through the area and needed to have a little bite to eat to hold me over for the rest of my drive. I looked on yelp and saw this was one of the most popular sushi conveyors around. It is right by the University, so I thought probably would be fresh. When I arrived, there weren't many folks in there. The conveyor was full and going though. I sat down and was asked what I would like to drink immediately. How does Sapporo. They have big or small:-) I started off with a ichi roll. Crab and avocado on the inside with a cooked shrimp, sweet chili sauce, and sesame seeds on top. Super tasty and really fresh. I felt like it had not been sitting very long. The second thing I tried was seared salmon. Beautifully seared on top and very tender salmon with a little hoisin and Sriracha mayonnaise. So good. I last but surly also enjoyed, salmon Kama, or salmon, color was delicious. Deep fried crunchy skin pieces, and bits of delicious, juicy salmon. I enjoy the fatty gelatinous pieces as well. Dip the whole thing in soy, wasabi, and a little Sriracha mayonnaise. Tasty. This place was clean, decently, priced, and the staff was attentive. they got quite busy. Always a good thing I had a place like this. They had a piece of cheesecake and another traditional kind of mousse dessert. They Have the Sushi Carrousel up and running! So not only the best Miso and Udon soup place, you can get a bit of normalcy from a quick sushi lunch! I stopped by to order a quick lunch of Udon and saw they had sushi galore running in front of me. So I decided to sit down and have a sushi lunch without limits! The day we moved across the state was a hot and tiring day. Five hours of driving, several more hours waiting for the moving crew to unload our stuff, and unpacking only what was immediately necessary. We were beyond exhausted. I looked up a local sushi place because my options for take out are limited due to celiac disease. They had my order ready in less than 30 minutes! Pick up was easy and the cost was very inexpensive. Six rolls for less than $30! On the east side of the Cascades, I could get maybe three rolls for that price. My first order was in 2020. I've now ordered via PostMates 48 times, and have never been disappointed nor have I gotten sick. The food is delicious, simple, and inexpensive, and the price is perfect for a limited budget. I've never eaten in the restaurant, and have no intention of dining in any restaurant at any point in the near future. Had a great time here on a daddy-daughter date with my oldest. We had a blast and both the food and customer service was great. The location, parking, and atmosphere are great. It's easy to find, nice and bright with lots of room. And the conveyor belt is the coolest. They use magnets so it looks like the plates are just gliding on the counter. My 8yr old loved it and thought it was so cool. The sushi options are great, everything from the very basic to the more complicated. Even after four or five plates, you aren't going to pay that much. It's a great price for a great meal. I highly recommend this place. Seeing as they are new I encourage everyone to go and help keep them in business. Worth it! I always go to this place and the food is always amazing but I went to go get some sushi tonight 2/1/24 and the waitress that was worked denied me a seat because I was alone and it was the "dinner rush" as she said so I was not allowed to sit down at a small table that was open. The waitress was rude and was talking down to me as if I was stupid when I politely asked if there was a table that I could sit at. I came back for a second time after originally attending their soft opening. The design of this place is modern and inviting. I love the colorful layout and the clean place settings around the conveyer belt. Lots of fresh options on the conveyer belt with multiple other choices for you to order off the menu. The color coding for the plates makes it easy to see how much you are spending and the small portion size is good for those who want to try lots of options. A fun place for conveyor belt sushi in Springfield. We've had a few good experiences in-person in the past few years. Today we grabbed DoorDash delivery from here and it was pretty good. We had some salmon nigiri that was tasty and not fishy. We had a few small rolls, the dragon roll was our favorite. All rolls were nicely sauced. We got the sesame ball for a little sweet treat, they tasted fresh and crispy. I'm a bigger fan of the in-person experience, but overall a decent weekday lunch. read more

Half way through our meal I needed something, our server hadn't been by in quite a while, and every time I tried to flag someone down (the sushi chefs right next to us) they acted like they were blind. We just visited this place tonight because Apple Maps said they were open until 9pm. We showed up at 8:15pm and were seated and told that last call for orders was in 5 minutes and they closed at 8:30pm. I grabbed a couple plates off the conveyor and my partner wanted to order a few small things off the menu. Nobody came to ask us about drinks or to check if we wanted to order anything. We made eye contact and tried to wave down a server and they looked away as they continued cleaning. We stopped another employee and asked if we could order, and he said he'd go get someone to help us. We waited 15 minutes for someone to come and help and nobody came. We walked to the register to pay, another employee gave us our bill but then walked away instead of checking us out. After another 5 minutes the person that sat us down came by and asked if we were ready to pay. The place is not that big and there were at least 6 employees working but nobody stopped to help us at any point. The conveyor sushi was completely bland and unremarkable. My stomach at the end of the night was hurting really bad and the last thing I ate was sushi from Oishii with my partner. We both felt nauseous and queasy, we both ended up going to urgent care since we both figured the food made us sick. Good idea to have chefs make food and set it down on machine that runs in a circle around the bar. Stopped in for dinner on a Saturday night and place was busy. Seats in front of chefs aka conveyer belt were full and tables to order off menu were also full. This is usually a good sign and it was. If you are in a hurry sit at the sushi bar and experience fast food sushi like we did. Two of us spent about $50 total and left very full and satisfied. They are not doing Indoor dining or conveyer belt sushi right now. There are three tables outside for outdoor dining. The rolls come in sets of about four based on what you order. The menu has pictures to let you know how many come with your order. They have a nice color coding to inform you of prices. The shrimp vegetable tempura doesn't come with rice or noodles. The salmon Kama is hot, messy, smooth, salty and peppery. The restaurant has nice artwork on the wall but a lot of box clutter. The music playing is not japanese, just American pop. Very casual atmosphere. Edit: got diarrhea the day after eating here. I know this restaurant was to blame because certain members in my party did not eat the food here, but we all shared food at the other place we went to. Only the people who ate a certain sushi roll here got Diarrhea. The one who ate other food here did not get diarrhea. read more

I hadn't been in this area for a while, and was intrigued by the appealing logo that caught my eye. After a long and trying day, me and the bf spontaneously decided to drop in around 8:30 (about half an hour before closing) the other day for a light meal. Even being so late and close to closing, there were still a decent amount of people there, and we were met with friendly greetings. The decor and lighting makes for a fresh, clean and current setting, pleasing to the eye. We were pleased to find salmon kama on the menu, as well as takoyaki. The salmon kama tasted a bit like fried chicken the way it was seasoned and fried, with a crisp skin. The takoyaki was decent, nice and piping hot, with dancing bonito flakes, but a bit lacking in octopus. There is a large variety of items on the menu, not just sushi! If we weren't so pressed for time, I would have liked to to ordered one of the dishes. All in all, even if this isn't the most top notch conveyor belt sushi restaurant, it's definitely above average! It's especially great knowing that I don't have to go all the way to Salem for sushi, the only other place where I've eaten at so far.
