Jeremy was super chill. I visit Oja Valley Brewery with my family and my little fur friend and it was definitely a hot day. Super dog friendly and they have a dog beds under the pool table. Our dog Goro was panting pretty hard and Jeremy offered us that we can try to wash him down in the sink which I was very touched as lot of places are not like this. When we walked in the live band was setting up to leave but very spacious place and they have a great selection of beers and wines. Jeremy said he makes beer and his wife makes wine there. He even had the TV set up for the World Cup game. We ended up sitting inside due to heat but outside was super cute spot to sit. They have firepits and plenty of seating areas. We tried Pixie and J.F.B. and opted in for the large beer. Definitely a pot that we will return if we ever go back to Ojai. read more

Cute spot just a bit off the main road! There's parking in the back a the spot itself has a decent amount of seating outside, as well as a poool table inside and other games to play outdoors. The bartender was great and friendly. There's both beer and wine to choose from, and you can get glasses or tasting of either! You get to choose which 4 you want in your tasting. I opted for wine and my boyfriend beer. As a dark beer fan that one was his favorite, and I enjoyed all of mine but liked the Syrah best. Good vibes and I can see how this place probably gets packed in the summertime. We will be back! read more

Of all the days we decided to visit Ojai. Labor Day weekend and to top it off, a freakin HOT weekend. After seeing how crowded the main strip was, we wanted to get away from the crowd and have something nice and cold. We could have just done our usual at one of the tasting room's nearby but a nice cold beer was definitely needed. This place popped up on maps while trying to find something cold. It's a couple min drive from downtown or a nice walk if it wasn't that hot. Hidden on a side street, we came upon this cute little gem. Brewery itself was quite big in size. There's a small parking lot along the side as well as street parking. When we arrived it was mellow. A couple of people sitting outside. They offer a nice big patio with picnic style tables and covered umbrellas. It's also pet friendly which was perfect as we had our little pup with us. Not only beer, there's wine tasting as well. When we walked in, there was a pool table which was being utilized by one of the staff or owner. A sweet gentleman. Having a round while it was mellow. The bar area, pretty big in size with counter seating. The selections of beer and wine were nice. Also size options available. A good selection to choose from but we narrowed it down to the Mexican lager and hard lemonade. I know, completely different but it was worth the try. Both very refreshing and went down really well with the heat. Within 10 minutes or so after we sat down, it started to pick up with people coming in. Good thing we found a seat as it was getting pretty full. Not only that, there was a band setting up. Could be the reason that's what brought people in for the show. They also happened to have a food vendor on hand. Shuck Brothers, fresh oyster and seafood. Everything on the menu sounded delicious but we literally ate half an hour prior. But they had me at oyster. Half dozen of the west and east coast shucked right there for you. The gentleman working was a hoot. Very sweet and friendly and even through we just meet, it was like chit chatting with a friend. First taste, very fresh and tasty. There's also all condiments on hand to add to your oysters. It was great and would definitely order more. The band was quite nice. I'm not sure how often a band performs but they did bring a nice crowd with them this afternoon. Overall, we were glad that we found this gem. Would we be back, definitely. Pet friendly, great service, friendly vibe. What more to say. read more

Wow I loved this place, what a hidden gem of Ojai. I really enjoyed the hard lemonade. Definitely try it if you like seltzer. We came here on a Wednesday night when a vendor serves BBQ. Highly recommend! read more

We had a beer and a Malbech and it was cozy inside and there were also firepits to sit beside outdoors. They had a billiards table and unfortunately our band was cancelled because of the possibility of rain. We will definitely back next time there's live music available. I enjoyed the selection of beers I sampled and settled on a Pilsner but the cocoa cinnamon sample was amazing. read more

Spent the afternoon at Ojai Valley Brewery. It a great spot to grab a beer and hang out with friends. They have a wide variety of beers an nonalcoholic options on the menu. The staff came over and turned on the fire pit when the sun started to go down. The seating was limited and we had to pull over chairs to fit the group but overall it's a place where you can have a mellow day spending time with friends with some good beer. read more

I like Ojai and saw that there was a local brewery here, Topa Topa has a taproom here but I don't think they make anything on site. OVB is off the main drag but it's a relatively easy walk, there are some parts that don't have a sidewalk but it's not too bad. The space here is nice, a huge dog-friendly patio with cornhole and fire pits. To be honest, none of their beers really stuck out at me so I ended up getting their sampler with a small upcharge for their barrel aged beer. The most enjoyable selection I had was their gluten-free beer. While I can appreciate their approach of using local ingredients for adjuncts they were okay. read more

We stopped in for a beer and had a good time. It's a bit off the main streets of Ojai which is fine as it's a quiet street. Good selection of beers. Not a huge fan of the peat gravel sitting area with wooden picnic tables and industrial chairs. Rather minimalist. No tv's to watch any sports but they do have a few games you can play. Not a bad place to stop for a drink though if you are in Ojai. read more

Worst Wine ever. I asked the attendant to suggest the best wine at the house. And I ordered the sample which it came of 4 different wines. But not even a single one was good. I asked him if I can change it to a beer. And he told me that there were no refunds which I was not asking for it. I just wanted to have a good time and have good drinks. But his attitude as totally well, I can't do anything about it. So my whole experience was out the door. Bad bad. There are a lot more places around the area where you can actually have a good time and better drinks. So I don't recommend this place all. read more

Visited here while on a quick getaway with my daughter in Ventura county. I've tried their pixi brew about two years ago, and fell in love! We decided to stop by again & I was pleased to see that they now had this brewery with a nice aesthetic & vibe! They had a pool table, tons of games, a huge outdoor patio, where I heard they host, shows, and wonderful staff! While there I did a flight of four beers, Hannah attended to us, and we enjoyed her company very much! I told her that pixi was my favorite & just set me up with a flight of drinks that I might like based on that and she did not disappoint! I pretty much loved all of the drinks in the flight! A wonderful host, we had small talk about reality shows, and the culture of Ojai, and even met one of the wine makers who was so sweet and greeted us while we were there! This is the part I love about Ventura County and places like this that make our escapes from LA well worth the trip. Thank you Ojai brewery for the wonderful time and chatting with Hannah! read more

The staff here is so friendly and attentive. I've been here a few times and it doesn't matter who is working, they all have that welcoming vibe. The food is delicious and they have so many choices of booze you can not be disappointed. Wish they had cheese sauce for their pretzels though. read more

Great brewery at the edge of town (totally walkable). Had the chance to meet the owner who gave us all the info on the large selection of beers and was super engaging.
