Came to this local grocery store with the fam after a mediocre dining experience at Rory's Place that left us hungry and thirsty for some more wine. We LOADED up on snacks and a couple bottles of Pinot Noir to get our first night of vacation rockin. As we were checking out, I spotted a HUGE pumpkin with a sign that read "guess the weight and win the pumpkin." I guessed 130 lbs, but don't think I won because I never got a call smh. Only local businesses do this kind of quirky stuff, and I love it. So much soul. As dissapointed as we were from that dinner, it will be a great family memory for years. "Remember when we had that mouse food meal with terrible service, and went to the grocery store after and just sat in our hotel room, ate snacks, drank wine, and talked the night away until we were delirious?" It's nice to know you're in a core memory when you are actually in one. Thank you Westridge Market, for being there in our time of need and lifting us from the abyss of hunger and thirst, and for giving us this family memory. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov_reviews

I like this location on the outskirts of Ojai with plenty of parking, and ability to pull out on to the main street with less traffic. The store crams in lots of items for such a small store. The wine section is vast, so a good choice to seeking wine. Service is efficient and has a small town locals feel. There is also a small deli section in the back.

Small upscale store with a large selection of wine and craft beer, but limited choices otherwise. I stopped in while camping nearby and was looking for something to take back to the campsite that didn't require cooking (we're in the middle of a fire ban). The deli is above average and their London Broil sub sandwich is so good I returned to get another for another one the next day.

Prices are not cheap, so I usually only go here when I need something specific, but they do tend to have what I'm looking for. I haven't ordered at the deli counter before, but the selection there looks good too. Store is clean and well stocked, and the staff has always been helpful for me. Last time I went in I needed some freeze dried strawberries and couldn't find them on my own, and when I asked at the cash register, the young woman walked me to them herself. I would recommend stopping in to see if this is the kind of store you want for your grocery needs. I like it. :)

I had to call one over, and she asked me to walk to her instead of coming to the cashier. I ordered a hamburger with just cheese and a juice (which I repeated twice). The juice never came, and the burger arrived with lettuce and tomato. The attitude from the staff was not friendly, and even others in line noticed. Great food, but service is part of the experience. I hope they improve their customer service.

It's located in a parking lot behind the main strip and in a residential area. All street parking but it tends to be pretty easy. There's a bakery vendors that I've had a few times but they do sell out quite fast. Their fresh baked bread and sweets are one not to be missed. This visit, they weren't there in their usual section so I assume they were pretty much sold out fast. Loads of fresh organic vendors with all their goods. As it was summer, there were so many vendors with amazing tomatoes. Heirlooms, grape tomatoes and so all. Everything all looked so fresh and I'm sure it was straight from the farm that morning. Also loads of other vendors selling their homemade goods, like soap to candles to everything in between. Majority of the vendors are fresh produce so you know you'll be picking up fresh farm products. Also fresh flowers are always a must when a visiting the farmers market. Can't forget the fresh berries and fruits. Doesn't scream summer without all the fresh berries straight of the plant. Regardless what you're looking for or not, I'm sure you'll always leave with plenty of fresh things at this market. Their items are always so fresh. A must whenever I'm Ojai. I also appreciated that Centri Coffee was there so that I could buy some whole beans.

It was shocking to see they were able to take on a few closed down stores and expand. The store inside is much better than it was, which is why I'm sure it has been hurt by bad reviews. It's still small inside but has much more space than before. Their pricing is not that competitive on most items with an employee owned competitor store in Ventura really winning the battle of affordability. I hold off by going to this store unless it's urgent and I need some items. I don't shop here as a norm as what is sold here typically is sold at that store I referenced for much cheaper. However it's convenient and I'm sure many will pay the extra to avoid the commute to Ventura. I will say the employees here are much friendlier than they used to be. The staff explained that the balsamic vinegars are imported, while all of their olive oils are produced in-house, except for the truffle oil since the local soil isn't suitable for growing truffles. After that, you head over to the tasting section where you can grab samplers of the olive oils and balsamic vinegars before finding a seat outside under the olive trees. The flavored balsamics were interesting and fun to taste, though I still personally preferred the classic options. Overall, such a fun and worthwhile stop if you're in the Ojai area.
