What a beautiful place! Very zen, relaxing and peaceful (at times). Service was very nice, staff was helpful and accommodating. We purchased a day pass spent a couple hours and explored all the pools and soaking areas. I recommend bringing your own towel or robe as their towels are small, thin and don't dry well. Although, you can always exchange your wet towel for a new dry towel as you'd like. This place could be a very magical and relaxing place but allowing phones takes away from the experience. People don't respect the "whispering of conversations" and that ruins the whole point. We had no idea they had a puppy patch! They foster puppies through an animal shelter and you can go hang out with them and play with them. It was very cute! They also have chickens that you can feed. Overall beautiful property. I'd come back for sure and try the private soak.

We enjoyed our day at Ojo with some things to work on. The natural springs are relaxing but the spas themselves definitely need some maintenance as they have a lot of wear and tear. The service was mixed. My service (massage and facial) was great but my husband's was not so seems very provider dependent. Also they never gave us a tour which was unusual and required us to find things on our own. Overall there is another soaking spa in Santa Fe that I prefer more but this is still a nice option.

Mixed experience--the resort is beautiful! A tucked away haven outside SF. We came Tuesday-Thursday, off season in hopes of smaller crowds. Our check-in process was seamless and access to our rooms was easy. The wristbands are genius. Rooms are nice--nothing fancy. Pools themselves are ok. Most are warm enough, but not hot. But since it's not actual from-the-spring water, the temps would vary more. The vibe: twenty-something influencers. Most pools are crowded and noise levels are not enforced. Every single pool had some twenty-something doing a video. Need a phone free zone. And noise--We had a bachelorette party that was loud AF. No matter where we went, there they were. The saltwater pool was screaming teenagers playing chicken on shoulders. Fine for waterpark; not for spa. The long pool was nice temp, but little shade. And it wasn't skimmed or filtered, so there was quite a bit of floating stuff by the end of the day. It's a nice idea being so close to SF/Abq. The rooms and grounds are beautiful. But the lack of peaceful environment and meh pools give this a solid 3-stars.

This is my second time visiting Ojo Santa Fe, and this time it was just my husband and me. What can I say? We enjoyed every minute! Everyone in the office/boutique was so friendly and took the time to chat with us, even with the long line behind us. So kind. A day of relaxation and connection--a beautiful day! I wish I lived closer so we could go every week!

Had a 50 minute massage with Wayne that was absolutely amazing. This was not your typical rub-oil-on-your-back experience. He sought areas of musculofascial dysfunction and directly addressed them with a variety of techniques. I feel great! The waiting area is calm and soothing with water and tea available. Stayed at the resort. The rooms are simple. A/C works well. They desperately need hook to hang up towels/swimsuits in the bathroom. Pools did not feel overcrowded. Great stargazing at night-saw a shooting star from the pool.

I gave it another try today and it was a little better. I think I've figured out what works. Go as soon as they open on the weekend (10am), start with the pools at the entrance, and work your way back as it gets crowded. By 12 it was packed. People weren't as belligerently loud as last time but there were still groups with zero social awareness. I have an extra star cause the staff was much kinder. It's also kind of annoying that the steam room seems to have been out of order the last two times I've gone.

Ojo Santa Fe offers a free day pass on your birthday (just show your ID), and it is the best way to get some rest and relaxation. The mineral pools are clean, with a variety of different temperatures in the different pools across the property. I love coming in the winter to enjoy the hot temps in the cold weather!

I've always wanted to do a hot spring experience, so with some digging, my girlfriend found this spot for us to experience. Its off I-25 to the west and in a residential area. It's a beautiful resort with plenty of beautiful accents, including a pond with a deck facing the spa on one side and the Blue Heron restaurant on the other. The atmosphere was very peaceful from start to finish. We got a day pass to take advantage of the springs that had three different temperatures. After getting the run down, they gave you a wristband to open your locker with a towel inside. You have the option of going to the hot springs that fit a good number of people, or a sauna session above the springs. Across the way is a pool and a big jacuzzi for many people to enjoy. After being in the 104 degree hot spring, i went to go lay down on a recliner that next to it had a pair of hammocks. Those are no longer my kind of thing so i got dry and we walked around the pond, past the walking meditation path and into the pool area. It was a large pool, but we seemed to have been fooled thinking it was an 84 degree pool. It was cold but felt good after being in the hot springs. The day was getting late, so we returned for one more session before calling it a day at the spa. The experience was very enjoyable. I had some pain in my legs from so much hiking and the springs helped alleviate that. The one thing they lacked, was extra towels. There were none to be found, and they weren't very big. You had to make good use of the one you had so, that was a minor drawback. I was very happy with the experience and happy to have been in a hot spring. I would recommend anyone visiting the central New Mexico area to check this spot out. It is beautiful.

Had a wonderful birthday here! (Did you know that NM residents can get in for free to either Ojo location on their birthdays??) I got access to the locker room (and a towel), several soaking pools, and the sauna room. The fire pit and the hammocks were nice touches and the scenery was great and there were several ducks at the main pond to watch. The closer pools were supposed to be cooler than the rectangular pools, but I found the opposite to be true. It was mostly women there and a constant stream of people arriving, even for a weekday. 2025 #2

Booked a private soaking here and it came with access to all the pools for the day, the steam room and just enjoying the peace and tranquil atmosphere of the resort. The 50 minute- soaking was great on its own, quiet, listening to the airplanes flying in (yes there's an airport nearby) and the chirping of the birds nearby. The euchalipyus steam room was amazing! Took advantage and went in twice to soak it all in. So relaxing. The rest of the pools range from size to water temperature and depending on what some people enjoy the most , they may be a little more crowded than others. The one I enjoyed the most was #11, a rectangular pool with warmer water and surrounded by nature, lounge chairs etc. They also have a regular salt water pool, #14 where you will find a more diverse crowd from younger to older. This is basically your typical pool temperature and vibe. The grounds alone are very relaxing, there are areas where you can just stop and enjoy nature as you walk around the property. You can also stay on the grounds if you choose or simply buy a day pass to enjoy their amenities. So fun and so worth it!

Ajo Santa Fe Resort & Spa was a very pleasant experience overall. It's quite a drive into a rural area, which I personally enjoyed for the sense of tranquility and serenity. We arrived early and checked in at the front desk, where they provided us with bathrobes and towels so we could begin soaking before our official 3 p.m. check-in. That was a nice touch. We walked around the property beforehand it was quiet, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. The landscaping is lovely, and there weren't many people around, which added to the relaxing atmosphere. At the spa, we received bracelets for locker access. I had forgotten my sandals, and when we asked about slippers, the staff was very courteous and provided them. We later learned slippers are included with overnight stays, which was appreciated. We did run into a small issue with the bracelets not consistently opening doors first mine didn't work, then later my husband's didn't so we had to return a couple of times to have them reactivated. It wasn't a major issue, but it did interrupt the flow of the experience slightly. The food was delicious. We had lunch in a charming area with a window view, and the staff thoughtfully seated us so we could enjoy it. That detail didn't go unnoticed. One small observation: when we asked to take leftovers, I noticed our server packed other guests' food & placed them into bags but handed ours to us unpacked. It wasn't a big issue, but consistency in service matters, and it stood out. Another observation was that they had a toucheorming note for my husband which was his birthday along with wine and desserts. Overall, the resort is beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. With a few small improvements, the experience could be even better.

My friend and i had a wonderful day visit to this location. I booked the private soak which included admission for 2, robes, a locker, and all day access. We had excellent service all around. We will be back. Great place for a girl's trip!!

Even the carpets and rugs were beautiful. They do have a restaurant and room service. They have a complementary breakfast cooked to order which is something I have never seen before. Unfortunately we were so tired the next day we missed the breakfast, but we will definitely book another stay in this hotel. The reception area is beautiful and has lovely couches and sitting areas. The paperwork in the rooms is extremely thorough and will tell you everything you need to know, from room service to if you have difficulty parking your car to nearby restaurants and sightseeing. I did not read all of the paperwork when I first got to the hotel and in the morning I called for coffee to be delivered to my room. I later saw that coffee is actually set out for guests in the reception area so the woman who brought me the coffee really only did it out of kindness. I definitely felt like this hotel gives five star service.

I've only stayed here once - but I'm gonna go out on a limb and give it a 5…read more Because when I've stayed in Santa Fe in the past, it's usually abt 3 blocks away, still definitely walkable, certainly very nice, but not as central as this. And they didn't hv any 2 bed rooms available. So I found this place And in that week between Christmas and New Year's we still wanted to catch the Christmas lights and farolitos And if you too are about location, location, location This was perfect If you've ever had to drive to Santa Fe, you know that parking can be a bear -- and it was, with a lot of the main streets blocked off in anticipation of NYE celebrations. The hotel is actually quite a large, sprawling complex, much deeper that what might be assumed when pulling in. We got there mid-afternoon so could park rt in front of our first floor room. I hadn't even thought about that but my creaky knees were happy and quite relieved to only hv to haul my wee bag up 7 steps or so. Check in was easy, if a bit crowded, as a lot of regulars like to show up a bit early too. The doorman was a very polite young man and everyone made us feel welcome. The older gentleman at the counter was a font of information And made sure we knew abt the Happy Hour Short and sweet Whatever you do: try the biscochitos! (The official NM state cookie, fyi - for a reason - when done right, and these definitely are!) Everything was very clean Even with all the Christmas decorations and greenery out There's an excellent restaurant on site And when they say there's "a bit of a kick", and shd you be a wuss like me, order the spicy on the side. Staff was very considerate abt this. And breakfast is pretty good too! And it was so easy to walk to everything, stuff I usually don't get to see bc I'm usually on the other side of town. All in all, a lovely stay

The open space is where the second vanity is. I liked that you could have that open (for airflow after showers) or closed at night.
