They carry Open Farm wet and dry cat food, which is what my kitties eat. They have a wide variety of other premium cat and dog foods to choose from if you have a picky eater. These guys are awesome. They have a lot of goodies you can't find elsewhere that are much higher quality than the stuff you'd find at a PetCo. I buy dehydrated duck wings and my cat's favorite broth and French indoor cat kibble (yea. I know) here. They also have CBD that my cat takes well. Gonna drop a five star because; 1.) my pup LOVES this place lolol best selection of dog food, treats, bones, etc. out of anywhere in the entire city (which I think everyone can agree with) and the reason we drive across town to come here and; 2.) idk why people are complaining that the workers seem like they have an attitude! I literally told her, "I'm gonna go ahead and grab my stuff to check out on the dog side, is that okay?" ...as I lug a huge bag over there I hope they get a more quality game bird selection so I can make this my regular stop for them as well. My pup was raw fed from 5 weeks old until about two years old. This was our place. With this economy tho?? I am giving the store 3 stars because of their product return policy. I have an account there and I buy the dry Open Farm food for my dogs. On my previous visit, I bought a case of the Open Farm wet food. None of my dogs would eat it. I have never had that happen with wet food. I intended to exchange the remaining cartons in the case for their usual wet food. Despite the fact that I have an account and they know that I bought it there, they would not allow me to return or exchange it because I did not have my receipt. This is how you destroy customer goodwill. I would like to support a local business but not when they take advantage of me. They just lost a customer. read more

Actually I don't have any animals but I have come to this Feed and Supply for pest control. A lot of horse people have some kind of structure and storage. Rats and mice are a problem . The solution is one bite bait bars. About the size of a candy bar with a hole down the center. They can be wired to a post as a bait station or tossed where they are living. The bait thins the blood, they fight and bite and die. I use tongs and never touch the bait. I've been using this bait from this store almost 20 years. My pest is pack rats. Always works. read more

Returned on July 8th, and glad that I did. In fact, the service was so excellent, I wanted to share an updated review. I selected this feed store, because of the enormous selection of Evengers, Against The Grain, Chewi & Stellas, and Natural Balance - my favorites, and most importantly, my pets favorites. While choosing a variety, at least two employees offered to help me find what I needed and one carried heavy items to the register area. I also noticed the difference in price; .10 cents to .30 cents less expensive per can than I've seen elsewhere, so for me, it's worth the drive to get the $avings. My pup is 16 years old, she stopped eating the food she had been eating for 14 years it was making her sick. I went to sprouts to find her food spent $50 in food that she wouldn't eat in it outhat she wouldn't eat ended up going to OK feed supply. I got a bag of dog food and one of the ladies in the store gave me a sample bag of this dog food. I tried it and my dog loved it. She's working on her second bowl. She is only 5lbs. She lost 2 from not eating. I'm so happy. If your dog is having issues eating, try this. It didn't even make her sick when i changed he food. OK FS is my dog food supply store from now on. OK Feeds gets a triple 5 star rating from us! I've been buying our dog food from them for years We found out our beloved dog has cancer and went to OK Feeds to find out what to feed him. We knew a little bit about Keto diets and cancer so that's where we started. All the staff were knowledgeable. They gave us suggestions about the different diets and possibilities. Michelle knew about a company they were working with named "SOLUTIONS" for fresh frozen Keto meals and supplements. She printed out some information about "cancer and metabolism" by the company. Michelle helped us choose some of their products and said if our dog rejects the food, we can return it for credit. Michelle also suggested giving him unflavored Pedialyte for dehydration, which was insightful. We gave her a snapshot of what happened and that we were looking for a different veterinary service who understood more than the traditional long standing approach. I will never buy chicks from here. I purchased a dozen from the first hatching batch. My friend also bought a dozen. All our chicks died a horrible death (water belly) I wrote a review that disappeared! Imagine that. They cover up their horrible stories. We had to watch and try to save each chick who were doomed with water belly. Broke our hearts. This did not stop their sales, more were they helpful or offer to replace No Refund even thought it's their fault for buying sick chicks. We spent over a hundred and fifty dollars. I hope I can help stop them from selling sic chicks. And being responsible for the pets they sell. read more

Wish it really didn't have to come to this but maybe if enough people complain about the counter service they will treat their customers with the respect they deserve. Been a loyal customer for 3 years and I wish I could tell you that even one time I've been treated with kindness while shopping here. Selection and quality are amazing but it honestly feels horrible going to any of the staff to be rung up. Anytime I've treated them with kindness it's met with a scowl or no answer at all. DO not buy chicks from here! All of the chicks we bought had pasty butt. The chicks were locked away in a small shed in the back and in small crates with all breeds stacked on top of each other. We had four chicks die within three days from buying them. They do not treat their chickens well and are just trying to make a sell. They just tell you oh must have been a bad batch instead of trying to help their customers with either refunds or replacements. read more

The staff here are wonderful, their selection is huge, and they have everything from chicks to hay. Their rewards program is great, you save up points to use for $ off, and you get a free bag of cat or dog food after 10 or 12, I forget. I go to them with anything I need, they make sure to find what you're looking for from specialty ingredient pet foods to products for the chickens. I was a loyal customer until they refused to exchange expensive pet food that my cats did not like. I bought a dozen and was told that I could return/exchange is my pets did not like. Apparently, the women did not disclose that they have a 30 day return policy. I attempted to return at 40 days and was refused a refund or exchange for the pet food. I was wanting to keep my business local and where I was spending $100/mo in quality cat food..but since OK Feed did not give me quality customer service, I will no longer buy from OK Feed and will spread the word. I think a one time exception should had been granted for a loyal customer! Especially, in todays economy for small businesses. Shame on OK feed! read more

But if that's not enough for you, they also have our favorite dog food, chickens, plants, bird seed, and a man in a cowboy hat to help you load your car. Really friendly and helpful staff. Rewards programs. And right next to the Metal Arts Village, the Scandinavian furniture store, and the Tucson Hop Shop. Bottom line: This should be the first place you come to looking for the highest quality feed, treats, dog food, cat food, bird food, toys and tack! Notice the exclamation point it is there for a reason. Lets start with why they didn't get 5 stars: PRICE EVERYTHING; Seriously, when all of you staff is helping customers, of which they do very well, and all I want to know is how much the 50# bag of dog food is, that you don't make me wait 5 or more min just to find out. Get a LCD monitor/tv to roll through all of your bulk feed prices and availability; Come on people we're a decade into the 21st century it isn't that hard or expensive anymore (or even a big dry erase board 4'x6' or 4'x8' with the most up to date info if you insist on being a gaggle of luddites). Again I get annoyed waiting 5-10 min to while 3 employees are trying to use the only photocopied price sheet at the same time. Maybe I am just curious about how much 20#s of flax is running and if you have organic layer feed. If you had this information freely available to your customers I wouldn't have to tie up as many resources to satisfy my infolust (similar to wanderlust but involves less walking, usually) Getting in and out of their parking lot: nothing can be done about it and I am sure when the place was built it was just fine but as the roads grew they have made coming and going kind of a pain in the ass. Heres why they could get 5 stars: They have the BEST, WIDEST VARIETY and MOST HEALTHY treat selection with in 100 miles, bar none. They have the most comprehensive high quality dog and cat foods at highly competitive prices. They don't sell crapy foods here. If they don't sell it you really don't want to feed it to your pets, unless you don't like your pets and want them to not live as long. Its a good idea to rotate through different kinds of food and treats so your pets don't get bored, you wouldn't like to eat the same thing everyday so why to you expect your pets to. Price, Sure they are usually a dollar or 3 higher than big box stores but you don't have to go to several different places for treats, food and equipment; they are local; and you are paying for the highest quality helper monkeys (staff) in Tucson. Chickens, Chicks, Quail and Ducks! Where else can you buy 1-7 day old chicks some 2 month old chickens 3-4 quail and a duck for good measure all for less than $8 a piece, Im sure there are some other places that do this, but not many. They also have every thing you could ever need to take care of you new flock from coops to fake eggs to show those dumb birds where to lay the real eggs. To top it off they have a really good staff to help you navigate all these things with knowledge, experience, and patience. I will say on the whole the staff knows more about feeding your dogs and cats than vets do, which is sad (for your vets). They are humans so they do have their good and bad days, and some times they will give conflicting advice (again humans). You can also bring your well behaved pet with you, mine aren't so they stay at home. Often times they have samples of treats or of different types of food (which I will use as treats) read more

They could of definitely been a 5 star but there was a little too much effort to get help and some complaining from the staff about how short handed, they were, and who's job it was to do what. I started coming here after finding out from my vet that the food I was feeding my dog was actually causing an allergic reaction in his skin. Turns out that the supposedly top shelf food I was feeding him from one of those big chain retailers was actually pretty pathetic nutritionally (hint: the name isn't too dissimilar sounding from "euthanasia"). After doing some internet research I decided to come here, and now my mini schnauzer is fanatic over the Acana and Orijen brand dog foods (same company, just differing protein sources/percentages), and I'm a hell of a lot more knowledgeable about my dog's diet. The staff here has been nothing but helpful and friendly every time I've gone. They're happy to field questions, and they're extremely knowledgeable about their products and healthy feeding practices in general. They carry some of the highest quality dog food you can buy, and they've got a wide assortment of toys and accessories for all your pets. It's certainly not as huge a store as any of the huge pet chains, but it's far denser with quality products. Plus, the higher quality dog food here costs about as much as the "top shelf" crap that those chains sell. Shopping here is a win-win situation. read more

Worst Customer Service from the old man that works there. We were there to buy a chicken, a duck & feed for both. We arrived 15 mins before closing. We had already picked out the ones we wanted & all we needed to do was pay & have someone get them. It is now 4 mins before 6pm & the old man threw a fit saying it was too dark, there were closed & any other excuses he could think of to not get them. Problem with that was there was a guy outside who was already helping us. I asked him if it was too dark, do you have a flash light. He then proceeded to kick us out!!! They need to get rid of him!!!!! Edit: After hearing from the owner, I am inclined to change my review from 1 star to 5. For the owner to go out of her way to personally answer my review means that she really prides herself on Customer Service & is willing to make amends.
