    Thai Crispy Beef

Stopped in on a rainy cold night at the suggestion of my date. Everything about our experience here was wonderful. I had the dish called Tai Crispy Beef with white rice. Service was friendly and timely.

Our server, Jeff, was friendly and attentive. All the food was delicious and we are happy he tried it. We were able to choose entrees and sushi.

The Mapo Tofu (麻婆豆腐) was rich and flavorful, made with tender tofu cubes cooked in a spicy, oily sauce. The balance of Sichuan peppercorns, chili bean paste, and minced ingredients created that signature mala (numbing and spicy) taste. It represents the boldness of Sichuan cuisine--strong flavors that wake up your senses and warm your stomach. The Tomato Scrambled Eggs (番茄炒蛋), in contrast, offered a gentle, comforting taste. The eggs were soft and fluffy, mixed with slightly tangy tomato sauce. This dish is one of the most classic examples of everyday Chinese home cooking--simple, colorful, and full of nostalgia. Many people grow up eating it because it's quick, nutritious, and always delicious. The Spicy Shredded Potatoes (椒麻土豆丝) added freshness to the meal. The thinly sliced potatoes kept their crisp texture, tossed with green chili and cilantro for a sharp, refreshing flavor. This dish shows the Chinese skill of stir-frying--controlling the heat precisely so that the vegetables stay crunchy but fully seasoned.

Food is amazing and the staff is top notch. It's the best food in Lancaster for sure. Ambiance is nice only one thing, can the cleaning crew take those round light fixtures down and dust them off?! I hate to ruin such good food with dust Thanks

The ambiance is fresh, new and spacious. They have social distance. The food was beyond great. Quick to seat patrons, quick to get my order and plates arrived with perfect timing. The service is friendly, professional and perfect. Good location and easy parking on or off street.

Not sure if this was a one off experience, but the sushi didn't taste as fresh as it has in the past. M-Th buy one roll, get one free, so great for a quick lunch break. I've dined here numerous times before and have excellent meals, today just want one of them. Hoping it was a fluke. Always friendly prompt service.

A nice alternative to my usual Chinese takeout spot. OKA's Teriyaki chicken is great, all their dishes taste clean and not too heavy. A little pricey compared to other asian restaurants in the area, portions are decent. I recommend giving them a try if you're in the area.

Despite what their web page says Oka Asian Fusion was open during the COVID-19 crisis on May 12 when we ordered take out & walked down to pick it up. We ordered for 4 adults, a few entrees, soup, edamame, sushi and fresh rolls. The sushi was the best, and the Tom Kha soup was also very good. Their fresh rolls were mostly iceberg lettuce. They gave us the wrong order at first and we had to return for correct order. On the second try they assured us we got the correct order and had re-checked it, but upon walking away we were chased down on the sidewalk with our missing soup. We are very forgiving during these challenging times and we would definitely try Oka again during "normal" dining circumstances because their sushi was awesome.

The doubles? Exceptional. Soft, perfectly filled, and full of flavor. And the hot pepper sauce? Whew. It didn't just add heat, it elevated an already outstanding dish to another level. I ordered so many doubles I barely had room for anything else but I had to try the dhal and it was exactly what I needed. Comforting, rich, and done right. Everything tasted like true, authentic Trini food, the kind that makes you feel warm, satisfied, and already thinking about your next visit. I was literally craving it every single day for the rest of my Lancaster trip. The space itself is on the smaller side, but really cute and inviting. The service was great: friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience complete. Whether you're new to Trini food or already know what's up, Calaloo will not disappoint. Although she did…read morecheck-in with us regarding our appetizer, she was too preoccupied to check-in regarding our entree, due to her being the only staff in the dining area catering to 4 different tables; understandable but didn't leave us the opportunity to address our issues with the entree (which will be highlighted below) until we paid for our bill and came across someone else by happenstance. The aesthetics were elegant and on the dimmer side, especially if you're seating at the corner tables away from the light, we recommend sitting closer to the light or by the entrance if there's still light out. We really loved the crab croquettes appetizer, which had a perfectly crispy exterior that complimented perfectly with the moist interior mixture of potato and crab that paired very well with the aioli. The crispy potato that accompanied the NY strip was perfectly balanced as well, with the crispiest exterior that I ever had with a potato dish! Unfortunately that was the highlight to the entire dish, for the strip was extremely lean without any fat or marbling to help balance out the leanness of the steak (which is evident in the attached photos below). Usually a NY strip, even if grass fed, would still have a strip of fat on the outer layer, but ours did not have any at all, which you can see from all slices we've made. We weren't hoping for ribeye-quality fats at all, but just one that wasn't completely lean. The creamed spinach was also quite bitter and watery, which definitely diluted its creaminess unfortunately; you can see from the photo the wateriness in the creamed spinach where the cream began separating. We love their menu and the restaurant's elegant vibe, as well as how beautifully the food was presented, but unfortunately we were left disappointed by our main entree. I highly recommend their crab croquettes so please give that a try if you can, I promise you won't regret it! Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:

It's quite reminiscent of an old pub when walking in. It's quiet. But it's a good spot to have lunch with a coworker. This is what I saw when I got here - a bunch of people eating lunch with their coworkers. I grabbed a salad and asked for all the veggies and the chili garlic sauce. It was delicious! I wasn't planning on eating lunch that day, but I didn't want to lose another chance of trying this place. I finished the salad. The sauce had a bit of horseradish or wasabi in it. There was a kick to it. It was a nice surprise. I had to eat quickly because it was about to downpour. I asked for a lid and they offered a bag for me, but I didn't take it. I just needed to run to my car quick. There is a parking garage two blocks north infront of the Hamilton Watch store. It's $2 to park for an hour. Would I come back again? Yes, I would.
