I contacted the dealer online and I was promptly contacted by salesman Manny Goveo. Manny was a pleasure to work with from our first phone exchange. He quickly got me estimated pricing on my lease, and helped me with a deposit on the vehicle. When the vehicle finally arrived, Manny was very quick to contact me to let me know it was finally there! I had to travel about 4 hours to get to the dealer, and Manny had the vehicle fully charged and ready when I arrived. Manny was enthusiastic about the vehicle and you could tell that he truly enjoys his job. Our finance manager Lance was quick and efficient with the paperwork and we were off with our new car in no time. For the first time ever, in my many car buying experiences, I did not feel pressured or rushed to buy this vehicle. Finally, a car dealership without the "shark" experience. I saw many customers walk-in for service or looking for a vehicle and their experience was similar to mine - they were warmly welcomed and customer service was friendly. A huge thank you to Manny for his stellar customer service. All car salesman should take your lead for providing hassle free, friendly, kind customer service that is not pressured or rushed. Thank you for being the exception - Lakeland Ford is very lucky to have you!

First, the…read morefinance guy, Chris, lied to me when purchasing my used vehicle and extended warranty, unfortunately I didn't get it in writing so my bad. When I purchased the extended warranty he verbally said to me, "If anything happens you are covered for the first year." He lied. The first thing that went wrong was an emissions code and they said you are not covered. Recently 5/7/26 I took my car for the last free oil change and I also had the AC checked; it has made a noise every since I bought it; I was told by the service guy (I won't name him) that it was covered under my warranty. I scheduled an appt and dropped it off, but when they contacted me they said, well, it's not covered. I feel this company has done a bait and switch. They offered me a 15% discount, but that's a joke, they should do the right thing and at least cover the labor. I DO NOT RECOMMEND you purchase a vehicle from this dealership, especially if you are a woman. They also charged me $1,400 for reconditioning, but when I had my oil changed they advised me my battery is starting to split and I need new tires. What did they recondition??? Normal items would be battery, tires, wiper blades, etc. I don't feel they reconditioned anything. I regret trading in my vehicle!!! I've only had this vehicle for one year (purchase date 5/17/25) and put around 10,000 miles on it. today's date is 05/18/26. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF - DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE HERE :(

I came away very happy with my sales lady and very satisfied with my purchase. When it comes to service it's a whole different matter. There I feel like they have zero respect for me or my time. Last week I waited for more than 5 minutes while they had a private conversation about food and TV before they even acknowledged my presence. I came in for a routine oil change for which I'd made an appointment in advance . This time just like last time it took more than 2 hours. For an oil change! Yes it seems their lack of respect for your time is large.

Over Thanksgiving, I brought my 2021 VW Atlas in for repeated stalling and a Start/Stop system error -- a serious safety issue that included the vehicle shutting off while driving with my wife and our two week old newborn in the car. The dealership diagnosed a failed EVAP carbon canister, which is covered under Volkswagen's extended warranty. At the same time, they documented "heavy deformation" of the fuel tank and confirmed it required replacement. Despite this, I was required to pay out of pocket for the fuel tank replacement. Fuel tank collapse is widely recognized as a consequential failure of a faulty carbon canister due to excessive vacuum in the EVAP system. Instead of honoring coverage, the dealership presented a "discount," but I was still charged over $1,200 for a repair directly tied to a covered component. My advice: - Get everything in writing - Question any "discount" offered on warranty-related repairs - Don't assume a repair tied to a covered defect will automatically be treated as consequential damage - Escalate the matter to Volkswagen Customer Care This experience has been extremely disappointing given the safety implications involved.
