We had an excellent experience dealing with Frank at this dealership. He has been the absolute best to work with. My husband & I have bought many cars over the years, Frank went above & beyond to get us the truck we wanted at a fair price. Highly recommend going through Frank for your next Ford purchase.

    Their false policy

*If you want to be lied to, have every promised "Guarantee" be non-existent, be gaslit, and given the runaround, this is your lucky day. *If your elderly or disabled you get doubly blessed with having your time wasted, being strung along and assumed to be an easy mark. *If you like to be open, honest and transparent, you may want to go anywhere else but here. *When you openly and honestly state exactly what vehicle you want, the price you expect to pay because they supposedly price match any competition dealer, give explicit details and openly tell that you are disabled and with an 80+ yr old individual to explain why you cannot spend hours in a dealership. You expect to have ALL of that honored, right? To bad. Prepare to have your time wasted and leave mad. I contacted Lakeland Ford, after spending a significant amount of time researching the vehicle we wanted. I found numerous Dealerships with the exact vehicle that had competitive pricing. Lakeland Ford had the highest price of every dealer in central Florida. However, they have been our dealer and servicer since we purchased our Flex in 2013. Although admittedly, our original purchase was a headache too. I wanted to reach out to them and see if they would match those competitor prices. I was contacted by Julian via text. Of note, I specifically and repeatedly communicated that text and/or email were my preferred contact, due to disability. My first clue that this may not be a great experience is when they insisted a phone call was needed. So, we had a relay call with Frank. Ended up having to commit to an in-person visit. That brought me to Saturday's events. We went in with pre-approved financing, clear competitor pricing for them to match, Military code, etc. I basically had everything ready to walk out with the vehicle. They simply had to follow through on their price match guarantee and fulfill the terms already discussed. Needless to say, everything was a ploy to get us in the dealership. Frank passed us off to someone else, MC Cortes. The short version was he came back with a price thousands above what I was led to believe it would be. When I asked if they would match the competitor prices, he flat out said no, they don't do that. There you go folks. Blatantly violating their posted policy. In violation of Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA). More specifically Title XXXIII §501.204 and for acts against seniors and the disabled §501.2077. **edited to clarify. The vehicle price match was an EXACT vehicle match, EXACT. Exact msrp, exact model, trim, etc. Every other Ford dealer is doing 3k-4k dealer discounts because it's November. This isn't my first rodeo. The fact is their employees purposely misled, wrangled us to come in person, knowing exactly what was expected and infered would be easily achieved. All this to two vulnerable individuals is despicable. After being customers for over a decade, I'd expect an apology not digging in their heals to attempt to discredit us. Added 2 photo collages that show how all these other dealers are discounting. Not Lakeland Ford though.

I took my car in for a safety recall- my door opened by itself- I had to pay for my rental and once I got my car back it shows two new problems with my gps and xm radio- filled out the survey and received this generic email from their service manager with no resolution to the problem

The most rude and unprofessional people I have ever met. Even the manager had nothing kind or helpful to say.

Customer service. They did not give us the bottled water. They wanted to combat us at every step. We did not strike their deal. Cheap

I bought a new truck from salesman Bill Raynor and found him to be honest and sincere during the buying process.

I've been a customer with ok carz for two years and I kept my comp and collision through them because it's was a great price! Little did I know how much I would regret that decision. A couple of days ago I was driving my car and it shut off and caught fire. Luckily no one was hurt or injured. So I call Midflorida Finance which is who finances allll of their cars and explained the situation, the rep advised me to send a couple pics to get the claim started so I did that. This was at 10 am, at 4:30 pm I called to see what the nexus step was and the rep then advised they were waiting on a police report from me but never asked for one at any point. I instantly send it to them and am advised because it's Friday at this point in the afternoon nothing would happen till Monday and keep in mind the car is sitting in front of my house. Monday rolls around and it's about noon and I haven't heard anything so I call midflorida and ask if there's an update, they tell me they sent my pictures off to Lakeland Toyota for an estimate and are waiting for a response so I asked if they were sending anyone out to inspect the car and she advised no they would be deciding the date of the car based off the 5 photos I sent in. (Not your typical experience) and I also work for an insurance company in the TOTAL LOSS DEPARTMENT! Tuesday's rolls around there is still no update until mid afternoon, they call to ask if I can start the car so they can continue in their decision making... meanwhile in the picture I sent them you can see the entire battery was melted and gone so obviously no. So she has to now call them back and provide the info. Wednesday finally comes and they deem the car a total loss and say someone will be there within 3 days to tow the car and they will come get the key from me. Well they showed up very early morning and didn't come get my key so when I go to get my stuff about the old car and put it in my new car I notice the car is gone. When I call she advises I know have to drive 40 minutes to come collect my stuff after the tow truck driver didn't get the keg from me and they have to have the key. I'm here at the ok carz in Lakeland and the lady at the cashier window is rude, unfriendly and not helpful so I highly advise not doing business with these people.

I came away very happy with my sales lady and very satisfied with my purchase. When it comes to service it's a whole different matter. There I feel like they have zero respect for me or my time. Last week I waited for more than 5 minutes while they had a private conversation about food and TV before they even acknowledged my presence. I came in for a routine oil change for which I'd made an appointment in advance . This time just like last time it took more than 2 hours. For an oil change! Yes it seems their lack of respect for your time is large.

Over Thanksgiving, I brought my 2021 VW Atlas in for repeated stalling and a Start/Stop system error -- a serious safety issue that included the vehicle shutting off while driving with my wife and our two week old newborn in the car. The dealership diagnosed a failed EVAP carbon canister, which is covered under Volkswagen's extended warranty. At the same time, they documented "heavy deformation" of the fuel tank and confirmed it required replacement. Despite this, I was required to pay out of pocket for the fuel tank replacement. Fuel tank collapse is widely recognized as a consequential failure of a faulty carbon canister due to excessive vacuum in the EVAP system. Instead of honoring coverage, the dealership presented a "discount," but I was still charged over $1,200 for a repair directly tied to a covered component. My advice: - Get everything in writing - Question any "discount" offered on warranty-related repairs - Don't assume a repair tied to a covered defect will automatically be treated as consequential damage - Escalate the matter to Volkswagen Customer Care This experience has been extremely disappointing given the safety implications involved.
