We then were looking for a dealership to get some service work done in November. Unfortunately, Genesis is apparently now requiring owners to go to Genesis dealers instead of being able to use Hyundai dealerships as well. There are no Genesis dealerships near our home in Dade City, so it was a significant drive for us to take the car in for service in Lakeland. What I want to comment on is the work of our service representative, Ytzel, and her supervisor. I had been extremely sick due to having had chemotherapy and radiation for a cancer diagnosis I had received a few months earlier. I had a pretty good day and my wife and I took the car in and dropped it off for the service. Unfortunately, my health then deteriorated by the time we were to go pick up the car and I knew I shouldn't be behind the wheel for an extended drive home. I explained all this to Ytzel and she apparently went to her supervisor and they were able to arrange for the car to be driven to us. It really was an exceptionally kind act on their part as we were not within the warranty period that provided this service. I can't thank them enough for this and apologize for having taken so long to write this review. As for our service experience, the work was performed professionally and everything turned out great with the exception of some difficulty we're now experiencing with the driver's seat belt. We attributed this to the mechanic having had to pull the headliner to repair a rattle in our sunroof. Thankfully, the sunroof works perfectly with no rattle, and while the seat belt is an inconvenience (sticking, not retracting fully at times), it is so nice to have the rattle repaired. Hopefully, I can get the seat belt to work a bit better on my own. I do believe Genesis needs to add more dealerships if they are going to require service work to be performed there, but otherwise, we're very happy with the service experience we had. Mike

Soulless fvcks.. You…read moredon't have "clients", you have "victims" and "prey". BBB Complaint Details: Vehicle purchase with (non-optional) two year/24000 mile warranty on 12/15/23. I am well within the warranty period and mileage (11000 miles driven since purchase). Within a week of purchasing the vehicle, the upper radiator hose blew off the radiator. I had a list of issues with the car and was told by the manager of OKCarz in Tampa to not worry that the warranty would cover ALL of it. They (OKCarz) authorized replacement of the waterpump. However, the waterpump that was installed was a used, Chinese knockoff that was graded C (barely functional) by whichever junkyard it came from. This waterpump lasted six months before I had to replace it again out of my own pocket. I did this to ensure that quality, new OEM parts were being used. Now, the radiator has gone bad. Pep Boys in Daytona found a leak in the radiator in the exact place where the upper radiator hose connects and the issue began. The warranty company, which is owned by the same entity as the dealership, has denied the claim by saying that the radiator is NOT part of the engine. Yet, the water pump that damaged it is. Bu the time I reach the end of the loan, this vehicle will have cost me $31000. I asked for the number of their legal department and was told "This conversation is over" and hung up on without another word. The manager at Pep Boys can attest to this as it was said during a call to get the work authorized. All I want is for them to have the smallest hint of integrity and fix the issue. Otherwise, this will become a legal matter. I don't care that this is Florida, which has very little in the way of consumer protections. I was rushed through the paperwork to purchase the vehicle with ample time to read through it, no doubt a sales tactic as I witnessed it happening every time I had to go back. I have been transferred to a full voicemail box, hushed and hung up on. My patience is wearing incredibly thin at this point. Picture of the "Brand New" water pump that was installed attached. I smell Class Action Lawsuit in the air

I bought an f150 front camera from them. They sent me a passenger side camera and they won't return it since I've loss the packaging. Now I'm stuck here two hundred down the drain. Never again dealing with these guys. I just hate the fact that it was their fault in the first place and now I gotta eat the loss. To tell me you can't check your inventory to see your own mistakes (you would have a missing item in your inventory for sending me the wrong part) already tells me this is a shady place that does shady practices. Avoid at all cost.

The vehicle that they brought up to the front didnt have any of the features I asked for. I did ask about the cooling seats and I was explained to that cooling wasnt available in any of the models so I accepted that. As far as the other features which were the memory seats and the adaptive cruise control I assumed that they were on the vehicle it wasnt until I was investigating how to make it work did I find out that they were not on the vehicle. The motto Exceeding Customer Expectations Every Day! Did not apply to me I guess that I was a special customer because I was told that I wouldnt of qualified for the model that would have these options so I just have to deal with it again the motto Exceeding Customer Expectations Every Day! Doesnt apply to me. I dont understand why I wasnt shown a model that had the options I wanted!! It was explained to me after (NOT BEFORE like it should have been) that I wouldnt have qualified for the vehicle. My question is WHY the vehicle with the options wasnt shown to me and then if I didnt qualify for the vehicle then we would have to drop some of our wants. Again the motto Exceeding Customer Expectations Every Day! Didnt apply to me!! I am a disabled veteran and I need the adaptive cruise control to drive on I-4 with all the starts and stops I am not going to be able to take I-4 to the VA hospital and will have to take the back way adding to my trip. I believe that your dealership should be able to add those 2 items that I had requested or put me in a vehicle that has the options! I am going to take this matter to Ford headquarters as I am not happy and I definitely didnt get treated properly like the motto says Exceeding Customer Expectations Every Day! Thanx and God bless, Kevin Manuel

Over Thanksgiving, I brought my 2021 VW Atlas in for repeated stalling and a Start/Stop system error -- a serious safety issue that included the vehicle shutting off while driving with my wife and our two week old newborn in the car. The dealership diagnosed a failed EVAP carbon canister, which is covered under Volkswagen's extended warranty. At the same time, they documented "heavy deformation" of the fuel tank and confirmed it required replacement. Despite this, I was required to pay out of pocket for the fuel tank replacement. Fuel tank collapse is widely recognized as a consequential failure of a faulty carbon canister due to excessive vacuum in the EVAP system. Instead of honoring coverage, the dealership presented a "discount," but I was still charged over $1,200 for a repair directly tied to a covered component. My advice: - Get everything in writing - Question any "discount" offered on warranty-related repairs - Don't assume a repair tied to a covered defect will automatically be treated as consequential damage - Escalate the matter to Volkswagen Customer Care This experience has been extremely disappointing given the safety implications involved.

That crossed a line for me. It showed extremely poor judgement, insensitivity, and a complete lack of professionalism. Because of that, they've permanently lost my business. From now on, I'll gladly drive out of my way to Brandon Volkswagen for all future purchases and service appointments. A dealership that behaves like Lakeland VW did is not one I can support, and I hope others think twice before doing business with them as well.
