Unbelievably rude pro shop. The older guy checking us in, I think Bobby, couldn't have an excuse in the world to justify his attitude. Starters weren't any better. We walked 9 holes in the afternoon and won't be back. I honestly don't know what their problem is. Based on other reviews, I guess this is the way things are run. No thanks. Great course ... in beautiful condition throughout from tee to green. Very well kept and challenging but playable for every level. Well managed from the pro shop to the on course crew... also nice range and practice areas. my only criticism is they need to update their golf carts (on their way out) read more

Golf course is ok. Very basic facilities and rude older staff. If you change out some of the retired gentlemen, who close up at the end of the round, your reviews would probably go up. I'm a golfing standpoint, there are way too many blind shots, and dog legs that'sthat slow play. Better for seniors than anyone who hits the ball average to above average distance. read more

Beautiful Course, but Poor Experience with Starter The course itself is stunning and well-maintained, pro shop staff was excellent, but my experience with the starter was disappointing. I visited on the afternoon of December 22, 2024, for my first round here. From the moment I approached the starter, his attitude was unnecessarily aggressive and dismissive--not just toward me, but toward others I observed interacting with him as well. The behavior seemed supported or encouraged by his team, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. Those I played with mentioned this isn't an isolated incident and that this individual has a reputation for being rude. When I politely addressed his tone, he escalated the situation and told me I should leave the course, which I found highly unprofessional. While the course itself is exceptional, this type of treatment takes away from the overall experience. I hope management addresses this issue to ensure all visitors feel welcomed. read more

Purchased $200 gift card for my parents to play golf, utilized during off season, feedback staff was rude and pushed through course to the point day was not enjoyable. Visited golf shop for clothing purchase last week with same experience of complacent and rude staff of two (2), one younger gentleman at right side desk on entry and 1 older man at main central desk. Inquired at entry desk on right to younger male for a long sleeve golf shirt, his reply "I don't know" and stood idly behind the desk with zero assistance. Two ladies shopping for both male and female golf clothing, totally ignored by both staff, incredibly rude. Do not recommend for playing golf or shopping due to poor staff and could care less attitude repeatedly on two (2) separate occasions. Hire people who have a some pride and dedication for themselves, employer and the job. Replace with employees who want to be there, that are professional, positive and helpful!!! read more

It's a great course. Great, challenging holes. Every hole different . Unfortunately, they must have run out of money when it comes to grass seed! After a total redo of one of the 9's two years ago, they seem to have lost any sense of concern for the condition of the fairways. Either pick the ball clean with an iron, or come up with a mud divot. More brown spots than green ones. Sad to see a truly special muni go down hill so fast. read more

While the course is in good shape and the cart staff super friendly, playing here was not a fun experience overall. we were hit up on twice, with one ball hitting the cart I was sitting in. We waited for groups ahead of us only to be haunted by the course monitor sitting in a golf cart on the hole we were playing, telling us we had people behind us waiting while we waited for people to tee off in front of us. Ended up leaving after 14 holes and not finishing when a third ball hit about 10 feet from us. Doubt I'll be going back there anytime soon. read more

Beautiful Course, but you may experience bad service there. The Proshop staff would not always welcome or even see you walking in because they were eating or played with their phones. Sometimes, it will take a long time to check you in. You have to be patient. At the starter, you have to be patient too, don't ask any questions, just sit in your cart waiting quietly if you don't want to be yelled at and ruin your day. read more

I bought r Th PBC card which entitles me to reserve a tee time 20 days in advance. Over the last several months, when I log onto the site 10 days in advance, at 6 am when the book theoretically first opens, more often than not, I and 3-4 other players can find no open times before 11. I don't know what algorithms they use, but if regulars cannot get on the course in the long run they will lose business. The courses are nice, but you can't know that if you can't get on, and the value proposition of the county card goes d or in if we're regularly forced to play elsewhere. read more

First time playing this course. Tee time was 730. Bought a small bucket and walked to the range at 7am. Ranger drives up and says I need to go back to the starter. Right now. I say no and hit 20 balls, then return to the starter with 10 minutes to spare. Still trying to figure out what that was about. The course was in great shape, and the greens were fine, and fast. The rangers keep things moving and we played in 3:45. Here's the deal: I walk, and usually play at Osprey Point, one of the other PBC munis. Osprey is very walkable, Okee is not. Very few golfers walk here. It's a slog with loooooong walks between many holes. If you're gonna walk, stay away. read more

I have been playing golf at this golf course 19 years, but today I could state that the golf course in the best shape I have seen it in years. The greens were in excellent condition and the golf rangers were doing a great job of managing the golf players. Okeeheelee Golf Course has three nine-hole courses that can be played in multiple 18-hole combinations. I was having a great game until I ran into the Iguama and his family which I believe curse my game. They were sun tanning at the tee box which I felt uncomfortable moving them from. There are three 9 hole courses and the starter will have everyone start on the same 9 hole course, why? To have the longest rounds? Then there is course conditions or lack of. The courses were just redone and they are already in terrible shape. Bumpy greens, patchy fairway large spots with nothing but mud, standing water everywhere pretty gross. And the only minorities that work there are the grass cutters, if you are not older and white forget about working in a office. And if you use the range good luck finding a patch of grass to hit from. And throw in all of the instructors left I guess management is great at social skills like they are "not" at managing the course If you like long rounds, terrible conditions no instruction and no minorities this is your heaven read more

Golf Course is adequate for a public course. Greens aren't great. I rented clubs from the Pro Shop. HUGE DISSATISFACTION. No 5 Iron provided. After noticing I went back in and the clerk handed me a 4 & 5 but they were BLADES. Never playing there again. read more

I played Osprey and Heron today, and this course is always fun. The course was in good shape, the rangers kept our pace of play just under 3.5 hours and it is always reasonably priced. Keep up the great work, and our four some will definitely be seeing you guys again! read more

If you like slow play this golf course will be right up your alley. A complete disaster when playing early. The faster you play the more you wait due to the crossover between the 3 nines. In the past the course only booked 2 nines to prevent long crossover waits before playing your back nine. Early groups play early because of the pace of play not the lack of. Obviously pace of play is not a priority read more

This course is awesome. I played here every day in middle school and high school and the workers were super kind and let me play for free often. I can't play as much now but when I go back everyone is friendly and the gold course is short but challenging. There is tons of water so it's a shot makers course. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star is because they often over stack the course so it takes forever to play. Sometimes there will be a 4 some on the tee, fairway, and green of the same hole. If you're not pressed for time this course is highly recommended. read more
