Is it possible you could use a car wash that would put 10 deep scratches of the hood of your car? YES, at Okie Express Auto Wash in Shawnee, OK. Damage was noted immediately in the vacuum area and attendant was summoned. A claim report was given and it has been a circus ever since. A video was sent to my insurance company; I obtained estimates for repair and forwarded them. A phone call was received saying the claim was denied with nothing else said. My deductible is large meaning I will be paying for the repairs that the car wash equipment did. I am disappointed and Okie Express should be ashamed of themselves. Use Okie Express car wash at your own peril. If the equipment malfunctions they will duck their head and play dead. I own a company and I am sensitive of my customers' issues. I came here to get a basic car wash after the snow melted. I'm not sure if the car wash wasn't working or what, but only one side of my car was "cleaned" and it actually looks worse than before. No free towel here, while their other locations always hook me up. No attendant towels car off. Is that possibly an upgrade I missed? Two attendants rushed us in, barely pre-washed at all, and definitely did not get my rims. Water they use must be poorly recycled because it smelled like a swamp. Gross. What a horrible experience today dealing with Brad (the locations manager), who was obnoxiously rude and aggressive. Sadly, Brad didn't have the capacity to be kind or converse professionally to help me figure out how to deactivate one account and start another; instead he tried to kill, steal and destroy my joy today - horrible customer service from leadership, and I'm currently paying for two memberships because this chain can't find my account. It's hard to cancel, and now it's a whole ordeal to simply get a car wash. We're new to this area and TODAY I experienced the reason why my family's so anxious about our family being in this part of the country. Normally car washes take the antenna off before you go in. This one barely sprayed the front of my truck before I entered. Didn't even spray off bird shit on my windshield. The antenna was broken off 1/2 way through the wash, leaving the threads stuck in the nut side. I'll have to have them drilled out now. I won't return. Poor service. read more

On my first experience going though the Okie Express we saw one of the top rotating drums catch and rip off one of trim on the top of my vehicle. In my opinion this is poor quality car wash. I read a poor review just before visiting this place and still went anyways. Hope someone reads this and chooses not to go here. read more

Okie express is an okie doke! I went for one car wash to wash my elderly parents vehicle, and the attendant said they had a special for the wash, for four dollars cheaper. Of course I wanted to save four dollars, but what they didn't tell you is that they would then charge you $29.99 every month. I have tried to call to contact someone with no response, leaving messages for a Manager! Beware! Beware! Beware! I got Okie Doked at Okie Express... one car wash has now cost me $75. Overall! The car wash is not terrible, but it did leave quite a bit of dirt on certain parts of my car. The detail, however, was terrible. I paid $20 to get a 12 step detail of the inside of my car. It claimed that they would vacuum floorboards and seats, wipe down dash, seats, etc. Not only did they not touch the dash whatsoever, they did not vacuum the floorboards nor did they vacuum or even wipe the seats down. I will 100% take my business elsewhere and I suggest you do the same. read more

Overall, this wash does a good job and the included vacuums are a huge bonus! I'm not a fan of touch-washes (I prefer touch free, without the rubber and brushes that beat up my paint), but I haven't found one in OKC yet, so I was lured by good reviews here. The wash got off a lot if the dirt and grime from my car. The price was decent, but the auto club prices are really good. Around $30 depending on the level you choose and could go every day, though talk about wearing down paint! If you go three times a month--done! Some reviews mentioned getting a towel to dry car--I went on a Sunday afternoon and didn't receive that... Next time I'll bring my own microfiber towels. read more

They don't have towels to dry your car. Coming from California they have a few different small chains that are very similar to this car wash. But they have towels for you. I didn't know they didn't have towels here so now I'll have to have my car washed again. Oh well. I will say their vacuums are much stronger than any other ones I've used. Which is a great thing. This will do the trick for about a week then I get a real car wash some place else. Car still had birdshit on it. Not worthy the $20 I just spent though, pretty disappointed in that. I have come to really like this car wash establishment, even to the point of driving 15 minutes one way and past 4 other car washes to get there (including one only 2 minutes from my apt). I usually prefer to wash my own car, but having been in college and living in campus housing for the last few years, that has not been possible. Okie Express does a great job of getting my car clean for a decent price. They also have the lowest price with underbody wash available and since I started changing my own oil, I started realizing how much corrosion can happen on the underside. I also like and appreciate the free rewash guarantee on some of their upper tier packages, as well as the free vacuum use. I have taken both my wife's car and mine through there about half a dozen times and I am always satisfied. If you are looking for a good car wash or a regular place to take your car, give Okie Express a try. I believe you will not be disappointed. read more

I always have a good experience at the Okie Express drive through car wash. The owner is always there to answer questions or take feedback on how they can improve. It is not a full detail service so plan to bring your own microfiber towels and expect to dry your own vehicle ,etc. The free vacuums are top notch! read more

I switched to Okie Express about a year ago. All was fine, until they started new rules. Now they make you remove folding trailer hitches too. If I wanted the inconvenience of getting out to removes stuff, I would just go to a manual car wash, which is what I will do going forward. I cancelled my membership and will go elsewhere. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. We have had others tell their cars was scratched at this location off Danforth and western. I did not believe it until it happened to our car. All of these these guys are trained to say something stating it couldn't have happened in their wash... why was your car the only one damaged and not everyone else's that day. I need recommendations for a new car wash. I have been using Okie Express in Edmond since it opened; however, today I took my wife's car through and even though it was a basic car wash the front and mirrors are caked with bugs as is the windshield. When I spoke to the attendant, Tanner, about the poor quality of the wash, he explained that the basic car wash is not designed to clean off bugs. When I told him that I average two carwashes a week at this location and I've never had this bad a problem with bugs not being removed, he simply shrugged. I have always liked Okie Express. I average spending $14 a week here and was thinking of joining the monthly unlimited club. I love the free towels on Tuesdays, the way they normally (but not today) brush the front and windshield of the car to help with bugs, and the new air guns to shoot away lint and debris, but now I need your recommendations for a new car wash in Edmond. The machine damaged my new car. It took the paint off down to the metal and scuffed the entire length of the quarter panel. When I showed them the damage all they said was "well if the person at the front of the line does not move when the signal tells them to, it will back up the line and the cars behind will get damaged." This was the first and last time I will ever go, it has become my most expensive car wash ever. To fix the damage on my new car it will be $350 plus tax and that was the lowest quote I was able to get. read more

Mixed feelings on this place. The staff are nice, occasionally you get free towels for drying off your car, but wow they changed the order board up front. There's so much going on, I'm still not real sure what car wash I just bought for $10. Also a wee pricey for a car wash. They did install some disco lights though, in the drive thru so that's interesting. Listen Okie Car Wash - the order board out front, it doesn't need to be like that. They also have free vacuums that are the most powerful I have ever used at a car wash. They even have a free floor mat cleaner that literally beats the dirt out of them for you. read more

This time I decided to "upgrade" and get the wheels and tires done too. Well the wheels and tires looked terrible after the wash. I had to clean them myself. And they weren't bad to start with so their machines don't work. I tried to change the remaining washes or switch washes and the managers said there's nothing they could do. And were rude about it. The staff was nice and helpful. I came here because I was looking for a self service carwash. Once I pulled in I noticed it was automatic. My car is lowered so I don't like to take it through automatic car washes. I told the attendee this, and he said he would watch to make sure nothing scraped, and if it did he would give me my money back. So I decided to give it a go. I paid for the basic $10 wash plus the $5 wheel deal. My wheels are white so they take a little extra to come clean. The car came out looking great, EXCEPT my wheels which I paid extra for, and the entire front end was still filthy. Worse even, from dirty water. They don't supply towels for free or to buy there, but luckily I had a rag in my car. I had to scrub my wheels and even then they didn't come clean. Which I guessed was fine I'll just know better next time not to pay extra. Staff informed me the wheel deal was to SHINE the wheels. Why would I need to shine something that's still dirty? My main issue was the filthy front end. Which staff says was that way because I didn't pay extra for bug remover. But it's not bugs on my hood and bumper. It's visible brown DIRT. I feel like $15 should cover removing dirt from a bumper. He offered to run me through again, but it was obvious their wipers and sprayers weren't touching my front end for some reason. I was in a rush by that point so I declined. An offer to scrub or wipe my bumper of the obvious DIRT (not bugs!) or my money back would have solved my issue. read more
