Our family did a photoshoot session with Blinnk at the Westin Ka'anapali and had a fantastic experience. We were all a little anxious about whether we'd know how to pose or if we'd look awkward, but our photographer Brogan immediately put us at ease. He was so friendly and made us all feel comfortable in front of the camera. He was also great at getting us to laugh and act silly, and those pictures ended up being some of our favorites! The final photos were absolutely beautiful. We were also really happy that the Bliink team gave us the chance to request edits--my sister's red tank top straps clashed with everyone's blue outfits, and the photo editor was able to seamlessly remove them. After getting the whole family together and dressed for a family photo with a 9 month old baby we were contacted 3 hours before the scheduled time and told that because we booked last minute that they had to cancel, they said they didn't have a photographer. Just to be clear our appt was for 12/6/25 and it was booked on 11/25/25, not last minute. The young girl at the desk listened to my frustration. She tried to book us for the next day but my son was leaving at 5:00am. She finally said she would do the photos herself. However, I do not think she was a photographer. She had no experience with the baby and just kept saying "Smile Baby". The photos were okay, but out of 119 we liked 4 or 5. This was the second time we used them, the last time wasn't great either and it was for my daughter's engagement. We thought we would try again. We bought a few but only because we did so much to make it happen. SO disappointing for a Marriott approved company. I feel they would have used a better photographer at their resort. read more

We had a family appt with Blinnk at the Ko Olina Marriott this past week. Our expected photographer had an unexpected health emergency and so at first we were left waiting and wondering if we would be able complete our photographs. The whole family (grandparents, parents, kids) had all gotten ready which was no small feat, so the late start was at first frustrating for us. The manager quickly stepped in though and saved the day. With grace and professionalism he made what was at first a tough experience, ultimately a success. He was outstanding at managing the various needs and comfort levels of different family members, particularly a very squirmy 4 year old boy :). The true sign of their professionalism and focus on customer support was when we went to view the photos, everything was complimentary! We used Blinnk previously for our baby moon photos and had a decent experience. This time we were taking photos for our anniversary. Booking was easy. Photographer, Alfy was very friendly and worked well with our group. We spent about an hour moving around the resort. Poses and location were great. The process of taking the photos was great. My concerns were the next day. Photo packages were pricy but I expected that. But they ranged from $600 for 20 photos to somewhere around $1300 for all of them. A bit more than I expected but what can you do? My bigger concern and where I can't fully recommend them, is that none of the photos appeared to have had any editing. The colors seemed to be off, some were washed out. I was able to upload them and make some corrections on my own. But I just didn't feel like the quality was there for the prices they were charging. The staff member that was supposed to show us the photos didn't show up on time. We ended up having to view them online and make decisions about what to get on our own. When I did get ahold of the person about the viewing, she wasn't at all helpful. I ended up having to speak to the manager, just to figure out what the online viewing process was as the sales person could not explain it. I would be fine with the price if the quality was there, but unfortunately it wasn't. But we did buy the entire package because there was no way to get the moment back. Next time I'd look for other options. read more

We recently had a family vacation in Ko Olina and we booked a session before the luau. Alfie sat down with our group a couple days later and went through the photos. They turned out amazing. I loved how Blink Photography had a kiosk at our hotel and had multiple Q codes place all over the resort. I never imagined to take such beautiful family pictures on our vacation. I honestly took a chance since all my kids were with me and that does not happen to often. What a an amazing idea it is to take your entire family on a photo shoot with such beautiful scenery and to be able to pick a beautiful background was a winner for me. Worst portrait experience in 25 years. Avoid wasting your time and skip scheduling an appointment with Blinnk. We Scheduled an appt for 8 am Monday April 22nd, received email confirmation and detailed instructions. Got seven people (including toddlers and grandparents) up early, dressed up and to the meeting spot. Photographer Alfie was a no-show. Had the gall to make up multiple excuses for horrific customer service saying he had car trouble then when I asked why he didn't text or call us he back-tracked and said it was an automated confirmation and he didn't get the appointment notice. Alfie clearly didn't care and is a terrible representative of Blinnk Photography and should be fired. Marriott should be horrified at having a vendor like this represent your brand. read more

We were staying at the Marriot Ko Olina, we were planning to do a family photo shoot but didn't know who to call on the island. We saw a banner for a complimentary photo session for resort guests. I inquired and was shown the price list. I went upstairs and told my girlfriend. We figured, what the heck, and scheduled a shoot for the next morning. We were scheduled with Lexi and met her in the lobby. I approached Lexi at the beginning of the session and told her I was planning to propose sometime during the shoot. She told me there was a perfect spot down by the lagoon and she would let me know. The session was fun and not too long so the kids were not bored or fussy. And everything worked out perfectly!! We came back later that day to view the pictures and they came out AMAZING!!! Lexi also had a short video prepared which was perfect. The pricing at first was kind of high, but when you factor in the complimentary session and the pick of photos that we wanted to keep, it was very fair. We purchased a small package of pictures and are very happy with what we recieved. Beautiful pictures which were nicely edited. The next day, before check out, we ran into Lexi again and asked about purchasing the video she made, she quickly gave us a deal since we had already purchased a part of the package. We are sooo happy to have worked with Blinnk Photography to capture our cherished memories. Very professional, easy to work with and amazing quality. We had the BEST experience at Ko Olina location. From start to finish. The manager to coordinate our shoot was fabulous. Our soon to be son in law was proposing to our daughter along with us having family portraits taken. Not only was this coordinated with ease but the shots were amazing. Our photographer was an amazing ray of joy and light during the shoot and it's reflected in the shots we received. We had great experience with BlinkPhotograthy! It was our son's first birthday in Ko Olina and we wanted to catch this moment on photos. I tried to find some local photographers for two days before the day, but it was impossible, so someone recommended BlinnkPhotograthy. It was very easy to make an appointment by phone. 45-minute photoset went so fast and smooth and just 5 hours later we had the pictures! It was easy to download them on their website in original size, and for social media they dropped photos using Airdrop to my phone right there at their location! I was impressed. read more

There's no way to capture good quality pics when being taken by someone in your own party; plus someone is usually missing because of trading off w/picture duties. Blink Photography is easy, quick and great quality; there were 150 images taken in a matter of 30 mins. So how could you say no thank you to purchasing images after you've fallen in love w/the pics. We were doing a big move from USA going back to Korea and we stopped by Hawaii for vacation for a week. Since we were completely exhausted by huge moving, we didn't plan to do the photo shooting at Hawaii, although my wife always wanted to do so. At Marriot Ko Olina hotel, we were going through the pamphlet the hotel gave us and found the Blinnk Photography saying that it is free, which was hard to believe. I called, asked, and figured out that the photo shooting session is free but for files and printing, it is not, which made sense. We also asked the pricing and realized that the pricing was not bad considering that it is linked to the hotel. Since the shooting was free, we decided to give ourselves a chance to stand in front of camera and see what happens. We booked a session at the sunset time (5:00-5:45PM) in the next day. We showed up at the booked time and met our photographer (so sorry to her but forgot her name.. I will update the review after I get the email response from Blinnk). She was so kind, cheerful, and smily for the whole time. Thanks to her, even though we were with a 6-months old sleepy baby who was very cranky, the shooting was very exciting. We wandered around the lagoon and palm tree area and took a lot of photos. She suggested good spots and poses, which ended up giving us a great set of photos. She even allowed us to pick shooting spots and poses after the booked time was over while always smiling. Next day, we met her manager (again.. so sorry Blinnk folks.. I am super bad at names.. I know I should have noted..). She played a video that has good photos and recorded videos, which we liked. There were 200-ish number of photos and the manager showed us the pricing table (I won't disclose the details in case the pricing will be changed). We wanted to keep all the photos but it was a little too much cost so ended up getting 20 best shots. In general, I enjoyed working with Blinnk and strongly recommend their photo shooting service for the Marriot hotel customers since they already stay in the hotel, the photographers' skills are great, and the pricing is not bad compared to photographers you could find on Instagram, Google, etc. P.S. I was a little resistant to spend some of our North Shore vacation taking pictures. We were staying in a condo at the Turtle Bay Resort. We met up with our photographer, Justin, at the resort. We was very professional, he listened well, and knew what questions to ask to make sure we got what we were hoping for. The photo session was very efficient. We met up with Justin a few days later to review the photos and he was very helpful in helping us speedily getting through all the pictures and make decisions. My father recently passed away and I have come to realize that family photos and videos are something you don't appreciate until it is too late. Scheduling: We stayed at the Ko Olina Marriott, so the location right in the lobby was very convenient. I called the number and they were very flexible with my schedule and accommodated my request - we got sunset photos which had great light. Photo Shoot: We brought my entire family of 7 people (including 3 children under the age of 4). Our photographer Michelle was very patient with my children and even brought bubbles which helped keep them entertained and even made for a good prop in the photos. She worked through their meltdowns and got some great shots. We got photos on the beach and around the resort. This is a complimentary photo shoot so you have no commitment to buy at this point and you get to preview the images before you pay for anything. Pro tip: if you do sunset photos, go on the grassy knoll to the left of the lagoon. At sunset, the backdrop is breathtaking. We did not do this during our photo shoot and wished we had after we saw this later. Purchasing: We worked with Jamie, the creative director. His workspace is located in the lobby of the hotel, so pretty much the most convenient location possible. He went over the photos and packages available - although you may have some sticker shock at first, I have had several different professional photos taken of my kids and this is on par with the prices on the mainland. Jamie was outstanding and made the whole process very easy. He even professionally edits all your photos you select to make the contrast and colors stand out. He was able to do this all in the same day! Spoiler alert: They also make a video from the photo shoot that you can purchase at an additional cost. I thought it was totally worth it and was very happy with the purchase. Overall, this was a great experience. The convenience alone makes it stand out. You get quality photos and video to keep your memories. You are in Hawaii on vacation, you want to remember this time and share your happy times. Although I had wished my father could have been a part of these photos, I was very happy with the fact that we were able to capture the memories of our family and I know he would have loved these pics. read more

We took our photos this past Saturday with Justin at Turtle Bay Resort and he was AMAZING! He totally jived with our kids and they were perfectly happy to pose and take pictures (this never happens with a 4 yr old and 1 yr old). We got so many incredible shots and would have bought more if budget allowed. Would 100% recommend Blinnk Photography (specifically Justin). The editing was perfect and they didn't even charge extra for that. Yes, photos were on the prices side BUT very worth it! You don't pay for a sitting fee, the grounds of the hotel and beach are prime spots to get some beautiful photos done, AND they didn't charge extra for editing. Not just for tourists! I live near KoOlina Lagoons and I just love the landscape there. I looked for hotel photographers and asked for maternity photos. I had seen one set on their website but when I went in person to the hotel they showed me another set of maternity photos done just a few weeks before mine and they were beautiful! Elise was my photographer as well as the photographer of the photos I viewed and she was very nice and sweet and open to suggestions. I knew exactly what I wanted so I had no problems posing for the camera. She took her time and I never felt rushed for the hour session, I believe we went over a few minutes but I was the last session at 6 PM sunset. I do suggest using the valet parking...$20 is worth it than to hike from a lagoon parking lot and risking your hair and makeup getting sticky. There's not visitor parking for the hotel and their garage is only for guests. If you can get someone to drop you off that would be the best. The package deals for the photos is what drew me in the most. I could buy the photos a la cart with no pressure...but of course they were so good I got a package of 20 photos digitally by email as well as airdropped into my phone a week later when I went to review them. Money well spent...I'll probably only be pregnant once so I wanted to create the memory. I have a lifetime to take photos of my baby girl. Check them out! read more

We were visiting Oahu for our Babymoon and wanted to get a maternity photoshoot done. We were introduced to Blinnk Photography over email via the Turtle Bay Resort concierge and we booked a complementary photo session with them. This was a risk-free way to try them out and make a purchase if we like the photos. So on the day of the photoshoot, Mason called us to confirm our appointment and also give us an update on the forecasted bad weather. He offered to move our appointment if we'd like. Luckily the weather turned out to be great when we arrived in a few hours. We checked-in, quickly got ready and walked down towards the lobby where we met Mason. We were ~15 min early for our 6 PM session, but he got started with us right away. And throughout the ~45min long photo session, Mason was calm and pleasant to interact with. It was clear to us that he was a professional, who was passionate about photography. He made sure we were comfortable with the camera, reminding us to take a break, to relax and be ready in between shots. We walked around the beautiful property at Turtle Bay Resort, capturing pictures at several amazing spots. While we enjoyed our time on the beachside, he took great candid pictures of us. He clearly had spent a lil time prepping for the photoshoot, coming up with creative ideas - with a few highlighting the baby bump :) There was plenty of time for us to get some good pictures with nice day light and during the golden hour before sunset. After the photoshoot, we walked back to his office space and booked a viewing session for the next day. There were multiple packages (mostly based on number of photos), and they were a bit expensive, so we weren't sure what we'll purchase. The next day, we spent ~20 min going thru all photos and selecting our favorites. Mason was again patient & helpful. We liked the photos so much that we ended up deciding to buy them all (~300+). And it was totally worth it! Plus there was a surprise video of the photoshoot for us to enjoy! We got some free print credits - used them for a nice 16x20 Canvas Print (when we got back home). This had to be the easiest process ever. We have 2 teenagers that weren't looking forward to this photo shot and it all ended up being fun and easy. The following day it only took 40 minutes to pick those pictures we wanted. They all turned out so good and the video was great! The prices can't be beat. Our family's photo session with Kai was fun, flexible, and easy. He had a sense of humor and was very easy going which made the photo shoot relaxing for our family of 5.
