I came here as I'm trying to board my dogs and they need a few shots. They called to come a bit earlier and I did, then I waited like 15 min not bad. However I was disappointed when they came out to grab my 11y Old Yorkie that has a collapsed trachea and that she insisted on out a leash around his neck, "just in case he jump out"??? so let's said my Yorkie do jump out he will be dead! He has a harness on a she said that she isn't aloud to used it? This doesn't make sense as the other vet that I took him insisted and highly recommend the harness and never to used a collar? Maybe someone has to look into this. As I wasn't comfortable. I will have walk him in if this was an issue or take him to the door.

    8 pounds of bad patient.

We have used OBV for 3 doggos over some 20 years. They (the vets, not the doggos) have been very professional and dependable throughout with one minor exception (see below). They have adapted well to the COVID crisis and continue to give excellent care. They are courteous and friendly with both patients and owners. I really appreciate that twice over the years when we had a crisis (a suddenly epileptic poodle -- boy, that was scary -- and a chi mix who got out of his bed limping and crying) OBV was able to see us within the hour. I definitely recommend OBV. The one exception was not a vet issue, but a front desk/admin/inventory matter. I got a 6-months refill of the pup's one-a-month heartworm medicine. At home, I noticed the expiration date was earlier than 6 months. I went back and got a replacement pack, no problem. This was a pre-COVID event and there hasn't been a repeat, but I now make sure to check Rx expiration dates before I leave.

    Teeth Cleaning Procedure

Omg so happy with my baby girls teeth cleaning ! She had a bad deep back teeth that looked rotten and I was worry about the procedure and about a possible extraction, but the vet was able to explain everything to me and answer my concerns. I don't know how they did it , but all her teeth are so shiny white so clean and my baby looks like a new girl !! Thank you Dr Scott !!!!!

I wish I had done this sooner- it would have saved me from a lot of stress and aggravation. Communication with Brandi was awesome. Pebbles (blue heeler, 1.5 years old) would never listen to me, would not sit or lay still, and had a lot of other obedience issues that caused her to be stressed or confused. She was a TOUGH dog to train and I was concerned I couldn't find the solution for her to get basic concepts. This view has completely changed since working with RSK9's 3 week program. I would HIGHLY recommend them and their methods - you can tell they genuinely love working with dogs and it's made a huge difference in giving my dog the chance to find real rest at home. They send DAILY updates with photos and videos which was so nice. This isn't a regular class or something you just pay for; it's truly an investment that you and your dog will be using for the time you get to share together. Side note: it's worth doing 3 weeks versus 2 weeks. At the 2 week mark is when Pebbles really started to understand her marks and cues. From here there is so much more that can be refined and Brandi/Perry really capitalize on that threshold being crossed!

This other dog turned around and latched on to my dog Cindy, inflicting bodily harm on Cindy that required them to take her to an emergency room for treatment. After being sedated, Cindy required stitches to her left ear, her throat, chest and insertion of a pen rose drain to the left side of neck. Various bites located on top of her head and body were flushed with an antiseptic solution to prevent infection. Cindy required a second visit to urgent care due to copious drainage from the pen rose drain, incurring additional costs. I have spoken to the manager Susan who was supposed to be either getting back to me, or her boss Steven was supposed to call me back. I have not heard back from either one. Cindy is scheduled for a third visit for follow up and removal of her sutures on September 22, 2025. Despite what it says in a signed contract, Red Barn Dog ops south LLC d/b/a Dogtopia of Woodbridge, is refusing to cover any of the costs associated with this incident, that my dog did not initiate. If you choose to board your pet here be forewarned, they are not reputable, and do not abide by their own contract.

He also has a bit of separation anxiety that soon dispels if he is brought into the group. However, the workers never coaxed him into the room with the other dogs away from the door. I could almost never see him on the camera because he was always at the door. When I asked about it, I was told that he was at the door, but they never offered to engage with him to feel comfortable moving into the room where the other dogs were playing. In addition, he started using the bathroom inside my apartment despite being completely potty trained. And he smelled like dog urine. I had to bathe him after every 2nd visit although I could have done it after every visit. The last day he attended, he seemed completely shell-shocked. I don't know what happened, but he behaved in a dazed manner that I have never seen from him. It scared me so I never took him back. My dog is so gentle and sweet that he could have really enjoyed the socialization if the workers had made an attempt to engage with him.

I really liked them, because I never worried that our cats were "forgotten". Loyalty sends a picture and an email/text on every visit, so we always know what is happening. And they fill out a log book, that stays with us, with details on each visit. And then - because being good just isn't good enough - they went the extra 10 miles. When one of our cats got sick, Loyalty was there to help us through the very difficult time. They helped even when our cat would act out and get angry (because a sick cat is an unhappy cat, all the time). They didn't flinch when realizing they had a sick cat - they just dealt with it, and said "it's just part of the job". They even went so far as to accompany me to a vet visit, because it was taking two people to keep our poor cat calm. And that is how you set the bar. Now, several years later, I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Loyalty has done a great job of every visit - and even came to our rescue when we were stuck after a cancelled flight, and couldn't get home. We know we can count on them. If you are looking for organized, local, and going above and beyond the call, stop right here. You found it.

I was only home when they came a handful of times, but each time I saw them they were very professional and clearly loved my dog (and he loved them!). They also were hugely helpful when he was diagnosed with cancer and later needed surgery- knowing they were able to see him and give meds while he recovered gave me such peace of mind. I spoke with Terry to get set up and she is a wonderful business owner who is dedicated to her employees and delivering great care to clients. If they ever noticed something was off during a visit, like if my dog had seemed sick or had gotten into something, they got in touch with me in real time to let me know, in addition to the handwritten notes that they logged after each walk for us to read when we got home. We were signed up for a monthly rate for consistent daily walks that I was happy with and it was relatively easy to note any schedule changes, you just have to know kinda far in advance. My only feedback would be that it would be great if they had a messaging system that allowed for real time walk messages with the possibility of sharing photos as well (a platform like Time To Pet, that I know some other services use), but they were so well organized and genuine that I never doubted that my walker was coming or that they were coming for the amount of time we were scheduled for. It would also be nice if it was possible to do group walks to get some socialization in, but they only do solo walks.
