Old Chicago happy hour is awesome. The down fall of the place is the server. If you doing the beer tour or shirt tour... the server there would not count the beers you did. Either they forgot or something. So next time the server would say you missing couple beers. read more

You know when there are at least 10 places in town to get better pizza it might be time to hang your hat on your calzones instead. The food is below average, it's on par with Applebee's. The only appeal is the bar and the broad selection of beer available. The appeal to this location is if you are waiting for others shopping or for a movie to start next door. This is part of a mall for those from out of town, and parking is in a huge lot facing the front of the restaurant. There is a beer garden/patio area available for outdoor seating. read more

Great place for pizza! Pretty sure I had the best pizza ever at Old Chicago! Haven't been there in years and I was decently surprised. I enjoyed my meal and our server was great. I'll definitely be coming back! Anytime I need pizza, I'll always choose Old Chicago as my sit down spot. read more

First time going to this place. My wife said he had been here before with her family. Great beer selection. Food came out in good time. I'd give it a 4 star because our calzones did taste good, but, they just were not hot inside. They were warm as if they cooked it just enough to be finished, but not long enough to cook everything inside and get it nice and hot. I will give the place another shot if I'm ever in that area. My wife and I used to be frequent patrons but stopped due to frequently receiving poor service. After we called in an order and arrived to pick it up, I was told nobody ever called it in. I had to reorder at the front stand, wait longer and received no sort of compensation, let alone an apology for dropping the ball. We stopped eating here for a couple of years. A couple of years ago, we were shopping and decided to give it another try, but the service still hadn't improved. We were seated promptly and didn't wait too long before we ordered. That was where the satisfaction stopped. Our server never brought our drinks from the bar. Seeing them sitting there for over 5 mins, I decided to go to the bartender myself and retrieve our drinks. We waited for another 25-30 mins to receive our food, only to be brought by another server. Our server continually walked by our table but never once asked how we were doing or if he could get us anything else. I had to get up and find the server to ask for our check and to go box. I understand and appreciate the hard work being performed by those in the food industry during these times, but this has been a years-long issue at this Old Chicago location. read more

Great Bar/Restaurant. Old Chicago has a great location in South Pointe Mall, and has some decent food. Lots of great drink specials and happy hour options. They do appatizers very well like the trio, Sicilian Pepperoni Rolls, and Italian Nachos. The food is also decent but I have found the calzones to be a bit too greasy for my liking. The burgers are classic bar food, as are the wings. The beer selection is fantastic, tons of stuff on tap. They have a beer tour you can sign up for, and they have great happy hour specials you should try out. read more

OC has great beer and sports bar atmosphere but lacks a decent menu. The breaded menu is plentiful but there are no steaks or fish as an alternative. If I wanted pizza OC is delicious but that fare isn't my first choice. Add some grilled or broiled meats and veggies for a healthy alternative to my sports bar menu. read more

Have been to Chicago and have eaten at what they call the best pizza in the world. But I think I can go to Old Chicago at South Pointe and get something a lot better. Beth our server was on top of her game like no other and the pizza was the best. I love their beer selection as well and never leave this joint without a full stomach and a good buzz. I used to live in Lincoln and now miss Old Chicago. Whenever I visit, I make sure to go back and get my craving out the way. My favorite pizza is the Double Deckeronni. They have a great selection of beers and I try to get different ones each time. Italian Nachos are always delicious as well. read more

Never ate at an Old Chicago before so was meeting a date here just to see. Was disappointed with our waitress as she brought me a refill on my water without being asked but then ignored my date needing a refill (had to get the hostess to get it). Had cheddar burger and it really didn't have much of a taste to it. Waitress then didn't bring $0.21 of change back, so she didn't get a tip. Maybe I should have ordered pizza. read more

The food and beverages are always good. They often run out of the seasonal beers and had done that tonight as well. It tool over 15 minutes after being seated to get a drink, and it was after 9 pm and the place was less than half full. Again, the food is always good and the prices are more than reasonable. I recommend sitting in the bar area for better service. read more

We were there for lunch. Many empty tables, but they tried to seat us a a table between two families with small children and there were strollers and diaper bags everywhere. I ordered the spinach chicken avocado salad and after digging through the salad I discovered there was no chicken in it. After waiting they finally brought me a small dish of cold chicken. I am currently working on my first Beer Tour at Old Chicago. This place is a great place to get a wide selection of beers! The food is ok, the pizza is awesome, and the service is pretty good. I prefer the SouthPointe location to downtown mostly because of parking. The last time I sat in the beer garden, the server was very friendly and helpful at suggesting beers to try. On weekends it can get pretty busy but they will let you do call-ahead seating. They have a large open seating area as well (first come first serve). read more
