The bus arrived late, dirty, and malfunctioning. The tv's/sound system did not work, and the driver didn't seem too interested in getting it to work. did the driver know how to get it to work. The main tv near the exit/entrance would not stay up, so it hung low where a few clients bumped into it. We were told the 2nd driver could fix it, but he could not. He called and left a message for the manager, but he did not receive a callback nor did we. A LONG DRIVE (Louisville to New Orleans), with no tv, a mature crowd, expecting to watch movies. This did not go over well with our clients. And it got worse, the bathroom locked on its own. We immediately alerted the driver, but he did not move. A CLIENT tried to open it, the trip ORGANIZER attempted to open it before it dawned on the driver to check it out. And the door had locked. At our next stop, where we picked up the second driver, each patron kissed the ground, thankful to make it safe. The first driver was all over the road, I was awaken several times after crossing over in the emergency lane. As the driver was getting off the bus, he commented that he had only had 4 hours of sleep. And by the way he was driving, you could tell he was tired. This put our patrons and our lives at risk and this is VERY dangerous. Something tragic could have occurred. And just when it couldn't get any worse, we ran into heavy rain and it began raining on the bus! Water poured in from the windows and emergency exit! Seats were soaked, patrons had to move, AND ride with wet clothing for a bit as the down pour continued. Even more disappointing, we met with staff a week prior, to check out the busses and their amenities. We seen two buses, both top of the line. The company rep advised if we did not receive a newer bus, it will include similar amenities. We've reached out to JEFFERSON TOURS to discuss the above complaints, and we have not heard back. I am so embarrassed with the bus and service provided. We were not contacted at all during the trip, nothing has been done to rectify this issue. DO NOT USE JEFFERSON TOURS, find someone else. For the money paid, it's not worth an uncomfortable ride.

WONT EVEN ACTUALLY DROP OFF at the track lol even tho you can buy a drop off pass for $60. So my options were let them extort $1.5k out of me to still walk over a mile to the track or not get the bus at all. Greed is insane work fr. It was a trip from hell without food, restroom breaks or time to see the promised attractions. The entire trip was false advertising. Even after I contacted Karen Toby mid trip and she promised it would be fixed, it did not get better. Karen told me that the situations I described were not up to the Toby standard and she would fix it. Not only did Toby tours not fix it but they are now denying that all the problems happened. Guests were told not to use the bus bathrooms, diabetics were fed donuts for breakfast. Promised attractions were closing as they arrived. Toby Tours should do the right thing, take responsibility and refund the money. Karen Toby, you know these guests did not get the tour you advertised and promised. My parents have filed a complaint with the BBB. Blocking me on Facebook won't keep me from sharing their experiences on other social media.

They kept my mothers money so her trip is still paid for even though she is not going and still up charged my cousin. There is a group of four ladies going on this trip that will likely never use Toby Tours again. I don't understand the loss of clients over a 300 dollar up charge when you kept all of my mothers money that was paid for trip. There is no need for the up charge as you kept the 800 paid by my mother, as if she is still traveling....Beware of this policy!!!!!!!!!!!

The level of customer service provided by our tour guide, Bruce Raque, was truly exceptional and went above and beyond what one might expect. He went out of his way to give us some history of distilleries and the area, as well as showing us some local spots that the locals love. We really appreciated all that he did for us, from picking us up at our hotel, visiting local distilleries, taking us to a great BBQ lunch spot, and dropping us back at our hotel. The tracks, the history, the building itself and the stories about jockeys and horses are all fascinating. The day we went unfortunately the weather was not good. Couldn't get a clear view of the track and landmarks. But it was very exciting to see the actual track. Parking is free. The gift shop is good. Lots merchandise for visitors to browse through. 2 horses in the barn when we visited. The museum itself is wonderful. Many historical information and artifacts. The Secretariat section is on the second floor. The fastest horse. And I learned that he had a bigger heart than any other horses. Might be a factor that he was fast! Absolutely a highlight of our trip in KY. It makes me actually want to come for the Kentucky Derby in May.

Our tour guide was Carly and she was fabulous, too. The distillery doesn't make much alcohol anymore, but Weller is still made and sold at Buffalo Trace, I believe. We also enjoyed some drinks and charcuterie at the Garden and Gun Club upstairs after our tour, and the charcuterie was top notch - beautiful presentation, and great meats and cheeses and accoutrements. I would definitely come back here again and do a tour or just come for a drink or two.

We pre-ordered a charcuterie plate which did its trick for a snack on board. The crew was great and nice! They have a cute kids booklet with color pencils and includes a scavenger hunt! Plus they had learning stations and great kids music playing. Best part they lend out headphones for a silent disco for most of the cruise which was great for all ages! And a dance party at the end for the kids before they arrive at port. Plenty of space and bathrooms, and a nice cruise for the family down the river!
