Adam was our tour guide and was very friendly and informative. He took us to NuLu, Churchill Downs, the historic area, as well as popular locations such as the Louisville Slugger Factory and by the Muhammad Ali Museum. We appreciated his sense of humor and helpful restaurant suggestions. The price was reasonable and the pick up area was conveniently located in the middle of the Main Street area.

We took this trolley tour before we ventured out to do any sightseeing and I'm so glad we did. First, our driver was amazing and had tons of historical knowledge of the city. The tour hits all of the main attractions, and then some. Our driver also recommended several different restaurants in the area. He made a brief stop at Churchill Downs and he took pictures for everyone on the tour. The entire ride is about 70-75 minutes. Also, your trolley ticket stub gets you a discount to several other tours, as well as a discount in the visitor center. It's a little expensive ($24/adult) but I think it's worth the price.

Best Trolley tour it's great going on tours when they have awesome drivers. Drew was our driver today June 15 2019 . Our whole group was awesome. Can't wait to have family come visit so we can take them on this. Awesome job!!

Bus we weee on was a massive bus that had some nice leg room and room to stretch out. Bus featured plugs under each seat for charging purposes, your own little controlled air vent and a bathroom in the back. So plenty of comfort and the ability to stay prepared and charged up. The drive was really smooth both to and from Saint Louis and we never had to wait on the driver. Overall Miller is a nice option for church groups, private schools and clubs that may not have there own public transport buses. It's always a smooth and comfortable ride from my experience.

So my options were let them extort $1.5k out of me to still walk over a mile to the track or not get the bus at all. Greed is insane work fr. Im making sure everyone in my wide network of associates knows and everyone who books stays at my airbnbs knows not to use you all.

With limited time in a city,…read morethey're a great way to get a feel for the area and to pick out places you'd like to revisit. Heck, we've even taken tours in our own city! Very fun. This tour was no exception. We had a very enjoyable afternoon, got to see a lot of different things, learn a bit about the history of Louisville, and try some delicious foods. The format of this tour is as such: the bus drops you off at a location for 30-60 minutes, giving you time to explore while City Taste runs off to pick up food from a local eatery. When you get back on the bus, there's a taste (and a drink) to be eaten as you drive on to the next stop. The benefit of this is that you get to experience AND taste bits of Louisville, instead of one or the other. The drawback is that there is sometimes a bit of waiting around for the bus to return. On our tour, we stopped at Schimpffs candy shop, Churchill Downs (where we took a tour), Old Louisville, Louisville Slugger OR NULU (we were given an option), and the Belle of Louisville. Our favorite stop was Old Louisville by far. What a BEAUTIFUL area with such rich history! The food we had was fried green tomatoes, hush puppies, hot brown pizza, pulled pork and potato salad, and Derby Pie. All were delicious, but the particular favorites were the hush puppies and the hot brown pizza. Alongside came a variety of drinks... we weren't huge fans of the flavored beers and wines (vanilla, strawberry, etc.) but we liked the bourbon tastings, the bourbon coffee, and the mint julep at the end. For reference, the food quantity was enough to keep us mostly satisfied but not amounting to a full meal replacement. I wouldn't eat a huge lunch before you go, but I also wouldn't show up hungry. City Taste Tours was extremely accommodating and gracious to our family. I realize these tours aren't geared toward kids specifically, but they went out of their way to make it enjoyable for everyone on board. If you're looking for a tour that's a bit of everything, a "taste" of all tours, this is the one for you. It's quirky, fun, and a great way to spend an afternoon in Louisville. **One last thing I'd mention: we booked a private tour, mostly because we just didn't want to take away from anyone else's experience by bringing 6 kids along. We were surprised to find out after being picked up that the bus was picking up other riders as well. It honestly worked out TOTALLY fine - it was a great couple that came along with us - but I just mention this to warn someone who actually cares a lot about it being a private tour... you might want to double check that they don't somehow overlook your private reservation and add extra people to your group.

It was a trip from hell without food, restroom breaks or time to see the promised attractions. The entire trip was false advertising. Even after I contacted Karen Toby mid trip and she promised it would be fixed, it did not get better. Karen told me that the situations I described were not up to the Toby standard and she would fix it. Not only did Toby tours not fix it but they are now denying that all the problems happened. Guests were told not to use the bus bathrooms, diabetics were fed donuts for breakfast. Promised attractions were closing as they arrived. Toby Tours should do the right thing, take responsibility and refund the money. Karen Toby, you know these guests did not get the tour you advertised and promised. The issue arises when Toby Tours decides to charge my cousin as a single person traveling now. (A up charge).... They kept my mothers money so her trip is still paid for even though she is not going and still up charged my cousin. There is a group of four ladies going on this trip that will likely never use Toby Tours again. I don't understand the loss of clients over a 300 dollar up charge when you kept all of my mothers money that was paid for trip. There is no need for the up charge as you kept the 800 paid by my mother, as if she is still traveling....Beware of this policy!!!!!!!!!!!
