The Germantown area doesn't have a plethora of restaurants, so it's nice to see a new option in Old Germantown. I didn't have time to sit down and eat today, so I ordered smoked kielbasa with crinkle fries to go and had a 12oz glass of Sprecher root beer while I waited. I'm glad that I had checked out their website first and knew exactly where to go because the restaurant is tucked behind a barn and there's no signage (yet) indicating where the restaurant is located. There is a red wagon out by the road as a marker for those who know to look for it. The building itself is really cool looking and a nice change of pace from standard, cookie cutter restaurants. The smoked kielbasa had great flavor. I liked the toasting on the bun, but it made the bun super flaky and a bit messy to eat in the car. The crinkle fries came with a dipping sauce which I chose not to use. Without the sauce, they we lightly salted and had some grated parmesan cheese on them. I thought they could have used another minute in the fryer to get a little crispier. My total came to $14.50. According to the menu the kielbasa and fries were $8.99, which means the 12oz Sprecher was much more expensive than it's worth. Unfortunately the menu doesn't list prices for soda, so I'm only left to simple math. I look forward to stopping back when I have more time and ordering a wood fired pizza. This place is a hidden gem in the countryside. We went the other evening and I felt like I was entering a secret world. The sounds of nature, the stars, the big open seating.. it was so relaxing and one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The Mexican Street Corn pizza was AMAZING. One of the best pizzas I've had in a very long time. They have a great variety of interesting pizzas. I will absolutely be back here...multiple times! In case the owner reads this, some ideas to add to the menu are: -Caramelized onion, pear, and goat cheese w/ a honey drizzle pizza -Loaded baked potato pizza -Goat cheese & fig melt (like the Brie & fruit) w/ warm bread or warm pita I think you guys would rock these flavors! I've lived in Germantown for 14 years and didn't know about this place. We decided to try something new and ended up here, and I am so glad we did. Everything was amazing! Customer service was great and friendly. The restaurant and bathrooms were super clean. The best part of this was obviously the PIZZA! We came in with a large group of Four Families on a Sunday afternoon around 3:00 PM. There was enough space for us to sit right down and grab tables inside. Parents all enjoyed a few beers ranging from the lagers to the fruit ales. I only heard good things. My wife and I split the angry chicken pizza and a salad that were both excellent. Our boys enjoyed a cheese pizza and the pretzel bites. One of the other couples went with the Greek pizza and I was a little jealous. After dinner, we went outside and enjoyed the beautiful view in the massive outdoor seating. The kids busied themselves while the parents socialized for a little longer. Several of the kids enjoyed root beer floats for dessert. Not to bury the lead, but I also purchased some of the smoked sausages to go. Four chicken gouda, one jalepeno cheddar (for me), and an oktoberfest. We cooked up the chicken gouda and jalepeno cheddar sausages last night. They were amazing. Worth a return trip by themselves. This is an awesome venue, even in the middle of winter. The restaurant is on a farm just outside the main village of Germantown. Old Germantown offers great pizza, yes pizza, as well as delicious fresh made sausage, and 18 local beers on tap. BEST! Gem! Ever! I had the most positive experience here and I cannot stop raving about it to family and friends. While following the GPS, I definitely thought we took a wrong turn, but surprisingly the dirt road means you're heading the right direction :) The staff was beyond friendly, the local beers they have on tap are all scrumptious, and the pizzas... oh the pizzas were out of this world. My boyfriend and I ordered the Currywurst pizza and Charcuterie pizza. They were very unique and tasty. We inquired about playing the Marquette basketball game on the indoor projector, and they promptly honored our request. It was a real peak of the night. I selfishly want Old Germantown to stay a "hidden" spot, so the wait times don't blow up, but I wish only the best for this business! read more

Old germantown is a great spot! Pizza is wood fire and every one I've had is delicious. Beer is good as well. My kids love the pretzel bites with beer cheese. Love the rustic inside but the outside patio is what makes this a wonderful summer spot. Service is more self service (walk up and order and they deliver to your table). This is a pretty cool place. They have live music on the weekends. I've looked and looked for some good Hungarian sausage and thankfully I found it here. All of the sausages are homemade and probably some of the best I've ever had. The big hit though seems to be the wood fired pizza, and I can see why. I would compare it to the pizza served at Via Napoli at Epcot. They have an in-house brewery which is always a nice addition. They sell the sausage by the pound to take home with you as well. My husband and I made reservations for a Friday evening at 5:30. Our first time here. We both had a taste for pizza. We ordered in line and we're directed to our table. A few minutes later we were told it would be 1.5 hrs before the pizza would be ready or we could order something else from the menu. We chose sausages on buns with fries. The food was good but wasn't that desired pizza. It was suggested by "seasoned" patrons and an employee to get there earlier or another day besides Friday. Their menu is basically many amazing looking pizzas, 2 types of salads and a sausage platter or sausage on a bun w/fries...and a couple desserts. So it's a pizza restaurant. They only have ONE wood-fired pizza oven. We WILL try again for that pizza! The atmosphere was comfortable, a little loud, but kinda beer garden-like. Employees all were super friendly. I can't speak to the food but getting to the restaurant is a challenge. There are no signs from the road into the restaurant. We just drove up a driveway that looked right according to my gps and even then there were no directions as to where to park. I understand the restaurant was closed that day but do they really take all signage down.? We did peak Into the eating area from the what we assume was the parking lot. It did not look inviting. We arrived at about 4:30, we're told the pizza wait was about 40 minutes. Great, no problem. We quickly ordered two pizzas, and appetizer, and drinks. Or appetizer and drinks came out very quickly. One pizza came out within 30 to 40 minutes, what we expected. But then our second pizza never came. After over an hour of waiting we went to ask about the pizza. The cashier told us she would check into it. We never heard back. And we never got the second pizza. Finally, after over 2 hours we closed up our tab and left. The one pizza, classic cheese, was delicious. The craft beer was really good too. However, there's a problem with service. The kitchen clearly cannot keep up with the demand. Because there are no actual servers and you just order everything at a counter, there is no one who can help you if you're already gets lost. read more

Loved this place! Fantastic service!! Everyone was sooo nice and friendly! We even had the nicest man who kept coming around and making jokes and asked if we wanted him to take our group pictures. Very cool venue with really good food and hospitality. Worth the detour as it's a bit off the beaten path. Homemade sausages had great flavor and there were so many things on menu we wanted to try. The gentleman who was helping our table gave us a lot of recommendations for things to do in Green Bay, even though we were Niners fans :) Suggestion to make seating and ordering process more clear. Yes yes yes!!! Nailed it. Pizza and beer on a kid friendly farm with staff that makes you feel like family, what more can you ask for?! Oh yes! A dog friendly patio. Lots of wood fired pizzas and beer which is brewed there. Ample outdoor space. The inside is smaller so it can get tight during the winter months. All were great- thin crust sourdough cooked at high temp for crisp crust and nice char on the bottom. Barbecue beef sandwich was good but pizza was better. They make all their own sausage - lots of love goes into their food for sure. Sourdough is handmade too! 10-12 beers on tap including lots of local choices and one of the their own. Brand new facility in a wide open space . Planning to have brewery and market on site and expand the restaurant hours beyond the weekends as things progress. Love the sausage platter as an appetizer if you have a large group. The pizza is only available Thursday through Sunday. They can run out of pizza as they make a set amount of dough for the wood fired oven. Very friendly owners. It can be hard to find. Look for the red wagon on the east side of the road and follow the dirt road to the left. read more
