Huge patio. No food but you can bring in your own. Tons of TVs for sports and sometimes they have live music. And of course... great beer.

so happy Sahale is in downtown Grafton. awesome local brewery with a fantastic outdoor area, indoor space with games available to play & of course fun beer flavors. no food but they encourage you to bring in food from local restaurants. staff is always friendly & the place just gives off this incredible community / anyone is welcome give. they also oftentimes have live music or food trucks, and even sometimes pop up events. must stop!

This is a cup from Sahale. Paid for 14oz beers. This is a 12oz cup. There are not 12 oz pours offered on their menu.

I was skeptical about the 14oz pour, so I took my cup home to see if I was overly paranoid. I wasn't. This is a 12oz cup that was used to serve the 14oz beer I ordered. Will be writing to the BBB, because this is absolutely unacceptable. Avoid at all costs!!

Perfect day for new beers on the patio!

We love coming to Sahale! The location is great, their outdoor patio is HUGE. I love that they're inclusive of all - couples, families, pups. The indoor space is open and updated, but we always try to grab a spot outside on nice days. We have enjoyed grabbing a pizza from nearby on our way in, having a few beers and playing some games inside in the winter. They have new and unique brews frequently and I haven't had one that I didn't like. You can grab them in cans to go, which was great when we weren't ready to drink in person yet. Service is top notch - can't go wrong here!

Great spot for a great beer. Atmosphere couldn't have been better - wonderful patio with lots of seating and open inside area. Beer was really interesting and very good. Nice mixture of flagships and experimentals. They make their own root beer and it was fantastic. Service was friendly and super attentive. Cant wait to return.

I'm not a drinker, but I live in Wisconsin so I go to breweries a lot. But FWIW the drinker in our party thoroughly enjoyed the beer. I thought the house-made maple root beer was the best. It's got a smokiness in its deeb caramel overtones. The house-made lemonade was also ace. The staff is super friendly, and wore masks. The space has those huge garage-door-type windows that open up the whole front, but the patio is where it's at. Nice shade in the afternoon, with a view of the fountains in the park. Great space to relax. I wish this place were closer to me, but i imagine i'll be making the trip out here again soon.

Great brewery! They have four standard flagship beers that are solid, then eight plus that rotate. Great atmosphere, but no food. You can order in or bring your own though. There is a nice patio And it is a dog friendly establishment. They can to go. Super friendly behind the bar. Board games and bags. Grafton needed a place like this!

I visited Sahale Ale Works today for the first time. I visit craft breweries as a hobby and this establishment exceeds 125 for the number I've visited. The female server was friendly and welcomed me as a first timer. She assisted me in obtaining a standard flight of 4. I picked a golden ale, wheat, pale ale and helles. My favorite was the wheat which included ginger and honey in the taste profile. I bought a 4 pack to go. I was also interested in the large 30 oz tulip glass they had displayed but found those were for members and not for sale; I could have bought a 16 oz tulip with logo but decided against it. The price for the flight was around $12 while the 4 pack was $24. A little pricy so you need to really like the beer to pay it. I did really liked the wheat and believe in supporting our local craft breweries. The Wi-Fi connection worked well with password. The decor was unassuming and comfortable. The establishment appeared very clean and had a large outdoor seating area for when weather permits. They had some some snacks for purchase. Overall, I thought the staff was friendly and I liked my selections in my flight enough to buy some to go. I'd recommend a visit if in Grafton. The one thing to watch out for is that the parking is a little tricky and you have to walk a little.

Best beer in the Midwest. The brewer really knows the craft. This is the first stop we take all of our out-of-town guests.

We had 3 different people come to our table to see how things were going which was really nice. The owner even stayed a while to talk about the business and his other restaurants in the area. Have to say, the ordering by phone was a little challenging, but we figured it out. Great addition to the Public Market. Definitely will be back.

This restaurant sits in the Mequon Public Market and legitimately has better fried fish (and chips) than St. Paul Fish Market just across the parking lot, as crazy as that sounds. The batter is light but crispy, and there's a generous cut of fish under the relatively "fluffy" exterior and the fries were fresh and awesome. They also have a respectable beer selection, plus some good cocktails on offer. We were acknowledged and never ignored by staff even though there's an option to order everything through a QR code on the table. The manager stopped by a few times to check on us before it got overly busy, which was also nice. I'm excited to come back here and enjoy the patio when it warms up.

Bartender Kayla, (owner's daughter) has always been pleasant. This past Sunday 9/28/25 we stopped in for a drink at 5:30 after attending a Celebration of Life for a friend. We got a chilly reception, seeing as they were closing soon we were told The KITCHEN was Closed! We both ordered a scotch and club soda. Both of us said it didn't taste right. They were very faint in color and taste. When we mentioned to the owner, she got defensive and claimed "I've never been accused of pouring a short drink!" We didn't say she did. She then took our drinks and poured them in the sink saying "We're Done Here!". My husband & I looked at each and said "Let's go." that's when the owner said "I Think So! We then left! I reviewed close to 30 places to find the perfect spot that could accommodate up to 150 people and check all the boxes we were looking for. They hit the mark on all. The second floor and roof top more than handled our group. The space was free with a set minimal spend. And they met the budget. It allowed for an amazing buffet with fantastic food. Allowed us to utilize audio and visual as well as have our requested raffle table and check in table for name tags and mini gifts and ability to use directory boards and more. They are simply amazing and I would highly recommend them for your next event. Mike the owner was awesome to work with and was top notch with communication and accommodating all of our specific needs without additional expenses. I was a tough requester and have to say they not only met but exceeded on all avenues. The staff also was amazing - shout out to Christian, Wes, and Gabi and Dom. Btw the games provided were the cherry on top. Dart board, ring toss, Hammerschlagen. All this and food and beverage handled in house . No extra coordination for beverage or catering. Simply a win across the board! I Highly recommend!! Christina

Loved the whole brewery feel and setup. We arrived and were greeted by a host who just seemed bored by the whole thing. She walked us to a table, but was not friendly and didn't say much. We looked at the menu and they were out of several beers, which left us with only one choice for an IPA. I understand they have to brew the beer, but if they're out, it would be nice if they had some other IPAs on tap. Our server greeted us and she was reasonably friendly. We ordered a burger and fries each. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy my IPA and I love most IPAs. I wish there had been more choices. Our wait wasn't long. The fries were good, but our burgers were way overcooked. The garlic aioli was also not very flavorful. Our server was not the most attentive, but attentive enough. We don't require a lot. She did ask if we wanted dessert, which was great, though we declined. We got the check and a box, then we paid and left. I called less than 5 minutes later because I had forgotten my box. The host that answered the phone was not interested in helping with this issue, so I told her "you can see the booth from the host stand", and she alerted me she didn't see the box on the table, but did not offer to follow up or check with the server. It's my fault I left my box, but the host on the phone just didn't seem bothered about helping us. Atmosphere was great. Service, food, and beer all could have been better, so this wouldn't be my first choice for a return trip. As a side note, we've been to the other location a few times and had good experiences.
