I couldn't find a picture or listing of Kenicky's full menu anywhere online so I called to place an order after seeing a social media post where a few people said they have the best wings around. I was told that the minimum order for wings was 6 and that they were $1 each. After hearing the list of sauces/rubs, I ordered a basket (includes fries) with 6 honey BBQ and 6 jerk dry rub. I also ordered a plain cheeseburger that came with fries. Overall the wings were a letdown. A couple were tinier than I would have expected and not at all worth $1 each. The jerk dry rub had no heat to it and the flavor of the honey BBQ sauce was weak. Even on Wednesdays when Kenicky's wings are $0.75 each that's a terrible value. I'd rather go to Joe Mama's in Colgate and get their wings, which are far superior. The cheeseburger had good flavor, even though it was cooked more well done than the medium I asked for. I hate crinkle fries and would have gladly substituted for tater tots (supposedly a $1 up-charge) had I known that's the fries they serve. The fries were bland and not very crispy, which is par for the course when it comes to crinkle fries. Unfortunately I didn't pay attention to the receipt until well after I left and I started to upload my pictures because it looks like I was overcharged. The menu says the 12 piece wing basket is $11.50 but I was charged $12 for the wings and an additional $1.50 for the fries. If the basket is actually $13.50 the menu should reflect that, otherwise you're being dishonest and stealing from unsuspecting customers.

Make your grilled cheese your own....add a wing sauce to it, with bacon, jalapeños, etc....

I've been a fan of their wings for several years. Large....flash fried...then sauced...then grilled up to finish the cook....then rescued to serve. Great flavors. They have a nice LARGE grilled chicken salad that I find myself ordering quite often. Great thin crust pizza and have a personal sized cauliflower crust option too.

Great service. Got crowded fast on a Friday night and yet pure professional staff. Will be back again.

    PIZZA

First time and definitely won't be the last. Service was outstanding, and the food was amazing. Got wings to eat there, and pizza to go. The wing sauces were great, cooked perfectly and finished on the grill. I wanted a pizza with almost every option added, and they did not disappoint! Pizza was a hit at home with everyone. Again, service was extremely good as well. Shout out to the one woman in the kitchen ballin! Give her a raise!

Our server, Melissa, was a star (though I did notice the entire darn team hustles non stop--kudos to all). We started with the Jalapeño Popper Stuffed Mushrooms. Sooo good! Burgers are always awesome at the other locations so we had to get at least one here -- it was delicious. The other sandwich we ordered was a special called, The Bistro. It was fantastic. Prime Rib, thinly sliced, mozzarella, crispy onion ring/shreds with a chipotle mayo and au jus. Kiss the chef. I don't know how often it's on the menu but it should have a permanent place. Note: they do have a Prime Rib sammy on the menu all of the time so I'm sure it can be made any day but I would not have thought to put it together. Great stop. Great service. Great food.

They were ok but I couldn't tell you it was an alcoholic drink. LOL There should be no 3% credit card charge. Society is going cashless. This is a money grab. Raise the prices by 2% for every one of you need to cover more expenses. The credit card charge is a cost of doing business. You don't go to the department store and have a credit card fee.

Decent size parking lot available for diners! This spot is a bit rurally located, but a treasure in the rough. The interior is uniquely Wisconsin, blending dive bar with supper club to create an approachable, laid back atmosphere. The bartender was friendly and conversational, yet kept his distance when not needed! The Old Fashioned menu was large, with unique spins on the classic Brandy-forward drink in this neck of the woods! I went with the Haunted Brothel, which had a lovely nuance of chamomile tea and ginger beer to give it a distinct taste! I'd absolutely go back to try another one of the many offerings on the menu!

They have a robust old fashioned menu--all made the Wisconsin style. We ordered the barrel aged old fashioned and asked if it could be made in the classic style (and specified without soda). Our server said, 'of course!' Annnnnd--then we got our drinks and they were both Wisconsin style. Not a huge deal and we did enjoy but a word of warning to those who favor a classic old fashioned with no wash--might have a hard time with that here. For our second cocktail, we got Manhattans which were better! For an appetizer, we were waffling between the spinach artichoke dip and the brussels sprouts. Our server recommended the spinach artichoke dip so we went with that. The dip was flavorful and the tortilla chips are house made. It was good! For my main, I got their eggplant parm, which was ample, saucy, and served on a bed of pasta. I definitely couldn't eat it all in one sitting. It was delicious. Our server was attentive and the prices are reasonable. Get to it!

Came here with my brother for breakfast. Food: I'm not very traditional when it comes to breakfast, so I like a menu that has a few interesting items. I found several great choices on this menu and decided on the Avocado Morning Benedict. I find that hollandaise sauce can sometimes be a bit overwhelming, so I asked for it on the side. It didn't take long for the food to arrive. Everything was hot, the portions were generous, and the food was nicely seasoned. The eggs were cooked over easy, with the yolks still runny. The avocado and spinach were fresh and served on a toasted English muffin that was nicely buttered. It was an excellent choice. The accompanying American fries got an upgrade with cheese and fried onions. Absolutely delicious! This will probably be my go-to breakfast when I return. Service: We got there right when they opened at 7 a.m. There were already a few other tables seated when we arrived. The service was super friendly and efficient. We quickly got our water, coffee and tea, along with the menus. We needed some time with the menu, along with some necessary small talk, and our server checked back a couple of times without ever making us feel rushed. It was a very relaxed meal. Atmosphere: With the log exterior and large front porch, my first thought was Cracker Barrel. The inside, however, feels a bit more upscale than CB. The interior is nicely furnished, with plenty of booths and tables. There are also tables outside on the porch if you'd rather sit outdoors. The overall design has a country feel and makes for a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Definitely a place I'd return to.

I called in an order to go for a four piece cod dinner with seasoned waffle fries and cheese curds as an appetizer. Unlike so many other restaurants that serve crappy cornmeal breaded cheese curds that don't get crunchy and retain too much grease, the cheese curds at Nuckleheadz are true breaded cheese curds that get perfectly crunchy. I wish every every restaurant would serve the right kind like Nuckleheadz does, but I guess that's one of the things that makes Nuckleheadz special. Speaking of special, I LOVE it when the breading on fish has herbs and/or spices mixed in. It just gives the fish a little something extra. The herbs that Nuckleheadz puts in the batter they use on their cod (maybe their other fish too, I'm not sure) are phenomenal. I'm not usually big on cod, but I'm big on their cod because of it. Seasoned waffle fries are the king of all fries so that was a no-brainer. The weekly specials they post on social media often intrigue me and the hangover hash appetizer sounds fantastic (tater tots covered with bacon, nacho cheese, shredded cheese, and fried eggs), so I look forward to ordering that the next time I dine-in on a day that isn't Friday and I can't wait to get the fish fry again on a Friday with the best cheese curds around.
