We Love Old Grist Mill here in Kaysville! Always a comforting meal waiting for our own delight... It's like bringing Sunshine into our souls on Rainy day... Great customer service, delicious food and the bread is always perfect! I always buy a couple loaves every time I come in. Especially the pumpkin chocolate chip bread.

Really enjoy OGM. The staff is always friendly and quick. The food is fresh and always reminds me of something I would have at home, growing up. Homemade soup, fresh bread and a hearty sandwich. One of favorite frequent stops, worthy of your business. If you haven't stopped in, it's definitely worth a try.

This place was fantastic. Classic lunch spot with delicious sandwiches and breads. I ordered the chipotle turkey combo. Everything tasted delicious and it was a fantastic value for all the food you got. I will definitely be back.

I visit here often for a cup of soup and a sandwich!! The soup I choose depends on the day I go but I haven't had one yet that I didn't love. The service is always very friendly and welcoming! They are always super patient while I decide what sandwich to get. One thing is always the same though, I absolutely must get a piece of spice cake every visit!! I LOVE IT!! Do yourself a favor and get a slice next time you go and you will understand!!

Pulling up and parking in the 80s era strip mall actually built up my hopes that this little restaurant might be awesome. Without the expensive overhead of the latest plaza expansion might I find the food and service above average? The answer is most certainly yes. The restaurant was clean and modestly appointed with music volume perfect for enjoying our meal. We ordered the Reuben and tomato soup. Both were tasty. I will say that I don't think the Reuben sauce was original. I think the corn beef was bought at a deli but the combination of tasty bread, sauce, kraut and meat were all perfect. The tomato soup was a expected. Overall the price point made this restaurant without fault in my eyes. No regrets.

Nothing better than a sandwich on homemade bread. Old Grist Mill is the perfect meal to grab for a picnic.

Easily the best veggie pizza I have ever had. My husband tried the German special of the night and absolutely loved it (I won't try to spell the name because I'll completely slaughter it, but it was incredible!). ‍ The Service: It was our first time here, and our waitress, Moni, made it unforgettable. She was vibrant, helpful, and genuinely enthusiastic about welcoming first-timers. Pro-Tip on Timing: We arrived around 5:00 PM, which was perfect. Seating in the lower restaurant is limited, and by the time we left, there was a long line out the door waiting to get in. Get here early! We left completely full and excited to return. We will definitely be back!

It was packed with flavor! If you like pretzels, make sure to order the pretzel and dips. I liked the cheese base dip while my husband slightly liked the mustard one more. Both paired very well with the pretzel. I ordered the Caipirinha from the drink menu and I loved it. If you have a hankering for lime, then this drink is for you. The dessert....oh my gosh! We ordered the Apfelstrudel and would get it again next time. Everything was on point from the texture to the flavor! One appetizer, two drinks, two entrees, and one dessert was a little over $100 pre-tip. It's a little pricey for us, but we don't go out to eat often. I'm really hoping one of these days I can try their brunch!

There were multiple TVs playing the Yankees game - GO YANKEES !! Food was hot and I appreciated that our entrees came out together and not separate. Though the wait is a bit longer for something like that, it adds to a dinner experience to be able to begin a meal together. The flatbread and fries were super delicious. The cheese was warm and so were the fries. Our flatbread's cheese was a bit cold, making the stretch not as satisfying in my opinion. I had a black truffle pasta entree with grilled chicken. Tasted great but not as much truffle flavor as I would have expected for it being in the name ! It barely tasted like truffle in my opinion. Our server, Kyle, was so kind and helpful ! He brought good energy and was truly efficient in his work :) Overall, a nice restaurant with delicious food ! However I don't think the establishment and food quite match to the price of the meals. It's higher end pricing. I would come here again but it definitely wouldn't be a top of the head pick for me.
