We didn't get a chance to eat our food, we were hoping to eat the food in a decent amount of time and leave. But we noticed there were families who were there way before us, who still hadn't received their food so we decided to leave and get a refund for our food. I wanted to try it out and wait a little longer for the sake of the young lady taking our order, I could tell she cared about how far behind they were. Hoping for the best that they get the place cleaned up better, maybe different management...not to mention the AC wasn't working. There's something about not wanting to follow the crowd or go with the flow that has stopped me from going to Waffle Love for the past few years. Too many people were talking about it and I couldn't possibly do what everyone else was doing. Major mistake on my part. There's a reason that everyone flocks to these nifty little waffles. They are amazing! I visited the location at Station Park in Farmington when I was in the area for another event and I stopped by to give it a try...finally. I have to say-I was blown away! Not only was the ambience super cute and fun, but we were cheerfully welcomed and given time to get familiar with the menu. I opted for one with strawberries, which was delicious and giant! I would have loved to finish the whole thing, but could not keep up with the waffle that was before me. Now I know what I'm getting myself in to, so I can prepare for the next time. Waffle Love is such a fun place to eat! It is very unique, and I love the experience. The only downside is that each time I've ordered for my son, I request no strawberries, (he is allergic) and they forget and put them on anyway! Thankfully for us we can just pull them off and he won't get sick, but keep that in mind if you have allergies! My go to is the grilled cheese & tomato soup. The pairing is PERFECT. I really enjoy the combination of the two. You'd think a waffle with cheese sounds a little strange, but the two together are delicious! The staff works fast so you have your order very quickly, and the interior inside is so fun to look at! It's definitely a fun experience to come in and sit down for a great meal or snack! The card says " Buy a Specialty Waffle Get a Value menu item free". No where on their menu is the label "specialty item". Makes no sense. Who knows what it will be next time. This review is slightly difficult. The food is 5 stars all day. The Nutella Love was great. It's a waffle with Nutella, homemade whipped cream & strawberries on top. The Sunshine was outstanding. The lemon curd they make is so good. It's topped with whipped cream and raspberries. The Dulce is a cinnamon sugar dusted waffle topped with fried ice cream & dulce de leche caramel and strawberries. The girl had to remake this for us because she made it but left it sitting for so long while making others that the ice cream had melted everywhere. When attempting to make the next one she dropped the ice cream on the floor and had to get another one. We also tried a savory waffle! The Southwestern Tartine was very good! It's a waffle topped with grilled chicken, bacon, sautéed onions & peppers, cheese then topped w/avocado slices and a fire sauce on top. We loved it. We ended up with the Sunshine simply because they were out of peaches. This particular store had a 1-2 star for its cleanliness of the tables, floors, trash and bathrooms. The bathroom was out of paper towel and the trash was overflowing. The service was also maybe a 3 star. The lady who took our order was also trying to help prepare food with the only other person working so she had her hands full. Our food didn't all come out at the same time so if we had waited to eat together some of us would have had cold food. They forgot to give us the milks for our daughters and the gave our coffee to someone else and had to remake them. The coffee was served first which I appreciated, however it was gone before our food came. When I told the girl cooking that we didn't get the milks she looked at me funny because she didn't speak English and had no idea what I was talking about. I'd be happy to eat at Waffle Love again because the food was outstanding. I'm just hoping in the future the store is cleaner, they're better staffed and can execute and entire order better. read more

After our family suggested this restaurant so many times we finally were able to go over the holidays. Although only one dish is pictured, we tried three different dishes. This waffle with Nutella, strawberries and cream was delicious! The cream was so heavy and dense, it was amazing. The waffle had those crunchy sparkles of sugar making a perfect seating for the gorgeous strawberries. The second dish was a breakfast Sammy. The waffles were perfectly cooked as was the bacon. The mustard sauce was a change and was very interesting instead of a hollandaise. The third was waffle grilled cheese and bisque. This was truly marvelous. Although timed at breakfast, the gruyere cheese waffles were yummy and totally dippable into the bisque which was creamy with diced tomatoes. These three dishes illustrate that you can have a meal here any time of the day and dessert here as often. We will definitely be back! read more

As I was writing this review I watched a guy in the drive thru leave after waiting for his order to get taken with no success. The woman behind me in line left too. You have to order at the counter of what you want. The service here is horrible! I worked at waffle love and used to love that we put customers first. We also worked our butts off to get food out in a timely manner. Today they had 4 employees and 2 stood around chatting while the other 2 slowly made one waffle at a time. We waited 40 minutes and started seeing people after us get their food. When we went up to check, before we could even ask about our order the manager rudely said "guys I'm making yours now!" I love the food, loved the company and it's sad to see it being handled so poorly. We watched a lot of people leave unhappy. read more

When we went for pick-up they informed us they didn't have redbull and asked if we wanted water or a juice instead. Turns out though that the "cup of local fresh-pressed apple juice" they offer on their menu is instead a tiny costco brand juice box. (Which is annoying and breaks truth in advertising laws.)
